1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Luna CEO summoned by lawmakers on: May 18, 2022, 02:30:10 PM
I think he maybe caught in some hidden games that led Luna to crash because there are many Luna released to the market. How did that come about if not that it was a game played. Will this be more troubles for Kwon?

I do believe the hidden story is not yet revealed. How the hell they can stop or halt the blockchain and they were refusing to do that and let people to pay the hyper inflation coin with their money. I do believe if that will be more trouble for kwon. The regulators are taking the action and im sure that even when there are so many US citizens that lost their money and that will make SEC to join in the game and they will be investigating this problem.
I hope that we will see the real story behind it and justice will be there. This is hurting so many people and ruining their lifes

yeah you're right, if he tried to fix it they should be able to stop the network and stop printing luna during yesterday's crash. but in reality they were silent and seemed to let everything happen. and what irritates me even more is CEO luna refusing all suggestions and help from other people. he was too confident that he could solve the problem. but look today luna and UST have become shit coins. I hope this person is prosecuted and gets a severe punishment for this matter.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New LUNA vs. Classic LUNA on: May 18, 2022, 10:09:04 AM
Does anyone have good info on the new proposed LUNA vs. classic LUNA?

The latest info I know is that the majority are against the new coin. And it's possible that the proposal will be rejected. After all, Do Kwon is in trouble in Korea, this week he was summoned to attend a parliamentary session. for now the government has only just heard an explanation from him, but it is possible that he will be prosecuted considering the many victims of this problem.
3  Economy / Economics / Re: If inflation is rising, why isn't crypto more valuable now? on: May 17, 2022, 03:58:41 PM
My question is why isn't crypto rising in price if inflation on major Fiat currencies have soared like crazy? Am I missing something here? It's a shame since Bitcoin was long hailed to be a safe-haven asset like Gold. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Smiley

Interest rates play an important role today. and crypto in the bearish trend cycle. so This is the answer for your question. To suppress inflation, the Fed increased interest rates gradually starting last month. at the same time the crypto market is in a bear trend, so people are more interested in investing elsewhere than buying crypto which is clearly down.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will LUNA's downfall scare away investors from the crypto market? on: May 17, 2022, 11:24:30 AM

Do you think LUNA's downfall will scare away investors from the crypto market? If not, why? Is there light at the end of the tunnel for the whole crypto/Blockchain industry? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley

I think it won't scare investors who want to buy crypto. but on the other hand there will be long-term impacts such as regulation. It's undeniable that for the past few days everyone's attention has been on the Luna problem, and that's why this could be an excuse for the government to make regulations.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are decentralized stablecoins a failed experiment? on: May 17, 2022, 04:24:57 AM
if you look at what happened to UST, yes it was a big failure. and maybe because of this problem regulators will tighten their oversight of stablecoins in the future. this will give concern to everyone that stablecoins are not really stable and there will always be a possibility of de-peg in the future.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to put money in ETH? on: May 14, 2022, 04:42:52 AM
Is it a good time to put some money into eth, or is it falling more?

if you see the trend is still bearish, and you definitely understand what will happen in the future. buying/investing when it's bear, will only make him worry. the price keeps dropping and your investment loses. so better wait for the situation to get better. my advice is better to keep waiting until it's actually in dip.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 8 Suicides Have Been Confirmed Because of the $Luna Crash. Why did Luna crash? on: May 13, 2022, 11:17:13 AM
As the crypto market grow, these type of incidence really effect the market. I think strong project are on the stack now as trust on the ecosystem of strong projects like DOT, ETH and BNB are on the verge of crumbling. But it's a matter of life of death when it comes to all in your life savings. Share your thoughts how you would improvise your portfolio?

for me the luna problem is very different and very rare. it's not about trust, but there is a gap in their ecosystem. and that's the thing that ruined this project. the problem started because UST is not backed by USD, terra uses luna and bitcoin coins for the underlying. which is a fatal thing because it is very unstable. but one thing we can get right now is, there is no stablecoin that is really stable in the crypto market.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who will be the next ? Waves? on: May 13, 2022, 05:39:22 AM
Waves have been on the market for a long time so there are loyal investors who are willing to buy and hold waves. Luna, on the other hand, is a new coin with a lot of promise but right now no one wants to buy it. I do not think there will be another instant death from the top 100 cryptocurrency

yes you are right, after all the case of luna and UST are different. their main problem is the absence of a real 1:1 backed. from the start maybe UST didn't have backed, and that's why when there was a big selloff they couldn't return the peg. in the end it's a real ponzi project, made for just a moment's profit.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen to LUNA? on: May 12, 2022, 12:24:42 PM
What are your thoughts on LUNA? What will happen in the next 24 hours? Will it go to 0 or up?

as long as luna is still being printed continuously, the price will fall to the bottom. maybe the price will actually be lower than the Shiba inu. luna and UST are diseases in the crypto market this time. these two coins had a huge influence in the market crash. this project is dead, there is no more hope for luna.
10  Economy / Economics / Re: The main harm of existing “Stablecoins” is not controlled emission on: May 12, 2022, 06:40:31 AM
The main harm of existing “Stablecoins” is not controlled emission, but, accordingly, inflation.
Today, anyone can create a demon of control-print their “Stablecoins” thereby increasing the total issue of the financial bubble, what do you think?

