Although I'm not clear on how it will work- is there a minimum number of users needed to make it work?

Presumably, if they all disappeared, it would be because there was not a single person left (in the world!) who wanted to maintain any of the systems, at which point nobody would really care...

Seems like a cool project - wish this had been around when I was a student! I'll be following with interest.

I agree - I also like the look of Dent. Mobile data seems like it could be a potentially enormous market, if they make it work.

Grid+ also looks like a v interesting project. They've released their "business plan" white paper but not the paper where they describe their ICO structure yet, but I think it's one to keep an eye on.

Has anybody heard anything more from Power Ledger? I thought the token paper was meant to be coming soon

Both ETC and BTC have risen significantly in price this year (and have also fluctuated about a fair amount too) - although price can be a good indicator of strength it can be manipulated - and also crypto is so volatile that on any given day you could get a totally different picture (e.g. could be up/down 20% for whatever reason).

I don't think you can say one is "better" than the other becuase at the moment they're used for different things - Ethereum seems to be used for ICOs (so many ICOs!) and smart contracts for business automation, whereas BTC is more about payments etc...

I don't think either is going to go away any time soon, but that's just my two cents 

Does Metamask also store non-Eth altcoins? I know quite a few ICOs allow donations from Metamask, and I'm just wondering how somebody retrieves the tokens after the sale, if they can't be stored in there.

Thanks for this. TBH I'm not exactly sure I understand what a 'pump group' is/does. Is it a group that invests heavily in a coin to inflate its price in the hope others will too, in the hope of selling it back at the higher price?

Been keeping an eye on the altcoin dump thats going on and for some reason (on Poloniex at least) Vericoin seems to be doing pretty well, whilst everything else is in the red... anyone know why?
