1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin Pump and Dump illegal/legal? on: July 04, 2017, 08:24:23 PM
Not just big organized groups and trade exchanges, but even individuals who are trading altcoins should make yourself aware of the legal risks of aiding and abetting said manipulation groups...according to this article:

2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: A third polo account has Been hacked and drained on: July 04, 2017, 07:50:36 PM
Was 2FA enabled? Some people are lazy when it comes to securing their accounts and when funds are stolen, they lay all the blame on exchanges.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you manage ur emotions? on: July 04, 2017, 07:27:56 PM
The best traders forget about a loss the minute they take it and move on. They are confident in their system and their ability to execute it. It is not about the money for these people. It is about finding a system that will bring them more profits than losses.

The best traders know how to take losses and not become depressed, angry, jealous, disgusted or defeated. They know how to take gains without gloating, boasting, or becoming euphoric. They see only the trade they are about to enter---not the trade that just ended or the one that might be coming in the future. All past trades are out of sight and out of mind. All future trades are an illusion.
4  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better: Trading Forex, Stock, Metal or Crypto? on: July 04, 2017, 07:22:50 PM
Am considering going into trading Stock or Gold/Silver but don't know how it's done. Am into Altcoin Trading, so far so good except that it fluctuates dangerously. I need to try other...
Is stock as profitable?  I need your opinion.

Hey amigo, I strongly advise you to focus on cryptos. Stocks are good but they are easily manipulated by politics, media, etc... y'know what am sayin?
In crypto you only have to fear dumps if your hands are weak... also, you may wanna try to operate a trading bot which is a huge help since it would run a "buy low sell high" 24/7.

I was trading stocks for quite a while but when I realized that cryptos are much funkier than stocks I decided to trade crypto full time.

Also, why would you trade gold and silver commos when you already have cryptos in front of you. Let us forget the Ice Age, this is the Binary Age, man.  Grin Grin Grin

This is some sound advice!
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets are used for ICO? on: July 04, 2017, 06:57:53 PM

MyEtherWallet, Mist, Parity, Ethereum Wallet, ImToken and Jaxx
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Dogecoin have a future? on: July 04, 2017, 06:53:13 PM
Dogecoin also has one of the most active developer team with many contributors and code updates. Many people in the Dogecoin dev community have raised issues on Github to improve the Dogecoin codebase. It is also one of the coins which have the most liquidity and trading volume. So yes, it has a good future ahead.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [LTC] What are the reason behind recent LTC rise? on: July 04, 2017, 06:46:28 PM
China Remains Quite Bullish on Litecoin. Chinese traders are mainly interested in Litecoin, by the look of things. In fact, the LTC/CNY trading market is generating an increasing amount of volume, which is quite remarkable.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do Altcoins really have a future? on: July 04, 2017, 06:37:21 PM
In the current state of affairs two things are required for alts to be able to survive long term
1.      Technological edge over Bitcoin
2.      Intensive media coverage / successful marketing
9  Other / Off-topic / Re: what will you do when you are in a bad mood? on: July 04, 2017, 06:30:08 PM
Popping in your headphones when in a bad mood kinda works! Music can have dramatic mood-boosting effects, according to Ashley Eder, LPC, a psychotherapist in Boulder, CO. Try listening to upbeat or soothing music to relieve anxiety, worry, or stress.

Research has found that listening to classical music for just 10 minutes can improve mood, and another study found combining slow breathing with Indian or Celtic music can lower your blood pressure. Smiley Smiley Smiley
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum have a nice day!! hit $300 on: July 04, 2017, 06:22:11 PM
Step aside, bitcoin. There’s another digital token in town that’s winning over the hearts and wallets of cryptocurrency enthusiasts across the globe. Also, Ether's growth may be just the beginning if most corporations adopt Ethereum as the distributed ledger standard.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you teach me please, What is ICO? on: July 04, 2017, 06:02:43 PM
An ICO is an event in which a new cryptocurrency project sells part of its cryptocurrency tokens to early adopters and enthusiasts in exchange for money today. ICOs provide a way for cryptocurrency project creators to raise money for their operations.