yes I agree with you, they are easily printed without any backed. and the result is a crash when things get out of hand. this is what is happening now to UST, the price is falling because there is no backed to recover the price. the UST team only uses Luna as a workaround, which this solution makes it even worse. the price of luna fell as a result because it continued to be printed to cover the shortage of UST.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is ever the right time. on: May 11, 2022, 12:18:46 PM
I planned to buy some altcoins now that we are in a bear market but someone I knew is telling me not to, that its possible more dumps will take place, my question is how will I know when it's the right time to buy coins?

very easy, you just need to look at the price of bitcoin and its dominance. if the price of bitcoin goes up, and dominance goes down, that's a sign the market will reversal. buy it when it happens, but if not better don't buy anything. what your friend said is very accurate, so follow his advice.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What a bear market actually looks like on: May 11, 2022, 11:39:00 AM
Bear market haven't even started yet, if you know how ugly a bear market gets you won't be buying altcoins right now, how many altcoins have died so far due to bear market? None right? Well let me tell you, a bear market is a death bringer for altcoins, all those meme coins and shitcoins that you are eyeing won't live to see the end of the bear market, its always so painful for altcoins to stay alive at such season.

You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet.

what about LUNA, isn't what happened to this coin a result of a bear market. and apecoin, fantom, axie and more. these coins are ruined because of the bear market this time. and you still think the bear market hasn't started yet? What do you want the market to be like until you realize that we are in the middle of a bear market right now.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Terra Luna bringing the whole market down? on: May 10, 2022, 10:21:53 AM
We know algorithmic stablecoins are new and risky. UST is backed by Luna, and the foundation behind Luna bought so much Bitcoin I believe they're now amongst the top 10 holders.

If UST loses its peg against the dollar and Luna isn't enough to bring it back up, the foundation will have to sell some of its BTC to keep the peg, which applies sell pressure on BTC and brings it down along with the whole crypto market.

Is this what's happening now already?

this is a domino effect of implementing stablecoins that are backed bitcoin. during bull markets we will never realize this, but during market crashes like today. we see clearly stablecoins turning into unstable coins. as you said everything is interconnected and the effect is a downturn in the crypto market.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the next move on: May 10, 2022, 07:28:01 AM
Is the free fall over or this level won't hold for long either?.

all the analyzes I made concluded that the bear trend is still not over. I see not only the crypto market, but gold, forex, and stocks are also experiencing a decline. this is what made me think that bitcoin could get worse. as long as the global economic situation has not improved, it will be very difficult for the entire market to recover.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worth investing? on: May 09, 2022, 04:35:26 PM
Does it makes sense to target layer 1 scalable projects with web3 integrated? I know that layer 1 aren't that good anymore or let me say almost dead hype but what about those that want to integrate web 3.0? For example Oasis Network.
If what you're talking about is a new project, I don't think it's feasible now. because layer 1 networks are already dominated by big platforms like ethereum, bnb, or solana. maybe the project thrives, but in the end it will only be an altcoin that gets less attention.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin whales on: May 09, 2022, 08:35:45 AM
A lot of us are confused about the whales behind the altcoin blockchain, for the fact that the ethereum blockchain brought with it the ability for any programmer to make change to the blockchain which has given birth to several developments and new coins, tokens creation so the question is who are the whales behind the altcoin market development.

Changpeng Zhao also known as CZ, is the pope behind all altcoins. CZ with the exchange he owns (binance) plays an important role in controlling the altcoin situation. Just imagine that every altcoin listed on Binance will experience a pump and the delisted altcoin will fall in price. binance has a huge impact on the altcoin market today. that's why he is the important person behind altcoins
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STEPN Project Should we Enter Now or Exit on: May 08, 2022, 08:37:11 PM
I suggest getting exit. not only at STEPN, but all projects in the nft industry from mana, sand, axie, ape and all other nft projects. a bear market will render the entire nft project worthless. so if you want to join now better undo your intention. you can see from the current price of the coin. axs, mana, ape, and sand fell very deep. gmt is also no exception, This coin continues to decline.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which is better: Ethereum or the Binance Smart Chain? on: May 08, 2022, 11:16:45 AM
Which is a better platform? Ethereum or the Binance Smart Chain? Please explain why.

when it comes to decentralization, ethereum is superior. but if you look at the transaction fees, binance smart chain wins. if binance smart chain used POW consensus, maybe Bsc could be ethereum's toughest rival or even outperform it. that's why ethereum is still the best at this time.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best coins to buy in bear market on: May 07, 2022, 08:51:11 PM
there are no good coins in a bear market. I prefer stablecoins and staking until the market really recovers. because whatever you buy in the bear market is not profitable. wouldn't it be better to keep holding stablecoins until the market is better. I'm the type of person who buys when the trend is confirmed, rather than trying buy in dip which is very hard to do.
20  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen if Tesla decided to sell its Bitcoin? on: May 07, 2022, 12:51:33 PM
for the short term there will be a big dump. but no long term impact. I don't think they're all stupid, they will sell gradually and announce all of it after they finish selling it. so no one realizes that they have sold their bitcoins. and when the announcement is published there will be a momentary dump.
