1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH+POW=security? on: September 11, 2017, 08:35:27 PM
Passive income alone is not the way the SEC defines a security, other factors must also apply.
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Investment amount on: September 11, 2017, 08:26:22 PM
Buy in little by little with perhaps $50 per week until you reach the maximum you feel comfortable with. You will not gain so much, but it will also soften the price drops.
3  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Loan Services on: September 11, 2017, 08:20:44 PM
Bitcoin loans are difficult because of the rising prices. Imagine taking a $1000 loan just for it to become a $5000 loan in a matter of weeks.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: Diversifying? on: August 24, 2017, 11:58:19 PM
It is good to diversify. Maybe try some traditional investments like stocks or bonds, not just altcoins. Boring, I know. Or just buy yourself something nice. I don't think altcoins will remain safe if Bitcoin crashes. But always remember to keep some Bitcoin for the future Smiley
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happens if BTC gets regulated? on: August 24, 2017, 11:41:47 PM
I do not think that regulation is really possible. If it happens, we will probably see an increase in price and a change of people. Many people will leave because Bitcoin will be less interesting to them. More people will come because Bitcoin will be legitimized.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hands down - who really didn't sell anything? on: July 15, 2017, 11:42:05 AM
I have sold some on the way down but will not sell anything at current prices. The market will turn around sooner or later.
7  Other / Meta / Re: The forum is not so good on: July 13, 2017, 08:24:59 PM
However it's not so bad either

I think that this really has to be said.

I feel like I'm learning something new every day here.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What coins / platforms / tokens will be affected by the 1 August SegWit? on: July 12, 2017, 08:04:06 AM
All alt coins will be affected. No exceptions.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: July 12, 2017, 07:36:00 AM
As bitcoin is completely through online transactions. its not possible for each and every citizen of the country. Now a days the price of bitcoin is also high.

You can also buy fractions of a bitcoin so the price does not really matter.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Easiest to Understand and Use on: July 10, 2017, 09:30:31 PM
Bitcoin.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin be used by ordinary citizens? on: July 09, 2017, 03:01:42 PM
Bitcoin still requires technical knowledge, but the gap is closing. Right now it can be used by anyone who wants to learn. In the future it will be as easy to use as credit cards or paypal.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Transaction fees on: July 09, 2017, 02:42:41 PM
You know, everything changes. If in the beginning of Bitcoin-thing they needed to say "we don't have fees", but now, when Bitcoin is already a brand, they can take as much fees as they want. You should get even with it.

There were always fees, but very small ones. Current fees have nothing to do with "brand", they are caused by high transaction volumes.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: When to buy and sell bitcoin on: July 08, 2017, 02:43:47 PM
When is then best time to buy bitcoin and when do you think is the best time to sell?
I think its a great time to buy now but when is a good time to sell (if you have any idea please share)

The best time to buy BTC is when the price goes lower than usual so you get in at a better price then what it was an hour, a day, a week ago, etc. The goal is to get a good trade.

My answer on when to sell, NEVER.
I think that here I completely agree with you. The fact is that to date, selling Bitcoin will be very wasteful. If you are sure that in the future the price will be huge, today it is better to save and not to sell your coins.

But you can never be completely sure about that, so sometimes it may be better to sell at least some.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How does an airdropped coin get's its value? on: July 08, 2017, 02:31:49 PM
Only a limited number of users will get part of the airdrop. Sometimes other users fear that they are missing out on possible profits and try to buy in. And so a market is born.
15  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: July 08, 2017, 02:23:17 PM
Bitcoin helps anonymously and completely legally receive additional income without special knowledge. This is a unique opportunity for any age. We need to collect coins to secure our future.

You still need to have some kind of skill to earn an adequate income. But yes, bitcoin makes it much easier to trade your skills with people who are willing to pay for it.
16  Other / Off-topic / Re: punishment for rapists on: July 04, 2017, 01:26:51 PM
Only the strongest of punishments seem to be appropriate for rape. Few other crimes can make people as angry as rape.
