Update!!!
Sorry everyone, I was away from the forum to resolve some non Bitcoin related things and its my first opportunity to return
My issue has been resolved amicable between both parties. I've made a payment to cover for the installation of my equipment (as stated in contract) and I am continuing the remaining terms of my contract. I will not go into full details but the problem was a result of a misunderstanding which was hashed out and things are back to normal.

I can second that, I got the same.
Luckily for me I do not have 1 year prepaid
Update - I've heard back from James and it seems he wants to work this out. I've proposed living out remainder of my 12 month contract + credit of power for downtime I've experience so far. I think it's only fair to request what I've paid for.

Hi guys, I installed Electrum 2.9.0 on 07/31/2017 (right before the fork) and moved my measly BTC balance there. Yesterday I restored my wallet (to remove 2FA) and created a new one. I've transferred the entire balance to an exchange and as soon as it was done my browser received a popup (right as I received app popup from Electrum with transaction id). I know web popup is a fake ad trying to scare people into calling fake support number. I know some apps show web popup ads (PPV) and was curious if Electrum is one of them. Is it just a coincidence or is it someone trying to force people to visit that website, execute JS code and use Electrum later.

What are your thoughts on accusations against Justin. He says its another person and not him. What side to believe?

Thx, I think I originally missed that website was in bytes not kilobytes and now it makes since since it shows 2.6 mBTC free to be confirmed in 24 blocks

With dynamic fees it was asking for 3+ mBTC as the minimum and manually I can set it at 0.3 mBTC at minumum. I check prediction bitcoin fees website and they say cheapest fee is 0.005 mBTC. How come there is such huge difference?

Can I try restoring Electrum on another machine with seed keys? Will the private keys of that "restored wallet" be identical to private keys of original wallet?
Yes, if you create the wallet using your 12 word seed mnemonic on another computer, the wallet file will be identical to the original wallet. If you are stuck on the "Please Wait" screen, you may need to try deleting all the files in the Electrum datadir. The datadir is the one above where the wallets are located... You can find this directory here: docs.electrum.org/en/latest/faq.html#where-is-my-wallet-file-located It has files like: blockchain_headers, config, daemon, recent_servers... and folders like "certs" and "forks"... Delete everything EXCEPT the "wallets" folder and try starting Electrum again. That worked as I finally got a chance to do it. THx

There are some models quieter like Avalon series (6, 721, 741, 761) and R4 for example.
Dude I run 3 x A741's at home, I know how quiet they're in summer Right now with Bomb Cyclone hitting NE they're running at 3xxxRPM fairly quiet by my grown standards.

I didnt realize that I enabled Google Authenticator enabled and my previous phone fell into water and died. I've been trying to restore with seeds but it constantly stuck on "Please wait". I read about switching the servers manually and tried 3 different servers and none bypass "Please wait" screen. Can someone recommend a working server?

I use Avalon 741's which I've got in summer. They're not as powerful as Shitmain but from reading the forums they work without breaking for far longer and apparently they're brand new not like Shitmain.
Next Avalon's are coming out next year, might consider them over Shitmain
