2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: COINDASH - Future of trading - Token Sale 17th July 2017 on: July 18, 2017, 01:09:30 AM

If I was one of the early investors in this Ponzi scam ICO (those who sent to the right address) I would be pretty pissed because the fact that people will get tokens even though they didn't send anything to this project (to the actual address), effectively devalues  the tokens I would be holding by more than 50% (since the right address raised less than the fake one). In a way, the people who sent to the right address will pay a huge invisible tax in order to "finance" the refund to the scammed people. The company didn't lose anything folks... they can issue as many imaginary tokens as they want. It's the people who invested that lost, especially the ones who sent to the right address.

Am I wrong?

I don't see why those sending to the right address should be considered bigger victims when those who sent to the wrong address did exactly what the team of CoinDash wanted them to do. Waiting for the contract address on their webpage and then send the ether to that address. I fell for it, too. Of course, you can blame me on bad diligence, but then again the only strange thing I noticed was that ugly font/design when the contract address got released. And yet I am really not into these wild conspiracy theories claiming that it all was a planned scam by the developers. So when you didnt believe that this is a scam in the first place, what, except for the design of the announcement, should have made you suspicious? Dont get me wrong, I feel responsible for the mistake I made and I am pretty sure that if there wasn't that FOMO beginner mistake, I would still have my funds. Nevertheless I think everybody should be treated equally here if the company is serious. Simply because for the fact that people got told "do this, and you will get tokens from us". I did that. And I got no tokens Smiley lol, I even opened a MEW address because they advised me to do so, while MetaMask would have done good too I assume. Talk about diligence Smiley Of course, if CoinDash was a scam from begin on, all what I said is extraneous. The logic I am trying to impart here only applies when the CoinDash team is serious. My 2 satoshis. And another 2 here: https://steemit.com/coindash/@hawtoken/how-i-experienced-the-coindash-hack including a small chronicle of the events Wink

Using MetaMask should be fine too, right? Because they only recommend MEW on their website ... Also, putting in more than 200 000 gas and 60 Gwei cant harm, except for the rising transaction fee?

I've been a developer 10 years now.. guess what... bugs exist.
I'm using Chrome, Safari and Firefox and it works great for me.
I'm trying to help and solve the problem...

Really reassuring attitude from the lead developer of a coin. </sarcasm>

You're asking for people to invest $12 million and you talk to your potential investors this way?  Complete lack of customer service.  Obviously you have very little actual industry experience in development.  I've worked as a developer longer than you - and most companies would not allow you to simply say that.

It works for you?  LOL, tell that to QA... do you have QA, or do you even know what that means?  Roll Eyes

You fix the code.  Your website, which is your marketing front for your company/product should be bug free in the latest browsers.  He's not talking about IE7, he's talking about Chrome on Windows.  If you can't fix something as simple as the frontend UI of a website, how can investors trust you to build something far more complex?

Are you saying you don't know how to get around a simple AdBlock extension on your website?  Any seasoned developer knows how to do this.

So many unsuspecting investors are about to get ripped off on CoinDash.  If there was any regulatory agency in Crypto, the founding team would be in charged with multiple violations.  Be really careful guys, and read this before you invest:

ALERT***A new SCAM COINDASH from the scammers of GETGEMZ scam project!!!!!!

Would love to see a direct response to these accusations.  Pretty scary especially with an ICO opening in a few hours, no price given and demands for more than double the initial money.

He addresses this here, at around minute 20:

Yes, it will be a great day.  Wink I guess many people are eager for the ico tomorrow.
Yes, like me.I hope i can get the 30% bonus for the first day . $12 million is an easy goal to reach .

