1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins for 2-3 years holding! on: March 26, 2018, 09:51:40 AM
NEM would be a great coin to invest in also, I really think this coin has great potential in the future because the developers are constantly working hard and I think I saw them conducting a meeting or conference around the world. Maybe they are trying to instill knowledge to the people especially the investors what NEM is capable of. I really have a good feeling about this coin.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: March 26, 2018, 09:46:37 AM

You should not panic and sell all your holdings. It will only lead to loses if you do that. If bitcoin decrease it is our time to accumulate more or buy another bitcoins because i think the price will recover if the dump will over. If you see the pattern in the past bitcoin get down but days or months it has recover and move to another ath.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: March 25, 2018, 01:33:16 AM

There are lots of reasons for the price rise of bitcoin.
Some of the reasons I can tell you.
First thing you know that crypto currency has started with bitcoin.

And as you know, the price of the crypto currency depends on the demand and the supply.

And the supply of bitcoin is low and the demand is high and there is One more important reason is acceptance of the bidcoin.

As far as the ALT coins are coming from their trading bitcoin, due to which the rate of bitcoin will remain high.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: March 25, 2018, 01:29:03 AM

It's on an individual basis, I have been part of a couple and they are yet to get things going but they do seem solid so I am just holding to see how they progress.

I think you need to try your best and do some research but as there are more and more launching everyday the chances of scams will grow as well so vigilance is key, but overall I do think an ICO can be a good thing.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you like airdrops? on: March 24, 2018, 09:46:36 AM

I think that there are very few people here that hate airdrops because you get free stuff, even if probably at most projects you are the product, learned this on my skin.I completed like 400 airdrop forms and got only 62 I think...many projects are just a scam, as ICO are...find projects that has: Whitepaper, Site, a good team behind it, don't loose your time completing scam forms, because here in the World of Crypto time = money more that anywhere.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a mode of payment on: March 24, 2018, 03:31:36 AM
I think it is better than our fiat here in my country it is hard to find a job that gives me a better income to use as a payment, In bitcoin it really help me to buy my daily needs because of a better income that it given to me and use it as payment to my transactions.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: March 24, 2018, 02:46:09 AM
Perhaps, but the rise and fall of criminality is not really because of bitcoin per se. Criminality is everywhere dude. All things are good unless used the other way around. Bitcoin is also good just like our fiat. However, fools use them otherwise.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum TO $400 AGAIN on: March 24, 2018, 12:22:41 AM
a lot would buy ETH if it goes below $500. there are just people waiting for it to happen. if they thought bitcoin will be a good investment in the future, they are also thinking of ETH as one of the best investment. but i don't think it will really go that low, it has strong support already.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin be more profitable in the upcoming years? on: March 24, 2018, 12:01:57 AM
Yes, I'll be optimistic that Bitcoin will be more profitable in the upcoming years. The factor that made it less profitable at this exact month is due to a lot of sellers cashing out all of their earnings for Christmas. In general, it is because of the holidays or season. Let's take this opportunity also to buy bitcoins because the price in the market dropped recently. There is no doubt that when the upcoming year starts, it's price will go skyrocket as the year goes. It is another ride to 20k USD
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do We Need Social Media Promotion on: March 14, 2018, 11:25:57 AM
Most of the media are only fucking Bitcoin around and like to mention senstitive informations like Bitcoin is only for buying illegal things (Drugs & weapons => Silk Road) or terrorists use it .. also can be used for Money Laundering etc ... Pure bullshit .

11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you investing in Bitcoin? on: March 14, 2018, 11:22:05 AM

The potential of the blockchain technology is what caught my eye in the first place. I want to support the industry and be part of it as well as it develops.

The investment side is of course also part of the reason why I am in the crypo space and interested in Bitcoin.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why People Can Not Believe Bitcoin on: March 14, 2018, 11:17:46 AM
Firstly, I advise you to improve your english writing skills since it was a bit difficult to understand what you were trying to convey due to your bad grammar. Coming to your question, you don't need to force bitcoin and the crypto market down anyone's throats. If they feel pessimistic about bitcoin and the crypto market, that is their opinion and there is nothing much we can do about it. As bitcoin grows more and more popular with time, your friends might acknowledge the truth which is that bitcoin is the future of payment processors and is revolutionizing the way we pay for services.
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in College??? on: March 14, 2018, 11:13:05 AM

If I'm not mistaken, in the US there are some courses that are offered which give some intro into cryptocurrencies; but it doesn't really make sense to me why you would want to pay big money to some college to teach you the basics of Bitcoin.  Everything about Bitcoin is "google-able" and you will probably find out a whole lot more by asking questions to people on forums like these or Bitcoin's stack exchange forum.

It just seems dumb to "make a job" out of this.  To me this is/should be more of a hobby type of thing.
14  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: March 13, 2018, 11:27:09 AM
What do you mean by "can the bitcoin survive?" results are in front of you splitting didn't do anything to BTC price and hope so it will going to rise more high. BCC is just an altcoin and not going to compete BTC, so stay calm.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: March 13, 2018, 11:24:07 AM

they have already done that in some TV programs when they talked about bitcoin and what it is, and I once saw a program do a QR code giveaway kind of deal on TV.

none of it is going to help as much as you and I stop hoarding bitcoin and start spending it. because as we begin using bitcoin more as a currency, the more merchants will be willing to accept it as a payment and eventually the growth speeds up and we can see new kind of adoption. meaning real bitcoin users not more speculators.
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The future of Bitcoin on: March 13, 2018, 11:19:58 AM
The question you brought up about whether governments are considering buying up bitcoins is an interesting one.

It looks like the classic Prisoner's Dilemma problem. All governments would be better off if bitcoin died out, but the first government to initiate a bitcoin-reserve buying program would be in a much better position than other governments if bitcoin does become ubiquitous.

I think in the world of American hegemony we lived in between 1990-2000 there would be no bitcoin buying, but in an increasingly bipolar world of East vs. West that is developing today along with a few fragmented rogue states such as North Korea and Iran, someone will defect and start buying bitcoin which will trigger a cascade of strategic buying.

Disagree about the creation of i-coin though. No nation has enough power to unseat a truly global currency like bitcoin once it becomes ubiquitous, unless they conquer a super-majority of the world.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do Banks fear cryptocurrency on: March 13, 2018, 11:16:26 AM

Of course they are, cryptocurrencies basically rob them their source of money.

In case cryptocurrencies get globally adopted banks will lose their mighty position as moneycontroller
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: March 12, 2018, 11:21:35 AM

If everyone stops using it or if in some way becomes wothless, these are the two situations I think of that could make bitcoin die. But I don't know what could cause something like this, people get used to bitcoin and all benefits that it gives and demand is geting biger all the tim
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am i late to buy bitcoin now ?? on: March 12, 2018, 11:17:10 AM

It's hard to say about this.
And none have the right answer for you. Expensive today maybe expensive tomorrow.
Few months ago bitcoin at 3k people scare about it ATH but after many ATH people feel confuse and FOMO with it.
Then just invest with which you can afford to lose
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will survive after 100 year ? on: March 12, 2018, 11:12:47 AM

Regardless of what bitcoin's fiat worth is there will always be enough to go around as 1 bitcoin is divisible many, many decimals/values. For this reason I say yes bitcoin will be around in 100 years. The only question is if it is still profitable for miners but I presume it will be, maybe somebody could clarify this.
