IMMLA team! Where is the company headquartered? Is it in Singapore?

Hi OlegGichan,

We have rep ofce in Sigapore now, but not the headquarter. When ICO is done we're going to make Singapore our main jurisdiction

Smart choice! When will we be able to take a look at the DEMO version of the platform? On which development stage is it?

OBSIDIAN team! Your project looks promising.
BUT can you give some more information about the team of the project? And about long-term strategy.
Thanks.

Bitcoin is a kind of investment. You invest money, and of course, you loss money as well. I mean not all the time you are able to earn, there are times that you lose also. My highest bitcoin earning is ..5. It's quite big because I invest my money and my time as well.

Not sure about bitcoin investment. Personally, I see bitcoin as means of investment. Otherwise, it's just speculation...

Ambisafe Inc. finished an audit of the IMMLA Presale Token Smart Contract!

"Contract code is kept simple and as such increases confidence. There is only one external call from the contract which is sending ether to escrow account. Escrow account must be tested for the possibility of accepting ETH through a send() function, otherwise, if it will fail to receive ETH, all the collected funds will be locked", - states Ambisafe.

No places in code of Smart Contract were identified as critical issues.

Ambisafe? Ambiscam more like. They are responsible for many ICO scams including Orocrypt, Taas, Cryptocarbon, Polybius etc. I guess we can now add IMMLA to their multiple scam list then.

Moreover, Ambisafe is not a part of our team or our project. We worked with them only during the audit. During our work we suggested them as responsible people who value their reputation.

Our code is available on github. So you can check it, you can make your own audit.

So why use known & proven scammers to "audit" your code, like some kind of endorsement?

Sorry, as I wrote you, we didn't suggest Ambisafe as "scammers" during our work with them. They did an audit of our code, and that's all. It's your opinion, we have our own on basis of our experience of cooperation with Ambisafe.

Well, you can't rely solely on one company (like Ambisafe) to conduct some audit. Real investors perform proper due diligence of the project beforehand: financial model, team, how perspective an idea is, etc.
IMMLA, who are your main competitors?

Morning, IMMLA! I see you've already raised 1331 ETH . Quite promising...Is there a limit of ETH after which you'll close the pre-ICO stage?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Can’t Cryptocurrencies Replace FIAT? on: July 21, 2017, 10:36:01 AM
If FIAT Replaced the Gold Standard, Why Can’t Cryptocurrencies Replace FIAT?

History has shown that we have moved from the barter system to the gold standard and then to FIAT.  Is Cyptocuurency the next standard?

Have a look at my post, feedback appreciated, but please don't be too harsh.  I don't claim to be an economist or expert in this area.

https://urbancrypto.com/if-fiat-replaced-the-gold-standard-why-cant-cryptocurrencies-replace-fiat/

Nice article! Yes, cryptocurrencies will obsolete fiat much the same way the automobile obsoleted the horse and buggy. It's simply better money.
I am for cryptocurrencies in general and a year ago I thought that this is where the world is moving, this is how things will get done in the future. I think we all remember discussions about times when one could buy a cup of coffee or some goods in the supermarket and pay via bitcoin. Now nobody says such things because it is obviously impossible. Perhaps the currency which has chances to become new fiat is dogecoin, because it is cheap, safe and fast. But even a good currency can't become a part of everyday life yet. As the main point of currencies is decentralization, owners of online wallets, trade websites and markets are unknown. This leads the to temptation to steal of the money and disappear. Sometimes they get caught but mostly they aren't. I think that cryptos can replace fiat only by losing anonymity at least in important cases like with website owners. And they have to be regulated by laws so that owners of markets where people lost money really take full responsibility for that.

Sure in a short term cryptocurrencies won't completely replace fiat money, but it is higly possible in the future. For today banks, even government structures actively try to use blockchain technology. Some of them attempt to create their own cryptocurrencies or estalish some kind of control on existing ones. I think they'll figure out the way to take cryptocurrency under regulation and control.

Maybe not to get rich, but sure as hell to earn a decent amount of money with bitcoins.

How much money did you earn with bitcoins? Or did you lose some?
I've win some from gambling, I've lose some from gambling.
I have now zero bitcoins, my maximum amount collected from bitcoin is >0.001 btc as far as i remember
It's also my dream to keep bitcoin now to wait for it's maximum value before converting it to fiat money.