Well I just got an email which says that TaaS has invested 500 ETH on Coindash ICO (https://coindash.io)  This left me wondering If Coindash team is holding a secret ICO with big money investors. Well That's that. I just hope I am able to get my investment in when The crowdsale officially begins tomorrow.

yes, medium com jsut released a report about that. very strange :S

Also, I still dont udnerstand why the contract address will be annoucned via the slack announcement channel, too. Wont there be many p0eople posting wrong addresses for scam purposes? And who's the one in the slack cahnnel that will be the official announcer for the correct address? Huh
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TrueFlip - Become a part of the world's largest blockchain lottery +Bounty on: July 16, 2017, 05:22:40 PM
Just received another slackbot scam mail:

"@tokuz asked me to remind you “*Sale announcement:*

Hello fellow believer and supporter, we want to remind you that our sale is still going on.
In order to serve _you_, our loyal believer and customer, we have decided to increase the bonus to 30%.

If you want to get your hands on some tokens, make sure to use the following information:
_Beware of scams and please make sure you *only send your Ethereum to the following address: 0x65XXXX*_

Thank you for supporting our project”.

Checked in the slack for it and its a scam, just wanted to remind the unaware user to NOT trust in messages/links/address from slack bot !!! as trueflip states in their slack channel. I´ve been told that @tokuz is just another script kiddie trying to rip you off Smiley

good day y'all Smiley

Ok so on slack I got the following:

"Our smart contract address is the one shown on ico.trueflip.io. It's start with 0x56... It's the eth address only. In addition, all tokens purchased by an investor will be accounted to get dividends. We'll release all information about how to get dividends soon."

TAKE CARE PEOPLE; THE ETHEREUM ADDRESS THAT IS COPIED TO THE CLIPBOARD BY CLICKING ON THE YELLOW "COPY" BUTTON SEEMS TO BE WRONG!!!

https://ibb.co/ip8mua

Edit: now the "copy" button does not copy anything to the clipboard, i.e. does not work at all anymore, so it should be fine. Just stick to the shown address below the copybutton ... very strange phenomenon.

EditEdit: It might have been me. Wont delete my last posts though, in case a 3rd party or something is messing with the button. I tried the button several times, back and forth, and it always copied that strange address to the clipboard, so its hard for me to imagine that it was my fault. I am a newb though. Just stick to the written out address!

EditEditEdit: trueflip now told me that it might be a problem with the end user's browser. So dont ever trust these copy buttons people! My 2 satoshis. Nice day ya'll!

EditEditEditEdit: trueflip is aware of the problem and will fix it. Really getting the notion that it was me Tongue Nevertheless, never trust these buttons and double check, problems might be caused simply by the browser you use!

PS.: Am i eligible for a bug bounty now? Tongue

Interesting comment on youtube:

"Did you see the grey paper where at the end it talks about people having a pillar chip in their wrist?  Also 2030 is awfully close to the 2030 agenda.  Also jsnip4 interviewed the ceo today and he talked near the end about the chips and how governments are interested in the pillar project and how in the future tax will automatically come out of all your transactions.  He envisions a day where there are no other wallets only the pillar platform.  Yeah, sounds an awful lot like the new world order where the government gives you a chip which is the only way to make transactions and the government will exact whatever tax they please off all your transactions and will turn off your chip if you don't comply.  He talks about it being decentralized which at first I was all on board for but then near the end he talked about the government essentially being over top of it and being able to tax all your transactions directly.  What entity should ever be allowed directly into your wallet?  A system of money is no longer decentralized once the government is allowed to use it for their own wishes.  This could be the nwo chip/platform.  I will not invest nor support it.  Please look into it.  I was all gung ho at first until I learned these things and once the cognitvie dissonance wore off I realized, it is what it is.. Even if Davids intentions are good.  I don't know him, the platform will be used for evil if entities like the government are allowed to control it instead of decentralized control of the people.  I will support things that support decentralized control of the people not one powerful evil entity such as the government."

Any opinions on this?

What is the right Trueflip.io contract address??? 0x56de3XXXX...  or  0x3b1eaXXXX...  Huh When clicking on "copy" the address is different than the one showing on the page!!!

