You start zeitcoin with the above command, zeitcoin-qt.exe -connect=54.39.41.212
you may need to run it from a command prompt.
click Help & debug , their should be only 1 active connection, (any more than 1 and you are not doing it right)
this temporary removes the connections created by the false nodes and your block # should increase until synced.
(May require 1 or 2 restarts if it freezes, but the block #s go up consistently.)
Verify your Firewall is not blocking incoming connections.
As i said i have done this already, getpeerinfo says that i am connected to 54.39.41.212. Everytime i open the wallet it begins to sync but after a minute or so it stops, i checked my firewall settings everything ok and other wallets sync with no problems only Zeit is causing issues. But thanks anyway for your efford explaining it again in detail.
And about the malicouis part of my post. I thought it would be enough to start a attack and preventing others from staking by creating 51% of the blocks but actually you also need 51% of the coin supply, my fault.
