1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][COMP] Compound Coin - X11 POW/POS High APR - SWAP FROM UKC ON GOING on: October 06, 2017, 03:00:00 AM
Hello! Coinexchange UKcoin wallet is green again and looks like we can try to withdraw.
If we send UKCoin to address that folks with wallets swapped we can swap UKCoin to Compound coin?

Is that possible?

So for who have this coin on CoinExchange.io I recommend to open a ticket for they to allow us to withdrawn our UKCoin even if wallet isn' t syncing.
Also for Compound Coin team, would be nice to work with CoinExhcange.io to allow us to convert it to Compound Coin, there is a lot of UKCoin in that exchange that can become Compound Coin.

Where is the source code to build on Linux with QT? Without source code we can' t trust.

Updated on page one.

thanks @CompoundCoin! It build nicely on Linux + QT.

About coins on CoinExchange.io, their wallet still in maintenance mode, don' t think it will back someday. It's okay to send from coinexchange and show you transaction too?

Hey folks! Someone can compile the code from source?

Checked github, few commits only, no activity have few days, the linux QT wallet doesn't work (I get segfault) but Windows one works in WINE.

Hello! I want to be a beta tester too. Mined 200k of UK Coin last night, now how much a masternode need? How is masternode profity? Post details to tell us that this is a good coin. I already invested 30 bucks on UKC Smiley.

Also created a issue on your github.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / BUG in Linux when setting ServerLayout in Xorg on: July 31, 2017, 06:31:00 AM
Hello folks!

So I have here two GPUs, one EVGA GTX 1060 6GB SC and one EVGA GTX 970 FTW+. The first is used exclusively to mining, the last is used to mining when I'm not using the machine.

In order to overclock and enable custom fan control of GTX 1060 I need to configure Xorg to have a ServerLayout entry, like that:

Code:
Section "ServerLayout"
    Identifier     "Layout0"
    Screen         "Screen0"
    Screen         "Screen1"
EndSection

Check full file in https://gist.github.com/anonymous/39706554209e5c4e1889319d265727ca (don't like to plot a lot of text in this post :]).

miner.cfg without pools:
Code:
[common]
cuda_devices 0 #1
intensity    64 #64
templimit    70
pec          1
boff         0
eexit        3
tempunits    c
log          1
logfile      miner.log
api          0.0.0.0:42000

miner output, usually got to 300 sol/s or more, but with ServerLayout configuration:
Code:
 ~/projects/mining/ewbf-nanopool-zec-miner
❯ ./miner

So finally, if I don't use the ServerLayout with two screens in xorg.conf, miner runs very well reaching 300 sol/s for GTX 1060, but I can't overclock or control it's fans. I know that ServerLayout works well cuz I use it to mine Ethereum with Claymore miner and got GTX 1060 to 21.7 Mh/s.

Someone know how to solve this bug? Some word from DEV?

Have nice weekstart Smiley.

I may have a stumbled in a bug.

I have two gpus, with following data:

Code:
❯ nvidia-smi --query-gpu=timestamp,name,pstate,utilization.gpu,clocks.sm,clocks.mem,clocks.gr --format=csv

timestamp,               name,                 pstate, utilization.gpu [%], clocks.current.sm [MHz], clocks.current.memory [MHz], clocks.current.graphics [MHz]
2017/07/13 01:45:49.892, GeForce GTX 970,      P0,      100 %,              1521 MHz,                3564 MHz,                    1521 MHz
2017/07/13 01:45:49.892, GeForce GTX 1060 6GB, P2,      100 %,              1936 MHz,                3802 MHz,                    1936 MHz

However while mining all day sometimes gpus crash and I get miner without any hash/s.

I'm running miner with following command:

Code:
❯ while sleep 1;do ./miner --server us1-zcash.flypool.org --user <hash>.$(hostname)_gpu --pass x --port 3333 --templimit 75 --tempunits C --api 0.0.0.0:42000 --pec --cuda_devices 0 1 --eexit 3;echo "\n\nDEAD\n\n";sleep 1m;done

and that's output of miner:

Code:

and then that keep like that as long I saw the problem (at least 30 minutes).

So I'm thinking why even with --eexit 3 miner didn't restart properly. My solution was to do kill it in another script:

Code:
❯ while sleep 10;do curl --silent "http://localhost:42000/getstat" |grep '"speed_sps":0' && (pkill miner && echo "killed" && sleep 5m);done

Who can help me? How I can help improvement of miner Smiley?

Big thx!