Also, when sending ETH to the appropriate address and receiving the TFL in a private wallet, will these TFL count  towards the collection of revenues made? Or will I ahve to buy them another way/ put them on the trueflip account in some kinda way?

Thanks for clarifying!

How does "Proof of community" work? Tokens should be credited immediately after sending the ETH to the senders contact address? About when will the token go on exchange, and have exchanges already approved to list the token?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SKINCOIN - CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR eSPORTS INDUSTRY on: July 14, 2017, 12:25:38 PM
Slack invitation still not working. How am I supposed to get any relevant anwers regarding Valve's policy on this matter, especially what skincoin says about it? *sigh*

Valve Statement:

"Using the OpenID API and making the same web calls as Steam users to run a gambling business is not allowed by our API nor our user agreements. We are going to start sending notices to these sites requesting they cease operations through Steam, and further pursue the matter as necessary. Users should probably consider this information as they manage their in-game item inventory and trade activity."

I am considering just contacting Valve about all that, SkinCoins take on that matter would have been interesting though. I couldnt find any official statement addressing the Valve issue yet
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SKINCOIN - CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR eSPORTS INDUSTRY on: July 13, 2017, 11:13:25 PM
Is there a discord channel?

Edit: Btw.: Slack only yields "Failed! token_revoked" when entering the email for an invitation. Not sure if its me though ...
15  Other / Archival / Re: True Flip - Become a shareholder of world's largest blockchain lottery on: July 13, 2017, 08:33:07 PM
Can anyone elaborate how "proof of community" works?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SKINCOIN - CRYPTOCURRENCY FOR eSPORTS INDUSTRY on: July 13, 2017, 08:04:12 PM
Can anyone please point me to a post/website that addresses the concerns of VALVE being able to pull the plug regarding the skincoin business model? Thats one of the major things holding me back from contributing to skincoin.

Thanks.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: onG Coin ICO 7/17/17 on: July 13, 2017, 06:54:55 PM
Thanks for answering my questions.

Just registered as suggested. How to claim the bonus? Btw.: On the webpage it states that one has to validate his email, yet the email sent out contains no link for validation and states that the account has been validated.

Whats the email of the support?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IML] IMMLA - First International MultiModal Logistic Application on: July 13, 2017, 11:32:01 AM
I'm interested because the freight markets are big and this is the best use of all relevant, modern, data processing  Grin

Looked for minimum ETH with pre-sale but haven't found yet

There is no minimum in the amount of contribution. But why you should invest the minimum?  Wink

Maybe because pre-sales are often more for those who are willing to contribute more ... starting at 5k for example. Not everyone can afford that Smiley
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Pillar - The Personal Data Locker - 60hr Token sale begins July 15 on: July 13, 2017, 03:23:24 AM
What is the minimum contribution on july 15? Do we already know when it will hit exchanges, and which exchanges?  Dont know much yet, been reading heavily on so many ICOs lately, cant keep up lol. a brief answer would be nice Cheesy

Edit: Will tokens be available on the exchange after the token sale event?
It depends on the crypto exchanges decision to list PLR tokens. We are already communicating with some major cryptoexchanges regarding listing PLR tokens. We expect at least one exchange to accept our tokens soon after the ICO is over.

EditEdit: There is no particular minimum for purchase - you may buy as much or as little as you like.

Thanks Decko!
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: COINDASH - Future of trading - Token Sale 17th July 2017 on: July 12, 2017, 01:31:20 AM
So the amount of tokens distributed depends on the ETH price since it will distribute until the cap at 12mm? Thus getting ETH the cheapest possbile way will get you more tokens? But in the end these tokens will be worth less, because of dilution ... so getting ETH low and hoping it rises in value AND THEN putting it in coindash is, like always, the only thing that makes sense. Right? --> means all that yadda yadda solely relating to a low ETH being great during ICO is just gibberish.

Please someone, once again, enlighten me. Thanks.
