2  Economy / Goods / Bitcoin No Borders Tee on: October 01, 2017, 11:41:16 PM
I made a shirt showing, in my opinion, one of Bitcoin's most important aspects:

The message is a bit of a double entendre in that bitcoin has no borders, and neither do the letters I used. I feel that a white shirt best showed this in allowing the letters to bleed into the shirt.

this design is visible on my storefront here along with some other designs like scarves, clocks, stickers, etc.

I went ahead and updated the definition to be a bit more accurate as well as fixing the "typo" Tongue

Typo on that t-shirt... Talking about HODLing, and yet you got quote "WHY AM I HOLDING? (...)"  Grin

That would be a pretty cool shirt. I'm still trying to think of good ideas for Bitcoin shirts at the moment haha

I like the graphics on the t-shirt. Very attractive!

If I may make one suggestion, it would be to add the fact that it literally is an acronym for "Hold On for Dear Life"...and that's an important part of this thing called Bitcoin. Early adopters were getting in to support an idea, not as an "investment". People that are getting in now have to be ready for the wild swings we endure. Bitcoin will lose 30% of its value in a week, the news will start talking about "crash, crash, crash" and then it'll pop back up 50%!

You can't predict these swings and you can't mitigate your exposure either...you just gotta hold on for dear life!

I debated that, and it appears there is a split consensus on whether or not HODL is an acronym or not. Looking at it's origins https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=375643.0 you can see that it did not start off as an acronym but rather a drunken misspelling of HOLD. I decided to keep it true to it's origins in my definition to avoid the controversy of the acronym.

Cool

Not sure if this belongs here, just thought I'd let you guys know I defined HODL on a t-shirt so now everyone can know of it's importance.

Cheers!

Very nice, descriptive design. Near to perfect definition for one of the iconic word of cryptocurrency. Though the price is a little steep, it's a good choice for a Bitcoin community.

Haha I agree. I'd lower the price of I could
