TheQuin, you must take one thing into consideration. Using faucets can be very addictive and people become kind of automated (it's embarrassing, but I set an alarm every hour just to remember to claim and I know for a fact that I'm not the only one doing this). Unless you put clear instructions/rules on the site on how to behave to not get banned, people will be confused every single time the system decide to act against them and ban thousands of accounts. If bots are the problem then the system must be very restrictive, I agree, but it would be a lot easier for us, users, and for you, admins, if there's a set of rules we must obey to be able to use the faucet.
2  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: May 23, 2018, 07:28:42 AM
So how else I can use those reward points ?

I'm just saying the way you did it matches a pattern bots have been using recently so our detection system automatically blocked your accounts.

Ok, then once again - what is the point of reward points system if you can't use them because the system detects it as abuse/bots/something else ? The solution would be to lower the limit of encashing reward points, but I'm pretty sure that won't happen.

Did you link your wife and your account to different IP addresses or mobile phones? or are you using this faucet for both accounts on the same IP address? Wetsuit do not have a problem if more than one person in the family use his faucet, but he wants them to register that under separate mobile phone numbers.

Nothing wrong with it, when the family wants to join in on the fun, but you just have to inform them that it is not multiple account abuse.  Wink

The system is not perfect, but it will detect & block multiple accounts.  Wink

Yes, we use different IP addresses (I work from home, so it's my IPS address and she uses her carrier's one). When I'm out I also use carrier's IP, but it's dynamic, so it should be different every time I connect. Also, I don't think it's possible to claim from the same IP address, even on two separate accounts, right ?

I know the system is not perfect and there are botnets or other kind of stuff that's making regular users' life hard. That's why I'm not angry or anything. Just trying to resolve it the right way.
3  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: May 23, 2018, 07:00:48 AM
As we have seen many times before, the system is not perfect and it's not different in this case. I have had a lot of reward points to spent, so for like 10 days I've been redeeming 1000% BTC bonus to get more BTC from the faucet. Is that abuse ?

Unfortunately, it is exactly how they program the bots to extract as much from the faucet as possible. You and your wife have done really well to stay awake claiming faucets for 10 days solid.

PM me your user IDs and I'll ask wetsuit to consider unblocking you.

So how else I can use those reward points ? I didn't want to wait until I get 100.000 points to encash them because it would take to long. Once again, I haven't done anything illegal and if the system detects is as so then perhaps you should lower 100.000 reward points limit, so users can encash any amount ? Also, there's a misunderstanding. I didn't claim for 10 days straight (as in 24 times per day). Claiming 16-17 times per day isn't an issue, would you agree ?

I'll PM you those IDs so you/wetsuit can verify my words.

For some reason, just couple of minutes ago, my IP address has been banned and I'm getting this: "Sorry, this IP address has been blocked. If you are using a proxy, VPN or anonymization service, please turn it off before claiming free bitcoins." Also, tried to switch to my carrier's internet (dynamic IP), which I use when I'm outside home, and it's banned as well. What's going on ? I don't use neither a proxy, nor VPN/anonymization service. Where can I report this ? Also, because of this, I have lost my bonuses. Angry

If you get the "Sorry, this IP address has been blocked." message it means you have triggered our abuse detections systems. They think that the way you use the faucet indicates you may be either using a bot or multi-accounting so either your account and/or IP has been blocked.

As we have seen many times before, the system is not perfect and it's no different in this case. I have had a lot of reward points to spent, so for like 10 days I've been redeeming 1000% BTC bonus to get more BTC from the faucet. Is that abuse ? It took me a lot of time to collect those reward points and I didn't use any illegal tricks. Also, I have deposited more than I have won (no halved payouts). So where is the abuse here ? Unless by abuse you mean I should loose more than I get ?

Today my wife has reported to me that she's unable to use faucet for the same reason, but her IP was different for most of the time, so I don't think that's the case of multi-accounting (either way, in this case it's not illegal as two different persons, from different IP addresses use those accounts).

I have sent a message using the form in FAQ section, but as usual I don't expect any reply/actions. I would like to ask here, so others can see and decide if it's worth to register/use FreeBitco, what can I do to have my (and my wife's) account unblocked ? I still have some reward points which I have collected fair and square and now I cannot use them, so it is you, FreeBitco admins, that cheat on the users. I understand there are bots and other kind of stuff, but you can clearly see that in this case that the system is wrong, so I kindly ask you to remove ban from my IP addresses so I can continue using your service.

Yeah, blame it all on botnets. What's next ? Deposit more BTC to enter the site ? Ridiculous.

How about this: Hey, I'm a human and I can prove it. Will you fix my halved payouts/remove REWARDS restrictions now ?
7  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: April 26, 2018, 04:20:07 PM
First the payout was cut by half and now some users are not able to redeem higher RP rewards. This is getting pathetic and it's looking more and more like some kind of an exit scam or something. I bet you need to deposit more BTC now in order to use REWARD POINTS rewards.

Long time ago it was the best BTC faucet, but not anymore with all those changes that require users to deposit more and more.
8  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: March 17, 2018, 11:29:04 AM
And what about those who deposit their money (by the way, that's where you get your "free money" from, but after 4 years of claiming you didn't know that ...) ? No info from site admin for couple of days is kind or alarming, isn't it ? What if they have some kind of financial problems ?

No. The free money comes from the faucet. The money you get from depositing is called interest as it is a payment you receive for lending them money.

