Try making sure your drivers are upto date.  Mine was doing that for a while then I updated the BIOS and it runs like a champ now.   Grin

I made a video of my computer.  I was mining bitcoin at first and mined 1.14 BTC in about 8 weeks.  I since switched over to Litecoin. 

Its running a simple cheap dual-core processor and 2 -XFX Radeon HD7970.  It runs at 1.4 M/hashes per second in litecoin and I cant remeber what it was doing in bitcoin...  If anyone is wondering I will re-run it in bitcoin and let ya know.  I think it was 1.1 G/hashes and I wasnt pushing it on bitcoin, I should have though.   Grin

I DID post a post in newbies but its NOT showing up.  The system had some errors posting it as well.  Now it says I already posted this post.  As well, I have been in and out of this site for the past 4 months. It beriddles me why the time logged in clock ONLY says 1 hour and 28 minutes.  I learned almost all I know from the site about bitcoins.  As well, I have the experience to prove it. 

I have mined 1.14 Bitcoin and 15 Litecoin with my mining rig which happens to be a:

Intel Dual Core CPU
ASUS MAX 4 EXTREME
16GB RAM
120 GB SSD
850W PWR SPLY
and what really matters:  2 X 7970s

I have a third 7970 on standby but the CURRENT power supply is not efficient enough to power it.  As well, the 7970's cooling pretty much sucks heat more than blows it.  So I need to water cool it.  So with all THAT, I need a bigger case and I might as well go for the biggest CPU in the band for that board while I am going to watercool the rig.   

I made a few bitcoin news videos on YouTube under firefly4322.  Check them out.  They are rather old news now though...

Thought it may be not worth it anymore I am going to be getting a set of USB Block Eruptors and just let them go.  See how far they get.  I am really having fun with it all.  Its even got me back into PC Gaming which I have been out of the loop for quite some time now.
