1  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What happens to BTC after they're all mined and billionaires own majority btc's? on: September 15, 2017, 12:35:07 AM
I'm a newb, and curious what happens to bitcoin after they're all mined (considering that it's mostly wealth to absurdly wealthy people mining them now and has been for a while, aside from cloud mining sure but that's not that many is it? IDK), but curious what is the vision 10-15 years down the road it's possible that most the very wealthy people own BTCs? Seeing how more and more transactions are going to be paid via bitcoin (and rich people own most of the companies that GET paid in these transactions) - so I'm curious how it's going to be different?

Thanks!

I believe that even the biggest miners must sell some of their BTC to pay for electricity and other expenses. If wealth people would own a big percentage of BTC and hold them price would grow faster. It would fall off course if they sell a lot of them, but after that, they wouldn't have those bitcoins anymore. So this is not a big problem I think.

Remember this: if you don't sell/spend your BTC no one can ever get it. So definetely HODL at least a bit no matter the price!

It's interesting to view it that way.  I was actually thinking the opposite - that if the wealthy people own almost all the coins then it will become completely obsolete (simply because the coins aren't being used and because what drives something to rise in value is popularity, only a fraction of the world's population is elite wealthy). I would think we would go with another cryto far before that happened though.

3  Economy / Gambling discussion / I'm a gambler - where can I sell bitcoin for USD? on: September 14, 2017, 10:37:13 PM
I'm a customer of betonline (tigergaming) and don't want to use coinbase, even through an intermediary wallet, because they can and will trace the account, so where can I sell my btc?
4  Economy / Gambling discussion / Bitcoin/Altcoin Online Poker, where? on: September 14, 2017, 04:54:14 AM
This could be in the wrong forum, sorry, I don't know where to post it in that case.

I am looking for legit online casinos that not only deposit and withdraw from bitcoin (Winning poker network), but you actually PLAY and maintain your balance in bitcoin/altcoins.  I am looking for texas holdem poker with real people.  Does anything like this exist?

I know of betcoin.ag but they have very bad reputation.

Also, SWC has almost no traffic.

I know about nitrogen sports (seems like the best option), but they have very few games and I don't like the software.

I've heard of virtue poker coming up.  Hopefully something like that works out.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / I'm a noob seeking the rare that know what they're doing (part rant) on: September 14, 2017, 04:42:52 AM
I'm a former online poker pro - which in today's world takes an extreme amount of skill to make profitable day by day, table by table (given the amount of knowledge that is out in the game).  Yet, I can thrive in this environment.

So I take my skills of perception out into the cryptoworld.  I am presuming that bitcoin will EXPLODE as well as a handful of other cryptos that we will need and be more important to the world than any other currency has been thus far.  Bitcoin will be bigger than cellphones.  It's a global currency.

I have found some accurate and unbiased articles.   My main goal is to find some good investments that fit my budget (thousands, not hundreds of thousands and up).  I think it's a good idea to gamble on a few for $100 or a few hundred dollars.  The payoff could be multi-millions.  The risk would be a small amount.

Firstly, It's probably rare to find solid investement advice for altcoins? Unless you already have millions or more, then you can likely make more money teaching people to invest than investing yourself.

If I was a poker player, I wouldn't be giving out my strategies - that'd be costing me money, but if I set up an online poker training site (there are many), then I could make way, way more than at the tables - up to several million - however that takes marketing, and dealing with a lot of hate, I could be wrong.  Anyway, it's in part of what has made online poker so tough to beat - training sites.  Even the players who have made millions 5 or more years ago playing online, totally admit they can't beat the same games anymore, and they are just mid-stakes grinders.

Anyway, the point is that if I gave away crappy information or withholding information - then I could still make all the tons of money from running a training site AND make even MORE money from teaching people how to play the wrong way - and I think that's what a lot of people are doing (Pump and dump, telling you to invest in ICO's, etc.)  No?

What gets me most excited about CCs is the global financial freedom that WILL increase (it won't solve poverty, but it will help a lot of people).  What's more exciting than becoming personally rich for me is for there to be FREEDOM in the world.  Where we actually treat each other with respect - that is a Utopia!

And a lot of people are also working against this by being greedy - intentionally, and unintentionally by being blinded by self-greed.  It's fun being rich, but I believe it's universially true that it's more fun when everyone is happy.  Scamming others, lying, withholding info (i.e. Earn free bitcoin now!).  Anything like that is a scam. It's all a waste of our time.

So is it possible to find good info on ICO's?  I'm starting to think the best way is maybe just to start educate myself, since I know what I'm capable of, but I'd still like to learn from others and with others.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Suggestions, for a reputable and altruistic CC investement? on: September 13, 2017, 07:17:33 AM
Hey guys,

Firstly, I'd appreciate quality replies.  Not really interested in hearing crap replies.  So please think before typing (I'm not trying to sound superior, I'm not).  I know it's easy to be in a bad mood and just type anything and post something negative about a company that quite frankly, we may not know much about other something not going our way.  Anyway... Wink

I'm a newb, but I've got a little to invest (please don't send me offers), because I want to see which other cryptos to invest in (sorry if this only BITCOIN talk?).  I already am investing in bitcoin - I just want to diversify.  So I already know which ones I want to invest in, but I get the sense that they are not going to be caring about the world and possibly the poverty - they will only want to be greedy - so yeah, I can get rich with them - but I still have a choice, so I'd like to invest in some ICO's and CC's?  Your suggestions?

Also, I only know one way to invest is to buy their currency, but is there another? I know that in bitcoin there is real companies who offer 1% a day for a little while.  But I'd be interested in hearing other options.

Thanks and good luck!!!

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: 1st timer - Help cashing out from bitcoin wallet. on: July 09, 2017, 02:50:26 AM
Which app is that exactly? You coulse use a third party exchange to sell your Bitcoins for cash.

e.g: Coinbase, LocalBitcoins or Kraken.

I thought the app I'm using WAS a 3rd party? But I am not sure.

Hey, so I am using "Bitcoin Wallet" app and nowhere on it does it say how to exchange it for USD (either by bank wire, or some other method).  Can anyone help me? Yes, I do have bitcoin in there.

Thank you
