I know what you are saying, I just feel there won’t be any major bullish moves till a few months time. It’s on a downtrend at the moment and has been for a lil while.

Are we talking about SONM, right? Smiley In the last two months did nothing but go up, except for the christmas dip. I'm in since July and now I can see it finally moving. If you are thinking about the last week...that was almost canceled by this morning news.
The trend was slow, yes, painfully slow, but since November is not going back.

A couple of good reviews for the HP news, alpha release, active users(*), etc. and it's going to move fast: market cap is still small. It's already on a very good big exchange, Binance (recently surpassed Bittrex on many coins and it's the biggest one for some others, as volume).

August 2018 is the time when we will see the price go up and down and stable at more than 5$ per coin.If everything goes well with the launch, the price can easily cross 10$ by year end.

$10 means a 3/4 billions market cap...not impossible but certainly not an easy target. In a year the whole crypto market could be worth 10 times what it is now so this will be equivalent to a 300/400M market cap today that I see as a reasonable target (today.)

So yes, maybe $10 is not as far as it seems (in a year from now).

Is there any ready to run docker image for the supplier?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: December 27, 2017, 08:26:00 AM
SONM will give 20 000 real SNM tokens to the 50 most active suppliers and the 50 most active customers participating in SONM testnet.

Where did you get this information? I didn't see any such thing posted after the MVP release or I missed something to follow due to holidays?

Anyone have an idea how much SNM volume is currently traded on Okex? Can it help us get into the top 100 if they add it to the statistics on cmc?

I think it's a good idea. You could write to CMC asking them to include it too, whatever the volume is. Maybe today is low, tomorrow may be higher.

The CMC chart is based market cap, not volume, so this should not change that directly but a higher volume is a healthy sign to have anyway.

I personally will not vote for TFL? since the team should work, not an inventory. agrees that the game industry is very large and the idea is good, but the team can not even make normal marketing, but only promises!

So, why are you still here exactly? If you do not like this project just sell and move on. At least this is what I would do. Now you have two exchanges to choose from. Or are you also waiting for Bittrex to sell?

If you are stuck with a loss and waiting to recover, bashing the project is not going to help, quite the opposite.

If you do not like the team, do not vote for them, vote for your own interest.

TrueFlip [TFL] is listed new exchange Yobit https://twitter.com/YobitExchange/status/940601288479436800

Good news! Thanks!

KuCoin is not a big exchange today, but it's growing fast, just like Binance did (KuCoin has its tokens too). I used it, it's nice, I took RedPulse there.

Anyway, I think a small exchange is better than no exchange. Today there is only one and, honestly, EtherDelta is NOT a very user friendly one.

And I think being listed on a few small exchanges may help to move to bigger ones.

So what's exactly the problem with getting listed on this one?

Right now TFL is in the second place, it takes five minutes to throw in a vote. Nothing to loose and a good way to spread the word about TFL.

If you haven't already done so, go here and vote for TFL on Kucoin!

what i understood the SNM is not different from Maid safe coin. i\m i right ?

Maid Safe (like Storj, SiaCoin, maybe others) is about file storage: it's just like Dropbox, Google Drive, etc.

SONM, Golem, Elastic and others are about sharing computer power: renting the CPU. You leave the computer turned on, when you are not using it, and let a program from someone else run (in a safe isolated environment). And you get paid for it. Of course you may eventually decide to buy one or a few dedicated computers, just like it happens with mining.

It's closer to AWS (Amazon Web Services) or other cloud services where you "rent" a computer just to run a single task/service. One example is running a videogame server, doing 3D rendering, mining (why not), machine learning training or other CPU/GPU intensive tasks.

As a programmer, having bought both Golem and SONM, I prefer the SONM approach based more on standard software (Docker) rather than on custom proprietary software development. Even if I heard than now Golem may switch to a Docker based solution too.

:small_blue_diamond: SDK Development Kit

support Java / Kotlin, .NET C # / VB, JavaScript / Typescript, Python, Go
:small_blue_diamond: Smart Contract Compiler and IDE Plugin

C# / VB.Net / F#, Visual Studio

Java / Kotlin, Eclipse

C / C++ / GO

JavaScript / TypeScript

Python / Ruby

This list is insanely long and it is not a good thing. What do you mean with SDK? Just a wrapper to use the system API? Or the possibility to run programs written with all these languages on the blockchain (like Eth Solidity)? IDE plugins? For all these different IDEs?

One language is hard to support, two is a problem, more is a nightmare. And I really cannot understand the reason to support C (!?) for Dapps development. Each language has its history and its role. This looks like a random list of the top 20 languages in 2016. What about Haskell or COBOL? Wink

I get to support the CRL, JVM and let's throw in Python and Javascript too (too many already). But all the rest sounds like marketing BS that will give any experienced programmer something to worry about like they have no idea of what they are doing or they are not capable of taking key decisions.

