I retract all previous statements. If what this is saying is true, it doesn't look good for PAY and OMG. There is a very good chance that MCO will become the frontrunner in the crypto to fiat card space...when this news sinks in, I have no doubt that MCO will find it's rightful place in the top 10 of cryptocurrencies. This is a fantastic day for MCO and legitimate cryptocurrencies...gla Feel sorry for those that panic sold before this announcement.. |

Well done China for clamping down on the crypto ICO space. There are way too many scams, fraudulent, illegitimate and general shit coins causing genuine investors to lose significant funds. The established cryptos that survive this crackdown will see a tidal wave of equity from parties looking to invest in the crypto space.

MCO is going to be opening up to Chinese Market on Binance on the 23rd of August. I would imagine that has something to do with this pump. People wanting to stake their positions before it really launches.
Another pump will be happen ard 22nd August, and another one when the app is released . Expecting for at least USD500M( Sorry, nt 350M) by mid of Sept . Stay strong, guys ! Rewards & GTR35 are only for those whom willing to take risks in their life . Gambateh neh ! I don't like the word Pump, it makes the rise artificial and the growth will not be sustained. Yes of course! You see we live in a world and universe where everything and anything can and does happen.
MCO branding, blockchain simplicity, and bank/fiat convertible plastic card you can put in your wallet or purse is likely enough to make the coin usable.
LTC is a legend in crypto space but the sheer fact that MCO is marketed around the richest place on Earth is probably enough to result in a crazy MCO price precedent. It's just the way this crazy world works.
I actually think the developers got the balance right between scarcity and supply.
In terms of mainstream marketing and images to appeal to the new rich and online business entrepreneurs around the world, MCO has a lot more marketing potential than grey Litecoin.
Does Litecoin have it's own version of a spending plastic fiat conversion card? If it doesn't already it is very likely LTC will due to its tech-focused development community.
But I still don't see LTC advertising commercial imagery coming close to the glitz, glam and fashion potential of MCO if it develops a premium price and gathers enough public traction for the Monaco developers to further develop the business model.
MCO doesn't have to be a technological industry leader or coding platform like Ethereum (ETH) or Chinese NEO. It just has to be exchangeable and tradeable against them with practical use and investment by the public using crypto / digital currencies.
At some point the test for most cryptos out there is you have to be able to buy stuff with it in the real world.
If Monaco (MCO) ever reaches the top 50, 25, or 10 crypto currencies it will because its business will be based on scarcity of supply, yet still having practical fiat spending usability, business partnership or acceptance with real world business/lifestyle brands, and being marketed to the public and press as the most Glamorous and Fashionable of all the emerging crypto currencies. Digital currencies.
Can't take the credit for the above...just reposting because I think the author raises some very good and well thought out points...good luck all.

Some bounty has been shared. If all bounty are distributed and the price stays above 50K I think the MCO will be a good coin for buy at 60K sat.  It's hard to say if the MCO price is on the Bittrex exchange, if it's still at 50k I think it's impossible, we know a lot of hunters waiting for distribution done by the team, surely the MCO price will continue to be dumped by the bounty hunters, See price back to 50k ... The process of flushing out the weak hands is a frustrating but necessary part of the price discovery cycle. Hopefully, the transfer from weak to strong hands will be completed by the time card registration and positive news on rollout. It's better to offload bounty sellers now than when we are at higher prices...gla |

Breakout to the upside...could be an exciting day tomorrow...gla Now at $1.94 and #115 on CoinMarketCap I still do not see this card having much potential.. So of the $21 million raised how much (if any) of that went in to the pockets of the project team? Don't invest then JG, nobody is forcing you to like MCO. There are 800+ other coins to choose from..I'm sure there must be one that ticks all your boxes...good luck with whatever you decide. |

I like this quote from Warren Buffet. If you sell out in a panic when stock markets have plunged by 50%, you’ll lose money — certainly on your recent purchases. But if you hold through the downs of the market — ideally buying more shares when prices are low — you should make money in the long run. And another one to remember. You only lose money when you press the sell button. I believe in this project and will be holding in the long run. Looking forward to see where Monaco will be in one year. I remember investing in Ether in January and people where spreading fud about it. Good things take time. Nice to read the thoughts of some calmer and more rational posters after the hysteria of the fudsters. Took a nice chunk of MCO @ 1.83 and keeping some powder dry just in case.. |

So you are trying to say investors should dump now and forget whole thing, right? People are not interesting to buy MCO at 2$! it is too much for this ICO,
I think we need to wait cards before invest more in this ICO, price will drop lot more.
With one small sign of whale activity this will become more popular than ETH, so we can say problem is in whales. But when they grab this coin and pump it, you won't have this chance to buy under ICO price. Before long the last of this selling herd will have dumped and the buyers will move in. Sellers will wake up one morning in the future and choke on their cornflakes. I dumped 100's of ETH at $22 because I listened to FUD..never again... |

Guys Trading on LiveCoin has STARTED... The lowest price for now is around 2.30 - 1.18 USD I have a buy order for 0.85$  Yes... I'm waiting too for this LOW Yes, savvy buyers are waiting in the wings for the shortsighted sellers to clear. MCO has only been trading couple of days and sellers are falling over each other to sell, probably at a loss. Why sell a couple of hundred MCO @ $2 a pop...200 MCO could be a life changing amount in a couple of years or could be worthless...noone knows, but for the sake of $200-300 surely better to just hold and forget about them. If sellers need fiat that desperately then shouldn't be gambling on cryptos imo... |

Yes, detailed breakdown of the token pools is in the whitepaper. We modelled our Token pool structure on VC-backed companies doing IPOs. 30% went to the public, 30% is kept by the company as capital reserve for future fundraising. 25% is for the team, 10% is for future hires as a talent pool and 5% is for advisors. The reality is that building a large scale consumer brand in financial services requires world class talent, a lot of capital, time and luck. The way we structured the Token pools increases our chances of building a global business with millions of customers, who will transact billions of dollars on the platform, driving the price of MCO up for all Token holders. Back of the envelope calculation: assuming a very low of acquired CAC (customer acquisition cost) of US$30, it will cost US$150m to reach 5m customers. That's just direct cost. On top of that there is a lot of infrastructure that needs to be built to serve this kind of number of customers. It can't be done with 20 devs and no other headcount. Risk & Compliance, customer support, product, tech, marketing, finance - we're building a business and not just launching a coin. Above all, you have to remember that with this setup founding team incentives are 100% aligned with all Token holders - we all want to see Monaco at a billion dollar market cap.
