Good to see some news this morning, i only had roughly 30-35 USD worth in open trade when cryptopia went offline so wouldn't have been too devastated if i never saw it again, but this offers some hope to the folks that have lost megabucks.

Yea, i'm not an avid user but i like certain subreddits. It's great resource of information and good place to ask/offer advice or opinion, kind of like a huge, diverse phpBB.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Future of Digibyte?! on: September 21, 2017, 06:59:05 PM
I like DigiByte, but unless Jared and the team can work some sort of magic and install some confidence in people then dgb is just going to fizzle out. Holders are eager to sell. I feel so bad for the people that bought at the high.
8  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the future of BTC for the next two years on: September 15, 2017, 12:26:28 PM
More regulation from governments worldwide in the cryptospace, every government will be looking at the exchanges and traders and trying to figure out how to tax them effectively. Two things in life you cannot cheat - death and taxes! And on the other side of the coin, burnt investors will be looking to the governments to take action against scammy ICOs and pump and dump schemes.

That pained me to read. I could never type that about my mother or any one else in my family. You'll miss them one day.

They seem expensive. Maybe i'd consider picking one up on the used market.

On second thoughts...

I don't really know too much about American politics, but i've shook many hands over the years. Handshakes are for men is like what sniffing butts is for dogs, on the surface it's a seemingly ridiculous ritual, but it's an important formality that has to be done differently in different situations. People can't be expecting the president of the United States to shake hands like you would with your brother-in-law or a new neighbor. If i were Trump i'd maybe go a step further and give it an assertive yet respetful thumbs back, mafia-style clasp, with a little bit of fingers in on the pull out.
13  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you hate christians? on: July 11, 2017, 09:56:02 PM
No. I'm not a churchgoer and was never baptised but i would not doubt that the overwhelming majority of Christians are good, tolerant and well intended people. There are a few aspects of the Church of England and the Catholic church that i would take exception to, and i don't trust jehovahs witnesses, beyond that i'm generally positive towards Christians.

I used to smoke it, sell it, grow it, and worked as a runner when i was hard up for money. It's difficult for me to look back on those years without any regret, i could have done so much better.