The ICO usually takes place before the project is completed, and helps fund the expenses undertaken by the founding team until launch.

Happy 4th of July to everyone in the United States!

Fun facts:

This fact is mind boggling!

14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Billions stolen from South Korean Bitcoin exchange on: July 04, 2017, 10:42:51 AM
With the bitcoin market cap as high as it is now, the market will easily absorb it.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [BREAKING NEWS]: South Korea to Legalize Bitcoin!!!! on: July 04, 2017, 10:32:33 AM
Great move! Koreans have gone past the “if” phase of virtual currencies, and even the “when” phase, and is now at the “which” phase, as in, “which virtual currency is most useful for my needs?” For some use cases, Bitcoin is the answer.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum Token Creation Service - Create your own ERC20 Ethereum Token on: July 03, 2017, 07:10:03 PM

I have a few questions

1. Will this token have safety features that will prevent someone from buying up more than 51% of the supply which would give that person control of the token

2. Which exchanges take ERC20 tokens and is there any free exchanges like the Waves platform where anyone can list a token for free?

3. When you create a token with 18 decimal points does that mean that's the max amount of zeros that token will have for example 0.000000000000000000? what if the price is 0.01 will there still be 16 zeros behind that number? Sorry a little confused about this

4. What if you send a ERC20 token to an Ethereum wallet what would happen, why do I have to use Myetherwallet?

5. How exactly would I make a ERC20 crowdsale token using this service? Any video tutorials?

you can make an erc20 token for free if you have a metamask wallet. here's a link to how to do it: https://tokenfactory.surge.sh/#/factory

just make sure you install metamask from here first and make a wallet: https://metamask.io/

then all you have to pay for is the gas for the transaction on the ether blockchain (which is like $0.01 max)

stay away from this scam. its garbage. anyone that tries to defend making an erc token with mne is invested in mne and wants you to spend $7 using their service instead of doing it on your own through open source options. look through the post histories of everyone who attacks me for explaining this to you. you'll see what i mean...

Just because there's a different way to creating ERC20 tokens doesn't make the Minereum Token Creation Service a scam. Calling it garbage is really uncalled for!
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin transaction is fastest? on: July 03, 2017, 03:31:58 PM
The title holder is Ripple. When it comes to generating blocks quickly, there is no competition for Ripple right now. Closely following Ripple is Ethereum. Many people believe Ethereum is the world’s fastest cryptocurrency in terms of block generation time, but that is not the case.

18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin cannot drop in price on: July 03, 2017, 03:19:28 PM
->The main advantages of Bitcoin are network effect and proven security. Both are nearly insurmountable advantages.

->Bitcoin has a large lead as a store of value over every altcoin in having existed 8 years without failure.

->Bitcoin is more accessible, with more exchanges, more merchants, more software and more hardware that support it. Bitcoin is far more liquid, with much larger volumes than every altcoin.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: July 03, 2017, 03:10:58 PM
Digital QR codes make bitcoin vulnerable to theft. Transmuting digital Bitcoins into a paper medium means the QR code reveals your underlying location.  Scanning that QR code means anyone can anonymously steal Bitcoins. That’s the bad part about anonymizing a currency. Masking ownership means no audit trail to recover a thief’s digital fingerprints.
20  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Negative effects of technology on: July 03, 2017, 03:04:11 PM
- Instead of taking care personally we are sending sms or giving a call on important occasions which were attended personally in olden days.
-Children are getting addicted to online games and their physical activities and exercises are becoming considerably less.
-Social networks are creating rivalry between best friends and couples are getting divorced.
-Aviation technology is giving health problems for their workers and creating serious environmental threats.
-With the heavy usage of fertilizers soil is losing its natural fertility and several varieties of plants became extinct.
