1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] Yobi 🔺 YOBI 🔺 SHA256D 🔺 Original 🔺 Yovi 🔺 Clone ⚡ on: July 14, 2017, 04:16:06 AM
Will you guarantee an exchange for this? So it's a clone? I'll check your wallet at Virustotal! How many coins will you distribute per person? Is it necessary to moderate the thread?

EDIT: https://www.virustotal.com/pt/file/0a922443f4187154ce1c19c431f84bdae3d3652aa59ffff9343118c9d7e8e408/analysis/1499986100/

OK!

No, I won't guarantee an exchange.

Read the announcement. I specifically say that  I believe YOBI is worth nothing, that my motivation is to see how the (peculiar) code reacts, and to just get YOBI out there.

I am not trying to sell a dream.

This is nearly identical to YOVI, so I want to see how it works in real time (not Yobit, buy ROM time)

You are welcome to seek to get a listing, and you are welcome to some free YOBI.

Just PM me an address.

Yobi Specifications

-🔺 Cloned from YoviCoin, affectionately known as Yovi or YobitCoin
-🔺  Yobi [YOBI]
-🔺  Sha256d
-🔺  Hybrid till 300,000 blocks
-🔺  33.33 coins reward
-🔺  2 minute blocks
-🔺  POS: 8%
-🔺  minimum staking age, 3 minutes
-🔺  maximum staking age, unlimited
-🔺  Stake modifier: 30 seconds
-🔺  Port: 6372
-🔺  RPC Port: 6371

These ports were free according to IANA, and just happen to be Yovi-like, except only 4 digits, to Yovi's 5.

- Premine: 20,000,000

Giveaways: YES, many coins, as they are effectively worthless

This is a clone of scamcoin, YoviCoin, and is nearly a true reflection.

Differences:

-🔺 Not a 100% premine
-🔺 300,000 hybrid blocks
-🔺 Mining rewards
-🔺 Normal starting difficulty
-🔺 POS is up to 8% from 5%
-🔺 Changed the wallet a bit
-🔺 Addresses start with 1

The rest is the same, apart from the usual shit you have to change to clone a coin and make it into a different coin.

This is a fast staker.

I staked about 3,000,000 in 1 day.

Yobit loves its games.

Road Map

None

Giveaways

At least 14 million, but not on bitcointalk, as it is against the rules. PM me, I get enough names I will send you all an equal amount.

Future

LOL

Maybe Addcoin?  Smiley

But I have a retro coin ready for release ..

Mining

Mine it solo, it is simple, and I doubt there will be a great rush pushing the difficulty up.

Purpose

To see how Yovi, I mean YOBI, operates. And to get YOBI out there.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] DIMEcoin l community take over l updated everyday on: July 13, 2017, 08:21:46 PM
I compiled dime from source, and no problems. I have not tried with Windows, only Linux, so it could be a Linux thing.

I downloaded the blockchain, which took some time, but I find that after about 800,000 blocks, the wallet becomes unresponsive.

In simple terms, if I delete most of the block data, the wallet opens within 30 seconds (up to about 800,000). If I let the wallet sych again, and close it, the next time I open it, it takes minutes.

With this being Linux, you expect to get the the little menu on the toolbar, not the client, but at full synch, when it takes minutes to stop loading the block index, I have no menu, because I have no toolbar appear.

I have tried it with a daemon, rpc calls are fine up till about 800,000 height, after that if I try a simple call (getinfo), I get a message saying "could not communicate with daemon."

I think there is a fix for this, which involves removing files from "blocks" in the conf file, but not sure which.

BTW, I made a bootstrap of the blocks, and even that is 1.1 GB in a zip file. LOL.

An Electrum wallet would be a good idea.

2 BTC

He might give you a discount.

Another question, before I forget, did anyone fix the issue of sending more than 20 million dime in 1 transaction?

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which is the best altcoin exchange? on: July 03, 2017, 12:20:48 PM
For me it is Yobit of coarse !! There can be no other !! It's even in my signature ^^
Well besides them I do like coinexchange and novaexchange.
I think alcurex has potential but right now they simply do not have enough coins. There are many coins I have no idea why they do not have. I have used bittrex and it was just fine no problems at all. I use them as secondary if I find a better price there. I have tried bittler too. ( I think thats the name) I can't remmeber so I guess they were't that great.

Yobit!

There is no support, and constantly people on the troll box seeking support to old tickets.

I would say that makes it the worst. If you can not trust it to answer support questions, some of which will be about lost coins, or be costing the person money, then what have you got but a sham exchange.

Nova is okay in my experience, and may takeover from Yobit, as I sense it is upping its game.

Bitcoin as far as I know is the mother of all altcoins. It is a virtual currency where we can used it as payment online and can be use as an aaset and savings too Which is very safe compare to any bank.
Yes, I strongly agree with your opinion, currently bitcoin occupies the peak of altcoin because it has a different value with altcoin, I think no one can compete, many who already use bitcoin because it is said to be a savings asset or investment or trade, Bitcoin also ensures security For all its users wherever they are, and bitcoin is independent, so far many people have used and trusted it, I think bitcoin will be in place for a long time.

Oh My God.

"Bitcoin also ensures security For all its users wherever they are, and bitcoin is independent."

You must have started using bitcoin six months ago, in which case I suggest you research its history, and its links to non-independent, profit-making outlaws.

you started off well, but made quite a silly statement, without use of argument, here: "Which is very safe compare to any bank".

You do bitcoin as a "currency" rather than possible commodity a disservice when you make foolish assertions.

Stop it.
