I'm now mining on http://lite.coin-pool.com  I hope it is just a technical problem as I still have a few litecoins sitting on my burnside account.  It would be nice to get an update

Same problem here, web page is not loading.  I think it's time to reboot the server

The automatic payment of 5 litecoins I set up on burnsides pool has stopped working. So I increased it to 8 and now I see my balance on burnside is 8.8  What could be stopping the automatic payment from working ??

6  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How fast will ASIC prices fall? on: June 06, 2013, 03:26:53 PM
I also think it's difficult to calculate ROI when you don't know when the ASIC is going to arrive and the other factor is the difficulty which will be influenced by any significant increase in hashing power.  At the end of the day we are all competing for a limited number of coins with faster and faster hardware.  As new faster ASICs are produced and sold the old ones will fall in price, the speed at which the price of the old ones falls will depend on how quickly the new ASICs are produced, sold and come online.  The only constant is change.   I think it's really unfair that companies are not delivering goods in a timely fashion as a few months can make the difference between profit and loss.

cgminer has been working great for me to, I started on bitcoin but have moved to litecoin as it seems to be more profitable.  It did take a while to get the settings just right so that it mined at a decent rate.

The only good use of very very small fraction of a bitcoin is to help get someone understand how to use their wallet and I think if you are a newbie (like me) it's pretty cool to see something even if next to nothing come into your newly created bitcoin wallet Smiley

I only wish I had registered on this forum before spending hours reading so much.  I should be on 24 hrs but did not realise I needed to clock up 4hrs to send messages.  Well only one and a half to go Smiley
