1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum a threat to BTC??? on: August 27, 2017, 09:51:31 PM
Ethereum can not be a threat to bitcoin. I believe that in the virtual world of crypto currency, they even complement each other. There are already a few different ways of using them. They practically do not conflict with each other.

For sure, ETH brings in many things at the platform and contract level that helps to streamline various business processes, it compliments bitcoin really.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Successful ICOs? on: August 24, 2017, 04:03:11 PM
Success in terms of financial fund raising the ones are obvious. But I would term a more successful ICO is one that raises the capital they are looking for an now has the resources to carry out the vision. Not every ICO that raises money has the will power to follow the plan through!
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptos to buy now ? on: August 24, 2017, 09:35:14 AM
WAVES and WINGS I think will take off in short order. Also TAAS and ICN are good long-term holds.

Yes Exodus as well as the Jaxx wallets offers ease of use and multiple cryptos. They are a good starting point for anyone, as they learn more about hardware solutions and paper wallets they may wish to get into that.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Whats ur fav coin and why r u hodling it on: August 24, 2017, 01:40:23 AM
WAVES and WINGS for platforms, and on the service side I gotta say TAAS is an excellent (Token-as-a-service) organization, after just paying out the first dividend to token holders. Iconomi has a lot of potential as well.
6  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin End World Poverty? on: August 23, 2017, 01:09:31 PM
Well, what BTC and other cryptos do is open the door to end world hunger. By taking the power away from the centralized institutions and putting it back in the peoples hands, true innovation can start to sprout. When you have a government entity or corporate banking entity hanging a dark cloud over your finances, innovation shrinks up. That is another reason you have seen a massive explosion of ICO's and innovative ideas, just simply because this technology will revolutionize the way we use and interact with "money", as well as goods and services. 7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose good ICO? on: August 23, 2017, 01:00:00 PM
I would say the top three things are

1) Past experience of the key members
2) Project white paper and service they are offering, how well thought out is it, is there a market need?
3) Response time from support teams when questions are answered before the ICO starts. Many of us will actually send tickets just to see if we get a response. A real team that wants to bring a good product will stay on top of the customer interaction.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins that might survive in the future? on: August 23, 2017, 12:52:40 PM
I think the ones that survive will be clearly solid blockchain platforms such as ETH, WAVES, WINGS, as well as coins and blockchain assets that come out that actually tie the coin they offer into some type of platform, service or product. These are the ones that will eventually lead the pack and so strength across market conditions and overall general growth.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wallets for altcoins on: August 23, 2017, 12:46:15 PM
I have yet to see a wallet that has every blockchain in one place. Your best bet for now for digital wallets that use multiple cryptos I think is Exodus (http://exodus.io) and Jaxx (https://jaxx.io) - Of course for strictly ETH assets, you can use myetherwallet.com

They are pretty good and offer a good bit of cryptos.
