Even if the address is known, is it possible to find the responsible party and retrieve the funds? I also ask because I lost a significant sum of VERI and I know the address to which it was sent. Maybe there is hope? Needless to say, it's been tough watching the price skyrocket! Hi Khylst, would you mind sharing more of the specifics about how you lost the VERI... how were you scammed into sending it to the thieves' address? I'm new to cryptos and am here to learn. If we can learn from you ... that would be awesome! Thank you Reluctantly I'll admit I fell victim to a phishing attack, which is strange because I'm usually very careful when it comes to not clicking links in emails. The email came in the form of a slackbot notification which linked to a phony MyEtherWallet site, so I entered my private key and less than a minute later my wallet was empty. You should only access MEW from your bookmarks, and I know this, so I can only blame myself for being so careless. Wait so what Reggie calls advanced Hackers, was the MEW slack phishing scam? You're joking right? He also claimed they thwarted 2FA.

https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=TRC_BTC#I can't post a picture, but I don't even see an order at 0.00003000, or gather where you are getting the 25% gone from since how would you differentiate multiple sellers at that price? I would think you'd be tracking an address being sold out. Can you kindly verify for me where you are getting this idea that a singular whale is selling at at 0.00003000, and how you are figuring out 25% has been sold? Thanks Like clockuniverse said, you can see the wallets on depth/dist on cryptopia. We saw them put up a large sell wall, so we know how much they originally had, and that they are selling down and what the current value of that wallet is. Do we have an exact address? nope, its on the exchange. But all the proof is there if you have time to stare at the charts. No, you cannot see "wallets" on Cryptopia. At best you can see particular orders. I've looked at the depth charts and never seen this "whale". I am quickly losing faith in this coin... It is amateurish to make up reasons/blame 1 entity for the price action. Perhaps you can provide screenshots of this huge order? It certainly doesn't exist whenever I've looked. If someone can't post proof, than I have to think this is a hype/excuse coin trying only to capture the "masternode" angle with leaders who are spending most of their time hyping the coin and making up fantasy stories about "whales". No, you cannot see "wallets" on Cryptopia. At best you can see particular orders. I've looked at the depth charts and never seen this "whale".
http://imgur.com/a/buR87As you can see, the dist (the wallet underneath the depth chart) shows an account with just over 1.4 million. That used to be a larger amount. If you want to believe its hype/excuse, thats up to you. Most of us know whats been happening the last couple weeks, and watch the market. Ok, ummmmm you're wrong. Super wrong, and bordering on being purposefully misleading. The point in the chart you are referring to is actually the DEPTH of BUY orders for TRC. NOT a seller's WALLET! AT ALL. It is a bid order for a million at 1 satoshi. PRICE QUANTITY TOTAL (BTC) Sum (BTC) 0.00000001 1000000.00000000 0.01000000 23.26865402 This could be a decent coin, but honesty and transparency are paramount, and I can't tell if you're just confused or being manipulative. 0.00000003 2000266.66666667 0.06000800 11.43110637 0.00000002 50000.00000000 0.00100000 11.43210637 0.00000001 1000000.00000000 0.01000000 11.44210637 where is the 2 million at 0.00000003 then? Highest listed is about 1.4mil in the dist chart. You're reading it wrong. I apologize, I'm incorrect. Did not realized that beneath the Order Book distribution was descending wallets. Thanks everyone. Long live TRC. Thanks for the patience everyone.

"Then the price started to drop hard and I checked the whales balance and it was slowly going down."
Thanks for the answer. By the above you mean you saw the amount being sold decrease? How are you able to check this balance?
Also, isn't there a rich list? Can't you figure out which address transferred 2M to crytopia to be sold?

"This current whale is basically doing it in the most harmful way (by selling at a 3000 sats and keeping it that way, instead of slow dripping the sale, or dumping completely), and we are still slowly eating him away. We have already gotten through over 25% of his holdings." Can you show the address the coins are coming from? Thanks

5000 a masternode, I disagree with the change. Once the price doubles you'd have the same cost issue. At a whim you make it 50% less, to create "democracy". Why not just peg the masternode to a $XXXX cost instead, if the goal is democratic ownership. Oh, yeah, that devalues owning masternodes. Which is what you just did anyway. Was this voted on in slack?

Will do. Is it possible for me to join the Foundation? I'm unfortunately not a dev, but I'm not looking for free coins, just looking to lend some time to helping the project. I'm an avid crypto enthusiast and am really drawn to Terracoin. Also, in your signature banner Instant Send is also misspelled .

Long time watcher here. Is there a way I can help? I've noticed a couple typos on the website. E.g. "instant sent", instead of "instant send."
