1  Economy / Services / Re: Old trader offering here hedgefund service on: November 11, 2023, 08:00:04 PM
I can't get loan even the 50$

If its true, I'd suggest to search for exchanges or forex brokers that give free bonus funds and allow to withdraw the profits.
Also, you may find a prop trading company that can give you the real funds.

There is always a way to find money for trading if you can generate a stable profit.
2  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Seed Backup Solutions, compared feature by feature on: October 05, 2023, 07:13:27 AM
It will take ages to brute force a good password while there is no other way to open a crypto container.
I think it is quite naive to assume that your security protection will never be broken, especially as far as sending out a public link and encouraging people to hack it. Who knows, people might use other means to get your funds or employ tactics. There is a reason why people suggest offline backups if you want to protect your money.

Well, that was just a funny example, you should never encourage anyone to access your funds as it is unsafe personally for you. But seriously, if you have a strong password then bruteforcing it will be as hard as if you tried to find the key. Of course it is not that easy since you need to learn how to use VeraCrypt properly, but generally, it can be absolutely safe and all possible ways of accessing the data are not about just hacking the storage.
3  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Seed Backup Solutions, compared feature by feature on: October 04, 2023, 10:27:34 PM

The easiest and maybe even safest way to make a backup is to keep it somewhere online. Just hide it into a crypto container before doing anything.

Where online, there is such a thing as hacking and if hackers trace that your coins are online they will try to hack it, what's the use of hardware wallets if keeping it online is safer and about OP's offer, this is for those who want to keep a huge amount of Bitcoin because it's not cheap.

Man, just read what I wrote and what you actually quoted. You don't need to to upload a .dat file straight to the cloud. Download some software like VeraCrypt, put your keys into the crypto container, set a safe password and don't give a fuck about hackers. You can even upload it to the cloud and post a download link in your twitter. It will take ages to brute force a good password while there is no other way to open a crypto container.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Layer 1s. Why does anyone invest in any other than Solona? on: October 03, 2023, 06:35:35 PM

1. Must be 2 years since the last one? and been massively upgraded since then.

A quick google search shows that Solana had an outage on January 7, 2023. But for Solana having only 1 issue for this year is a great achievement.
Considering the current low TVL and weak activity I'm not sure if anything happens once it becomes more popular.

2. Is there? what does that amount of transactions and so cheaply?

As per DefiLama it have only 0.88% of total DeFi TVL. Which is not surprising since most of the top Dapps are not running on SOL blockchain.

3. Wont make an ounce a  difference and next one is 2025

It is a doubtful investment when you know that FTX is about to dump 10% of coin's total supply.

4. It hasnt at all.

No shit.
About 43% of supply was allocated for team and various private rounds with a price from 0,04$ to 0,25$ while only 1,43% went to CoinList public sale.
5  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is cheapest way to buy Bitcoin? on: October 03, 2023, 03:21:40 PM
Well, as it was said, p2p is the cheapest option and you wouldn't find any cheaper option rather than binance as it have the largest trade volume.

However, the withdrawal fees for BTC are pretty high and I've got a small lifehack for that: there is a platform called Nexo.io that grants at least 1 free withdrawal monthly (or more when they have promotion). Therefore, you can an altcoin on the cheapest network, exchange it to BTC and withdraw on the main net for free. I'm usually doing this when I need to withdraw small amount of ETH for transaction fees.

P.S. Nexo got a referral program that gives you 25$ in BTC if you hold 100$ there for a month. DM me for a link if anyone interested.

6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Arbitrage trading on: October 03, 2023, 02:57:13 PM

_ $100 or more

100$ of deposit is definitely not enough for crypto arbitrage.

First of all, you gonna need to buy the access for a decent arbitrage bot because beside the price difference you also need to know the market depth just to know the amount or coins you can buy. It is hard to do this completely manually since the arbitrage situation can last only for 15-20 minutes.
You need to have enough deposit to cover the exchange withdrawal fees. With 100$ deposit  these fees will kill the entire profit.
And of course a decent arbitrage bot can easily cost over 1000$ for monthly subscription.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Layer 1s. Why does anyone invest in any other than Solona? on: October 03, 2023, 02:08:42 PM
1. Solana have a history of long slowdowns an crashes which makes it technically unreliable.
2. There is a lot of competitors within DeFi sphere that perform better.
3. The huge amount of coins comparing to Solana total supply was in FTX portfolio and it is possible that these coins gonna be sold on spot in order to provide compensation for FTX users.
4. Solana got shitty tokenomics. A large amount of supply was initially concentrated among a small number of users. They can easily dump the price because they bought it cheaper than it was sold on a public sale.

To be honest, it does not seem to be a safe and reliable investment.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Craig "Faketoshi" Wright saga continues. His team turns against him. on: October 03, 2023, 01:46:04 PM

Of course Forbes would write trashy articles like this that still talk in terms of "Satoshi Nakamoto", because it smells like a user-submitted piece.

Indeed. On the website it is said that the article was provided by the contributor and this is his own opinion.
I clearly remember that some years ago here on BTT Services section people offered paid Forbes article writing. Now the situation is different, but it seems like such service is still available for the ones who have enough money or influence.
9  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Seed Backup Solutions, compared feature by feature on: October 02, 2023, 10:12:40 PM
To be honest, I find it a quite useless thing. If you can't keep your seed safe then you gonna lose the physical backup as well. Also, having such device gives a signal to criminals that you can be an easy target so you still gonna have to hide it from everyone.