You simply cannot support all these languages at the same time, so at least provide a roadmap: what you'll provide first and what will come later.

Developers are one of the most precious resources you need to handle and attract and over-promising is not a good step.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: July 24, 2017, 08:52:39 AM

Perhaps this is always the question why SNM is not added to bittrex and I found the answer
https://support.bittrex.com/hc/en-us/articles/202583854-Submitting-a-Coin-to-Bittrex

Note that we cannot list currencies where its primary purpose is to support illegal gambling, illegal drug sales, or any other activity that is illegal in our jurisdiction.  We also cannot list currencies that would be construed as a security such as digital currencies that promise/market profits or represent shares of a company.  At our discretion, we may require an additional compliance fee for listing.  These happen in the extraordinary cases where your coin's use case is extremely complex and requires significant research by our staff to determine suitability

ANS pays dividends and is on bittrex. Waves, for leasing, also does. And I think many others (LBRY, DigixDAO,...). I think it just takes some time to see one coin added.

How much is the fee to transfer from a Ans wallet to another (both on app.antshares.org)? Thanks

There is no fee unless you transfer ANS/NEO from Bittrex to your own private wallet.

Thanks!

Just to be sure. Last time I transferred the tokens from Bittrex the fee was 0.35 ANS. So If I transfer 9.35 tokens from Bittrex to my ANS wallet should I get exactly 9 ANS, is this correct? Or are there other "network fees" that are not immediately visible when I do the transfer?

I think the team is not good at communicating with the investors. That makes some investors disappointed. I hope the team can be brave to show and tell us the development.
sonm has very good potential and i am see its price value is going upward but slowlly
and yes sonm team is not good at communicating with investors that's why many investors pulled their hand from this project
at least sonm team should post some news about new updates in thread
i think sonm need some time for more developments
after 4 to 5 months we will see sonm real work and achievements
they are very good coder but i think poor for PR and marketing

Communication is most important with the ICO. Otherwise the investors lose fast this trust
And then there come the Spammer and shout Scam and other Shitstrom

There are weekly updates. There is no set day for them to happen.  If you visit the forums here , or the blog here https://blog.sonm.io/ and the twitter here https://twitter.com/SONMdevelopment you will see that at no point did a week pass without an update.  Sometimes updates are small.  Like the bounties went out, or this one two days ago: https://twitter.com/sonmdevelopment/status/888366106838274048

Yes I know that. It is also better to write a few lines here. That calms the people and everyone does not read there either

Agreed with you the dev team used this platform to raise the funds for their project. I think so proper updates on this forum will make the investors satisfied and it will bring positive effect of price too.

There are already weekly updates! Check here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1016061;sa=showPosts;start=0

but it seems like most of the people here do not even bother to read or just do not like what they read and feel the urge to complain every time, making difficult for everyone to follow this thread.

18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SONM: Supercomputer Organized by Network Mining on: July 22, 2017, 07:25:07 AM
Why are you spreading these rumors? Do you plan to buy more? Wink

The team did not lose the community support except for a few cry babies that got scared by the bounty distribution delay that finally started about a week ago.
And those who do not realize this is not the Amazon or Apple customer service, but it is a 15 people team, including devs and advisors.

So it takes time to do things, even hiring and training new ones, no matter how much money you raised. I assume they perfectly know what they need to do but, like everybody who has ever been in any project knows, it takes time. And you work by priorities: you code OR you answer the forum OR your write on the blog OR you work on the Bittrex listing, etc.

And after a clear answer you let the troll to their rants: the only thing to stop them is to do something concrete (like a new exchange listing, a new release, blog post, etc.) so you work on that.

The team is here: https://sonm.io/team/

and it looks like a good one. The whitepaper is a good one, with actual tech details (Dockers, etc.), not the usual ICO mumbo jumbo. And the tech seems like a sound choice (I'm telling this out of 20+ years in programming).

They answer real questions (not panicked guys and FUD) here and on the bounty thread, and on slack too, keep kicking out the scammer from slack, write on the blog, commit on github. If they all had flown on a beach in the Pacific Ocean I think they would have no need to keep up the mask.

https://blog.sonm.io/answering-sonm-community-on-dividends-and-go-to-the-moon-faith-b5fa502a588c

All of this notwithstanding the flood of whining comment, "wise advices", insults from guys who expect to get rich in a week.

The best thing you can do to help the team and your money is to stop this constant noise: what do you think guys arriving here for the first time will think? Are they gonna buy or run away or even panic sell?
