Hi, are there any perf changes on 1070 with the latest?
|

if you have only 1 cards, you are waisting your time by mining ... better buy , its still cheap now... i was mining with 1080ti month ago, it was about 5 mona per day , now its over
Actually I mine with a 6x1070 rig, but I just wanted to test it on my desktop first. My settings: - 6x GTX 1070 - ccMiner-x64 v2.2.2 (CUDA v9.7) - Driver: v384.76 - Pool: suprnova:2995 - Hashrate: 205 MH/s (the whole rig) - Intensity: 22 Should I fine tune something to reach better results or is it good already?

Could you please give me some info about mining? I started to mine it with a single RX 480 8GB (not modded, it's just for initial test). So I downloaded SG miner 5.5.5 and configured to suprnova pool. When I started to mine (2 days ago) I could reach 11-12 MH/s by setting a proper intensity (i know it's still worse than with GTX cards). I realized that i configured the wallet user wrong and I was mining for some default wallet. After correcting it, the hash rate went down to 4.5 MH/s. That's a huge change! Please help what the heck happens? In short: - RX 480 (original BIOS) with 8 GB (stable @ 1303/2200 MHz, GPU load: 100%) - SG miner v5.5.5- Intensity: 20- Temp: 59 C- Win10 x64 16 GB - Every package is accepted, no invalid calculations - Hash rate = ~ 4.5 MH/s <--- WHY? Second question: for GTX1070, which is the best miner/pool combo?

@Claymore Will the ASM mode for ETH+LBC work also for Nvidia GTX1070? Thanks
I'm curious too...

What's wrong with the Decred wallet on Poloniex?

Due to uncertainty floating around the whole BCN corner, unfortunately I had to make a decision: I'm quit. I hope the coin will find itself back in the game, but I am not able to beleive anything as no any real, official proven feedback from the team and no any progress on the public representation. I wish you all luck, bye.

New version with Vega support is close, currently I see 35-36 MH/s ETH at stock clocks and huge speed for second coins. But it's too hot even at 1.0v for core and 0.9v for memory.
Claymore, would you please share some updates regarding the Vega Eth hashrates? Could you improve it by changing some clock settings/adding specific code, anything? Thanks. Currently I have only this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1433925.msg20519728#msg20519728So no further progress. Thanks for giving a hint.

If the developers are already working on it, why is it still disabled on Poloniex? Sry for the question, I'm just curious what can we expect and when. Thanks.
Devs on polo are not answer on e-mails and twitter. BCN Devs fixed bugs already. it is polo admins time. Thank you. It's good to see dev progress again.

v9.8:
- added Vega cards support (ASM mode). - added fan/OC support for 17.7.2 (and higher) drivers. - fixed issue with -ttli and -ttdcr option for Nvidia cards. - improved support for systems with more than 10 GPUs, check readme for "-di" and "-mode" options description for details. - a few minor bug fixes and improvements.
Wow! Thank you! Guys, please report hashrate changes for GTX1070 cards. Thanks.

Any 1070 user share their dual mining setting eth +sc? When solo mine I get 32.7mh/s eth dual mine even set -dcri 15 ? I get sc 250-260 mh/s
You can get fine-tuning hints for 1070s at the link in my signature...

I would be really happy to see some reports from you guys, whether it helped to gain some coins. I'm new to this trading world and I try to keep my eyes open for such possibilities this bot may provide. Thanks.

i have on intel i7, 8 thread = about 100 h/s = about 100 bcn in 24 hour
Thank you. Are there any suggested pool/mining software? (I prefer Claymore solutions, but others may work better)

Look at reddcoin it was like 2 sats on polo now its 50 sats since delisting. BCN will be better off
Polo probably scared by the margin possibilities, I believe you can magin BCN on polo right? if price explodes then millionaires galore
is bcn usable and mineable right now?
I agreed, this is same thing happened to DSH, DSH price is higher than poloniex delisted price right now. But of course it is good if BCN still listed in poloniex, but if dev does not want to do anything on it, then we can help nothing on it. Yes, BCN is still mineable, I'm using one thread of my CPU to mine it 24/7. Or do you mean if it is profitable to mine? Could you please share your cpu specs and how many BCN is produced on your config a day/month? Not because of the profitability, at this price level I'm sure it isn't worth, but if on cpu/gpu you harvest a fair amount, I may start mining it too. Thanks.

My 6-gpu rig runs fine on genoil, but in claymore one of the GPUs has 0 hashrate from the beginning, hangs in OpenCLL, claymore restarts, then the system becomes non-responsive.
Since it runs fine on genoil, I'm not sure what the problem could be?
PSU, the riser and the distribution of the power cables also can cause this. Especially pay attention on the PSU rails distribution among the VGA cards and try to move the power connectors to ensure they connect well. However some details could help: psu, vgas, risers, anything. I assumed the problem was unique to claymore, since genoil is working. I don't understand why a riser would work on genoil by not claymore. The cards are: XFX RX 480 8GB; MSI RX 580 Armor 8GB; MSI Twin Frozr 4 GB; Powercolor RX 580 Red Dragon 4 GB; and ASUS Rog Strix RX 580 8GB. PSU is EVGA 1kW. I don't remember where the risers came from. Running on Windows 10. I understand, however as they are two different codes, they may load the cards in a bit different way. That may be enough to unveil an unstable connection between your components or some poor quality chips on one of the risers. At least I recommend to try out to change a riser on that card and put it on another one. Same stuff with the cables connected (power/data). This can lead you to the weak point easily, if there's any. The fact that genoil runs with no issue does not mean your rig is fully stable. However, I can see you mixed VGA cards from rather different manufacturers. Claymore's code might have some bug handling this case, but I suppose, there's no any vendor-specific code in the source. Maybe (!) it's sensitive to the mixed sizes of VRAMs. Anyway, please ensure, that you installed all the updates on your OS (including Creative update in the case of Win10) and use the latest official drivers. with 17.6.2 I had no issues, but I tested Radeon only in a single setup.

Dude you are advertising your blog. This isnt the place. There are recurring questions here that this post answers relevantly. I don't get any fee for that, so I don't really get your problem. I honestly like to see the increasing efficiency of the mining rigs around the world. If this post can help in it, why not...

Hello guys, I have GIGABYTE Radeon RX 580 GAMING 8GB
Its def give 21 mhs after flash 26mhs.
can someone help ? i would like got 28-30 mhs.
what I Did:
in flash/Bios 24 Mhs Memory
MHz Mv 300 1000 1000 1000 2000 1000
Mhz | Timing Strap
1750 copy 2000 replace.
in flash/Bios 26 mhs Memory
MHz Mv 300 900 1000 900 2000 900
Mhz | Timing Strap
1750 copy 2000 replace.
any ideas to get 28-30 mhs?
Increase RAM clock to 2200 (or close to that, what is stable for you) Decrease GPU: 1200 MHz Decrease TDP: -10% With bios mod, it should give you 28-29-30 depending on the driver/miner version. (I suggest latest available from both + Creative Update for Windows) You cannot get 29-30 anymore with this card. You are 2 months late. That's because of the hashrate dropping for AMD cards on each epoch. The actual rate now is somewhere 27+. If someone else has better hashrate for this card, please share the bios. Sure, you are right, I forgot the hashrate drop. It was 3 weeks ago, I helped my friend to calibrate the settings. @mzeoatrakeb: I use GTX 1070 cards. (see signature for details)
