In the months following the crypto market collapse, will launchpads still be able to offer IDOs with 100x to 500X returns as they currently do?

As many investors will most probably exit the market following a market crash, launchpads will most likely have to increase individual allocations. Also considering that the state of the market will further favor the emergence of large-scale projects, I think that the launchpads might be in times of crisis among the best investments in the crypto field. I am curious to know your opinions on it.

I have to admit that you are right about their marketing skill.

Electroneum's hype is ridiculous, this coin has nothing to offer and it is getting pumped by YouTubers and crypto bloggers only for their own profit.

Bitcoin Gold and Bitcoin Cash are not serious threats for Bitcoin and I don't believe they will have any significant effect on the long term on the echo-system. However, forks have the advantage of forcing open debates around serious issues.

1. Bitcoin Forks
Investors are wagering that a pair of so-called hard forks in core bitcoin.

2. China bitcoin exchanges
The announce by Charles Hayter, chief executive officer and founder of CryptoCompare, who said heightened speculation that China may license digital-currency exchanges and allow them to reopen after a recent ban.

3. Amazon.com speculation
There are rumors about Amazon.com Inc. AMZN, +0.20%  accepting bitcoin on its retail platform. According to a blog post on Seeking Alpha, Amazon could announce that it will accept bitcoin as payment on its site when it reports quarterly results Oct. 26, which could lead others, including Alibaba Group Holding Ltd. BABA, -1.15% to follow suit.

4. Recent declaration of  IMF Managing Director Christine Lagarde  about developments in financial technologies
'We are about to see massive disruptions,    it's time to get serious about digital currency"

5. Wall Street attention
As the virtual currency gains more attention from average folks, it is also garnering eyeballs and investments from hotshot Wall Street veterans. A co-founder of alternative asset manager, Fortress Investment Trust, Michael Novogratz is starting a $500 million fund to invest in cryptocurrencies and told CNBC during a recent interview that the cryptographic currency could be worth $10,000 in six to 10 months.

Most of the altcoins will probably go down until bitcoin Fork, Watch out for the opportunities just after the fork.  

Here is mt strategy;

I already sold earlier today 60% of my altcoins position. I will buy back 40% of them just before the fork, since I believe they will have dropped in price.  Right after the fork, I will sell enough bitcoins and bitcoins gold to buy back the remaining 60%.

Is this make sense?