The reason I don't find it alarming is I've been active on this forum long enough to have seen this before and I know that Wetsuit has been busy with other businesses as well and Myfe doesn't spend much time answering here.
"When you hold money in your FreeBitco.in account, we split it into 3 parts - the first part is used to cover user withdrawals, the second part is used to bankroll our MULTIPLY BTC game and the third part is used to expand our bitcoin mining operation".

You seriously can't think they have so much money that they don't know what to do with it so they give it out for free. Let me enlighten you - I'm 100% sure they earn a lot of BTC from the site. If there's no ads, you can only suspect how they do it .......
9  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in - Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: March 17, 2018, 11:06:21 AM
after all, it's free money that we claim so we should all just shut up and be happy, right ?

You got it.

I'm sure they'll be devasted that you stopped claiming free money from them.
Mate, what is your problem ? Are you getting something from defending them or what ? Because you literally have to reply to everything posted here and I don't believe you have adequate knowledge to do that every single time. If you think they give out free money, then you must be really naive because nothing in this world is for free. Don't you worry, they get their share for sure. Also, how is that free money if I need to invest my time to get it ? And how do you know I didn't deposit MY OWN MONEY there ?

Next time, if you don't have anything useful to add, just don't do it.

I've been claiming free money from them since they started up 4 years ago so I have seen these things a few times before.

You don't 'invest time' you click the roll button.

Wow, once again YOU KNOW BETTER - this is getting pathetic. Yes, I do invest time and even money, but hey you already know that I don't, right ?

So now we know that all your knowledge on the subject comes from 4 years of claiming money on this faucet only and nothing else. But hey, you know everything and no one here can have an opinion because, after all, it's free money that we claim so we should all just shut up and be happy, right ?

There is still no change, I just did my free roll and won 12 sat instead of the 24 it should be currently.

So they have started fixing it and some people are back to normal and you're still here whining about missing out on 1/10th of a free cent in both threads.  Roll Eyes

No, they have not. Unless you believe that it needs to be fixed for millions of users manually.

There's still no info from admin on this and it's been couple of days now. It's fishy, so I'm going to withdraw all the money from my account.

I sent two emails using the message board in the faq section of the freebitcoin site, but haven't received a reply.  Who is the wetsuit that you mentioned in the post earlier and how do you contact them?

Go back to the opening post of this thread and you'll see he posted it, click on his name and send a PM. Alternatively, when someone mentions a name on here you can click the MEMBERS link in the top bar and use the member search function.

As a newbie, I cannot send him any PM. Anyway, I hope this will get fixed soon.

Will BTC transaction fee be lowered now that network fees are returning to "normal" levels ?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: December 15, 2017, 10:25:09 PM
Korennya, have you been mining lyra2rev2 ? If yes then I (and many others here) had the same problem. MultiPoolMiner reported 0.0005BTC/day, but I was only getting half of it. Now I'm running xmrig + ccminer (lyra2z) only and my earnings from the last 24 hours are much higher (around ~0.0005BTC/day). There's some kind of issue with lyra2rev2, ccminer and this pool. I believe no one has found a solution yet.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: December 15, 2017, 02:20:55 PM
How many times a day coins are being auto exchanged ? Trying to figure out how much of earned BTC fee eats. I know it's only 0,2%, but if coins are being sent for exchange 20 times a day then that fee in total is not that small after all. Also, I don't see it anywhere but perhaps it is possible to set value of how many times a day coins are being exchanged ?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: December 15, 2017, 08:37:00 AM
What parameters do I start xmrig with to mine on Mining Pool Hub ? I've been using MultiPoolMiner but it closes cpu miners (xmrig and fireice) very often for no apparent reason and they just disappear from the list. There's config.json file included with xmrig but I'm not sure if I'm supposed to edit it or just start the miner with required parameters.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: December 12, 2017, 08:14:07 PM
After one week of mining, I only got 0,002BTC whereas it should have been around 0,0035BTC (MultiPoolMiner is giving me ~0,0005BTC/day). Either something is wrong with this pool (reported hash rates are way too low) or MPM is giving me wrong numbers. Sadly, I have to find some alternative. Really hope Nicehash is coming back anytime soon.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: December 10, 2017, 11:32:10 PM
Well, I just rechecked profitability on my rig, and the actual 24h profitability is in fact 30% higher than Nicehash's calculator said my rig should be capable of- using stock clocks and card setups even. The whole time the pool has reported hashrates lower than the miner does, on Lyra2re2 its around 25MH according to the pool when ccminer says 28 MH/s.

With that in mind, the rig's numbers are probably correct, and the pool gauges are just sloppy due to the amount of averaging going on behind the scenes. Profit switching does not do the gauges any favors, since they take so long to reach a steady state again after the miner changes algos.

People just need to be patient is all. Profitability varies over time, you can't just take a snapshot. Have to let it run several hours or even several days to get a good picture of how profitable it will be.
Are you sure it's the site's fault ? Using another miner (CcminerPalgin   Lyra2RE2) it looks even worse - 70MH/s in CCminer and only ~25MH/s on the site. If the pool doesn't see/accept those additional 45MH/s then mining here is not profitable for me at all. :\
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POOL] Mining Pool Hub - Multipool. Multialgo, Auto Exchange to any coin. on: December 10, 2017, 09:55:40 PM
Ok, so I just did check dashboards for the coins I'm mining at the moment and, as was mentioned before, there's a problem with reported hash rates. On the site it says ~55MH/s, but ccminer reports ~70MH/s (the same I had with NiceHash). So which one is correct ?