The easiest and maybe even safest way to make a backup is to keep it somewhere online. Just hide it into a crypto container before doing anything.
10  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for October on: October 02, 2023, 09:45:00 PM
It really feels like right now we may gather liquidity somewhere close to 29k and then get another correction. Due to FOMO many people tried to short which already gave a boost to get on where we are now. We will probably go higher due to positive sentiment, but there is no serious changes that may trigger a serious bull market and correction may happen sooner than you may expect.

I don't expect BTC will go high but hopefully, it will give some fuel for alts as some of them have over 300d of accumulation.
11  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Alternate to Trading View on: October 02, 2023, 07:53:57 PM
I've recently found https://coinpaprika.com/ to be pretty useful. It is like CMC but with tradingview chart. And unlike the original TradingView website, this platform has no limitations on the number of indicators that can be added to your chart. It have all "traditional" indicators but unfortunately there is no custom ones (like Order Block Detector on tradingview). So if you don't need anything specific coinpaprika should be completely ok.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 95% of NFTs have a market cap of zero on: October 02, 2023, 04:58:11 PM
The only question I've got is what did you expect?
It was absolutely pointless to think that NFT picture of a monkey is going to be more valuable in some time. Investing into altcoins is much more reasonable.

NFT worth something only if it grants access to anything. Just like it works in GameFi.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any new PoW coins on the market? on: October 02, 2023, 04:11:23 PM
I'm surprised there are so many PoW coins out there, when there's so much propaganda against them (particularly by mainstream governments). It looks like PoW won't become "extinct" anytime soon.

ASIC miner producers are billion dollar companies. They are not going anywhere and keep releasing new miners.

In terms of POW altcoins like Kadena, you shouldn't mine them 24/7. Miners are always checking the most profitable coins at the moment. So you may buy an ASIC miner for BTC but switch it to Kadena for some time (can be even a few hours) once rewards are higher so you don't need to buy expensive equipment for alts only.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many new projects are now available for users for testing on: October 02, 2023, 03:43:43 PM
Regarding retrodrops and airdrops I still see some issues:
1. Most of them are not announced in advance and users should proceed with activities only based on rumors and you can't be 100% sure that something wouldn't go wrong. Many airdrop hunters expected a retrodrop from SUI and it ended being a waste of effort once it went public.
2.You need to pay the transaction fee with your own money at the time of activities. And if it is some kind of ETH L2, then these fees can be high, although you cannot be sure that you will not fail on some criteria or the retrodrop will take place at all.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bad Experience in Bitcoin Peer-to-Peer in CEX. on: September 28, 2023, 10:02:20 AM
I've got two advices:

1. Work only with sellers who have merchant account. They should have stability in their service and order cancellation for no reason will result in penalties for their account.

2. You can convert your BTC into stablecoins on spot whenever you want and then exchange them into fiat. This will help to avoid BTC fluctuations and buyer order cancellations.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are decentralized domains still a thing? on: September 28, 2023, 09:38:57 AM
One of the reasons of namecoin failed was that most people don't care on whether the domain they visit is centralized or not. Having a working solution is not enough to convince people to use it.

Also, I'm not sure is it really worth it. Not everything what is on blockchain is safe or having enhanced level of security and privacy. But in fact it would have almost the same cons as centralized domains do and authorities would now allow it to work out of their control.
17  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Q&A Exchange that trades Coin Futures on: September 28, 2023, 06:30:23 AM
I can recommend using ByBit. I am mainly using the inverse contracts to collect funding as it is an easy way of getting 10%+ APY for your USD holdings if you just buy the coin and short it on inverse contracts with x1 leverage. But generally, they got all necessary features for trading and a decent trading interface which makes it ok for daily usage.
18  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will The USD (and military) remain a Global force for at least 5 more years? on: September 28, 2023, 05:39:52 AM
I would give 10 years instead of 5.
IMO approximately in this time it will be no longer possible to increase debt ceiling and US will have to do something with the problem. There are two obvious solutions - cutting the welfare or implementation of VAT taxes. But it seems like none of this gonna happen because this will be a political suicide.

On the other hand we got stories with russian sanctions and chinese trade war. Countries with unclear relationships with the US will significantly decrease their USD reserves (I guess their reserves will have the same structure as their external trade) and it is not clear what US gonna do with released volumes.

But on the other hand, the US is the country where the entire world's economic science is concentrated. So if any solution is found, there's a high chance it's going to take place in the US.
19  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: I have a project, I expect your support. You can be a partner. on: September 28, 2023, 05:17:53 AM
I think you need to disclose the domain name as your potential partner should see if it is possible to do something in terms of seo optimization at the moment as if it is a brand new domain you gonna have to keep it for over a year to make it only appear ion search engines. This should be important since the you plan to earn on ads.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: The Kids buying Mcdonald order via BTC on: September 27, 2023, 02:36:36 PM
Finally, I think that if a large business like McDonalds starts accepting payments with Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies this information will be announced quite quickly through reliable sources. For this reason, I think this content isn't accurate as there are many questionable details about the current situation and it has not been verified by any reliable source.

Indeed. Also, I'm not quite sure the way how McDonald's could accept BTC since it is a fast food chain and the order should be paid fast as well and this is how you can spend a few hours in McDonald's just waiting for your transaction to get confirmation as none of the solutions (such as LN) was mentioned on the screenshots from the first post.
