1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRC] Craftcoin - Portable Minecraft Game Currency w. Economy Plugin on: June 14, 2014, 12:09:55 AM
Well keep me updated on what the dev says. I'm working to get mine on board. He says he can't do it, for reasons that obviously mean he wants to work on it after giving me a little hell, he always gives me hell before giving in. So what needs to be done with development? What issues is the coin having code-wise and overall? If I knew what is wrong, it would be easier convincing my dev to work on CraftCoin. I can definitely host the home Minecraft server, website, and block explorer, reliably.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRC] Craftcoin - Portable Minecraft Game Currency w. Economy Plugin on: June 13, 2014, 09:44:56 PM
Is the source for this open? And is there currently a home for CraftCoin? I tried checking out the links OP posted, but they were 404. I have a developer, and plenty of hosting resources, and would be willing to put work into CraftCoin to keep it alive. Also, what work needs to be done with it?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CRC] Craftcoin - Portable Minecraft Game Currency w. Economy Plugin on: June 05, 2014, 06:32:19 AM
I have been trying to get my PSYcoin working for my server, its a cheap coingen coin, and they sent me 32bit win-bins and 64-bit winbins, with my current webserver being 32bit-lin. I don't have the time to deal with it anymore. I woul like to implement CraftCoin into my meta community website, http://psymonkey.net, and also my Minecraft server.

I am working on some meta material/currency/xp transfer, because I host a few different game servers. I am using the website as a base framework. Is this still being actively mined/used? If so I will implement CraftCoin, else I will try to find time to implement PSYcoin. If any devs read this, is there a php implementation available, and, if not, do you mind if I made one?

Does anyone have any experience with this PSU?

http://www.amazon.com/Coolmax-ZU-1000B-CrossFire-Certified-Modular/dp/B008LA6IB6/ref=sr_1_4?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1390598727&sr=1-4&keywords=atx+power+supply

I have a pair of 4-socket serverboards being shipped to my house, and I am needed at least one 1000W+ PSU to get one running soon. If anyone has any other recommendations I am willing to listen, otherwise I would like this PSU, it's the best one I've found so far that I can afford.. I have 0.13 atm to spend on PSUs.
Thanks,

8  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] 2x 1000 Watt PSU on: January 23, 2014, 09:52:43 AM
I am looking to buy 2 x 1000W ATX Power Supplies for a pair of 4 socket serverboards that are currently en route to my house. I am looking to spend 0.12 total with shipping, but let me know your price and we will work something out; new or used is okay.
Required specifications:

"To ensure system stability, a 1000W (minimum) ATX power supply
[ 8-pin & 8-pin (+12V) and 24-pin are required]"

As these are going in servers, i would prefer Gold rated PSUs.

If only 1 x 8-pin is available, and the PSU is at a good price, I can accept it. I have spare connectors from a smaller PSU I chopped up for blades and I can splice another 8-pin onto it.

Thanks

9  Bitcoin / Mining support / Unresponsive Asicminer Blade V2 - Green PCB on: January 19, 2014, 08:58:47 PM
I've recently been having problems with one of my blades, description in title, where it just won't respond.
-The green light on the ethernet flashes at a steady interval, while the orange is solid.
-When I jump the factory reset pins, the ethernet port lights go off and the status light flashes rapidly, then goes back to normal. Everything seems normal right? Wrong. When I configure the blade, I set it to 192.168.1.252:8000, with my other 2 blades on 250 and 251. It won't respond there. After the reset, I tried it on 254 and still nothing.
Sorry for the WoT, but does anyone know what might be going on here? Again, this is only a recent (last 5 days) problem.

Thank you

13  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTB] 1x working Klondike 16 on: December 13, 2013, 12:49:55 AM

Vl4dim1r,

Remember  ...... don't drop it on your junk if it's on or is still HOT  Shocked

Yes, that is common sense. But I'll keep a barrier of sorts on my lap while I'm reworking, just to be safe Cheesy
15  Economy / Goods / Re: Magic the Gathering cards again! on: December 12, 2013, 07:38:27 PM
Can someone else vouch for NaturalOrder8? I'd like to buy some cards from him, but I need a little reassurance in trusting him first.

EDIT: This guy is a fraud. I purchased 0.06 worth of assorted MTG cards plus a few Whipsof Erebos and "a few random mythic rares". The day I bought all this from him was the date of his last post, December 16th, 2013. Do not try to buy from him. It is possible that some unfortant circumstance is preventing him from being heard from, but I guess we will never no. Probably a scam.

18  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike - 16 chip ASIC Open Source Board - Preliminary on: December 11, 2013, 08:13:08 PM
Vl4dim1r,

This is the heat gun one should never drop on their junk after using it for any time -> http://www.lowes.com/pd_20960-97-0503040_0__?productId=1059297&Ntt=heat+gun&pl=1&currentURL=%3FNtt%3Dheat%2Bgun&facetInfo= ..... or QualitySeeds Ebay idea will also do the trick.

H@shKraker

My local lowe's didn't have that specific gun, just the single temp Wagner, But they had a Porter Cable heatgun, same price, same wattage, variable speed, variable temp. I guess I will let it heat up and point it at a thermometer so I can mark on the dial where the necessary temps are. I actually used it to defrost my windshield last night xD
19  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike - 16 chip ASIC Open Source Board - Preliminary on: December 09, 2013, 06:06:40 AM
Vl4dim1r,

I once got krunk with an oscillator and a standard, bought from the hardware store heat gun.  Be careful though, don't drop that heat gun on your junk after it's been on for any time Undecided

H@shKraker

Unfortunately, I've checked all the local hardware stores and cant find a heat gun. Checked all the craft stores for embossing pens too, with no luck. Maybe they were just hiding somewhere...

EDIT: H@shKraker: Are you in the US? If so, was it one of the main chain hardware stores you found yours? What would I most likely find it with?
20  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Klondike - 16 chip ASIC Open Source Board - Preliminary on: December 07, 2013, 09:50:26 PM
IrishFBall32,

You could TRY to hand solder the board (which would be a TRUE PITA) *OR* you could whip yourself up a DIY arduino reflow oven made from a converted convection toaster oven -> http://www.adafruit.com/blog/2011/07/22/reflow-oven-controller-shield/ .  These things are da *B-O-M-B* for small batch SMT work and they're fairly inexpensive:-D

H@shKraker

If you have a Goodwill Outlet warehouse nearby, i recommend going there. I see low wattage toaster ovens all the time, but the day I went looking for my "reflow oven", I found a 1500W GE , retails about $250, for $3.

EDIT: Question, does anyone have a hot air reflow pen they're willing to sell? I'm having difficulty finding one for btc.