Mate its a very small amount to have and with that amount you cannot make huge money so if you want to make huge money then try to collect as many bitcoins as possible either by earning it or by buying it as more bitcoins will give you higher profits in future and can make you rich for sure.

Yes and I think gambling will just make you poor if you don't have skills or luck in this. So when you feel you lose some learn to quit the game. Instead of gambling try to trade or invest your coins, in this you can multiply what you have, it's not easy money but for sure you'll profit more and save more coins as possible. In this way maybe you can't be rich but at least you have a decent life.

Agree about investing. But luck is so tricky, do not rely solerly on it. And I think the same thing with cryptocurrency speculation.
There're ton's of interesting projects out there (and on this forum as well). Why not try investing in them some money you won't fear to lose?
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Proper Due Diligence (for INVESTORS) on: July 21, 2017, 08:39:08 AM
Morning, businessmen! Share your valuable experience in conducting proper due diligence of new and existing projects (what to look for in White Paper, about its team, etc.).

Thanks.
11  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptocurrency regulation? on: July 21, 2017, 08:16:06 AM
They will not replace fiat. There are many reasons.

But they will become the backbone of financial structure.

As far as regulation, it's nonsensical for the most part. First it's decentralized all over the world. It is peer regulated. Nearly every possible application of existing laws is for reasons that cryptos are immune to. The point of conversion is from fiat to crypto where regulation needs apply again. The other case is when cryptos are used in exchange for goods and services under the purview of a government - up until that time they are not no matter what lies Coin Center and know-it-all officials claim.

Consider this, once you have cryptos in a peer regulated system being used for liquidity of funds the government no longer needs to spend time and resources on them since they're immutable and essentially 51% attack impossible. That's ONE reason they aren't in the tax & regulation jurisdiction. (although illegally right now people claim they are)

maybe not replace fiat but they can lvie together side by side with any fiat currency just look at japan they have both their local currency and bitcoin living together with the same importance

i think yes altcoin need to be regulated if you want real adoption, otherwise many shop will simply not accept it,a nd it's the reason why amazon int he first palce is not accepting it

Yeah, agree about the fact that fiat money won't be replaced in the nearest future. But for the long term, there
s a good chance for it to happen. For fiat money means it is accepted as money because a government says that it’s legal tender, I think it's possible the government establishes some law or regulation on cryptocurrency and therefore admitting its national legality.
And then in some sense cryptocurrency may become part (perhaps, the main part) of fiat money.
12  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptocurrency regulation? on: July 20, 2017, 02:12:20 PM
No doubt about the future of fiat money: it's gonna be replaced by cryptocurrencies.
But does virtual money need a REGULATOR?

I would say no.  There's always ways around regulation.

Yeah, sure there're tons of ways. But centralised control always goes with huge transaction costs...
All in all, I think government's gonna be part of cryptocurrency world not total regulator.
13  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptocurrency regulation? on: July 20, 2017, 02:05:41 PM
I would say it's the opposite: fiat is based on trust, in other words perhaps intimidation, that's why some countries can print money with little negative effect. The future of cryptocurrency will be its trustless systems.

You mean people won't trust cryptocurrency or won't have to?
14  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: July 20, 2017, 11:43:53 AM
Choosing the best way for steady income depends on how much money you have and save each month.
Seems like you are a busy person - try using some investment funds / your intelligent friend-trader. Yeah, it's not easy to find smth worthy, but the future benefits are high if you do spend some time on it.
BUT if you can afford to take some risk, I highly recommend investing in start-ups. Sure, you've heard about ICO and stuff. Lots of interesting projects out there (any many scams).
Conducting serious due-diligence of these projects (or paying someone for it) is like a gold stick for investor.

15  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Cryptocurrency regulation? on: July 20, 2017, 10:57:53 AM
The concept of cryptocurrencies is based on trust. If it is fully implemented in all aspects, there is trust within the community and technical solutions applied to provide the security of network, then there will be no need for centralised control.

Got your point. But what about security? I constantly hear about hackers who steel tons of investor's money...

And goverment won't give up its influence easily. USA, Canada and some european countries tend to establish their rules on cryptocurrencies.
