Early hours in China and the price is starting to increase....
Useless and ignorant post. You can't even dump this shitcoin right now.
[/quote]

you can dump it. Just depends where you want to put it.....

What an estimated price for that currency, I believe it is not much more than 0.1 until many accept this as the exchange currency

around .12 on yobit to .17 on bittrex
Even on bittrex does not reach .17 and is currently at .11 in bittrex and i think the price of BCC is very heavy at least just to approach .2

yeah i missed a 1. it was at .117. I cant even blame it on being tired!

Seems I have an issue with my dashboard? It doesn't seem to be updating and hasn't since 4pm utc

Will there one day be a possibility to support sha256 through gridseed miners? At the moment it only supports scrypt.
If you write the code.

...so no then lol

I assumed it was when i bought it. I think have may have found the problem. Its trying to mine Scrypt and if i have it connected to the bitcoin mine it not going to have anything accepted is it?

i will point it at the Zcash and give it a go.

Yeah, Scrypt is not supported by SlushPool at the moment. If it's the gridseed miner I'm thinking of than you can't mine zcash with it either. But it would help if you knew your miner well enough before you used it. It would save you some grief.

Yeah im learning from my mistakes slowly dont worry! haha

it is this miner. i thought this would make it possible to mine scrypt.

It can, but you're not pointing it to a scrypt pool. Try something like litecoinpool.org or something. That gridseed miner also does BTC mining as well, so you have to mine in "dual" mode. It's a rather weak miner by today's standards so I would suggest not bothering with the SHA-256 (aka bitcoin) part of it and just mine scrypt coins - like litecoin.

Thank you so much for your help. I will point these gridseeds at nicehash for now as i couldnt get it to connect to the litecoin pool yesterday and keep my ASIC/USB miners pointing at slushpool.

I will get that estimated payout time below 3 years soon! haha

any reason i cannot get my gridseed through BFGminer to have shares accepted? tried upping the difficulty on my workers but every time i just get "rejected, difficulty too low"

Hi i was wondering if anyone could help me? I bought a gridseed 5 to use on slushpool but every time i connect it to the pool it says shares rejected as the difficulty too low. what is the best difficulty to set this to please so i stop getting so many rejections?
18  Bitcoin / Mining support / Newbie setting up BFGminer on nicehash on: July 06, 2017, 09:19:25 AM
Hi all,

I will be completely honest with you all i am new to this. I bought a bit and wondered if i could mine some myself. I did my research and I bought a few USB miners, I know i wont make a profit on these but i bought them to just test things out and see how its done.
the 2 i have bought so far are:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bitmain-Bitcoin-Miner-USB-Antminer-Bitmain-ASIC-Miner/272746449672?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1-ASIC-Block-Erupter-USB-336-Mh-s-Bitcoin-BTC-SHA-256-Miner-Rev-3-00/232393761565?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

i got BFGminer as i tried to build CGminer and hit a brick wall. When i try and connect to the pools i can connect to them and get the Pool 0 has detected a new block and such but after a while i get the "pool misbehaving" and then "all pools are dead." I have tried the #xnsnub and #skipcbcheck to stop these things from happening but when i put this in it just closes the miner and i have to start again.

I know with these 2 guys plugged in i am in no way going to get anywhere near having work submitted every minute or anything but it doesn't seem to be sending anything off at all? I then check my workers on myhash and it is not showing up. do i have to put in my bitcoin address and then .worker1 or something to make it appear and ping back or is it that the difficulty is that high and it has not had the opportunity to send anything back that it is just not pinging the nicehash server?

Picture of when i had 1 of the 2 plugged in (if i have done it right)

Is there any way to get around these issues and get it set up and working? i would prefer to use nicehash as my pool but currently i cannot get this to connect with these Erupters and can only get bitminter to acknowledge them.

A further question i wanted to ask is would it be best to load up all the algorithms as pools and have it rotate around to find the best one? i know the GPU miner does this but not sure how the BFG miner works.

I am well aware i wont see a profit off doing things this way. I hasten to add this is a newbie set up and a test to see if I can get it working to look at investing in larger ASIC miners. As you can see from me asking for help i have not done too well and i thought it was best to ask instead of giving up.

If anyone can help please let me know. If you need any more info to help please let me know.
