Thanks. I have used that one, but my wallet still keeps crashing... What port should I use?

Can somebody please tell me what the correct rpcport is? 8858 vs. 8555? Also, I need a working addnode list.

I'm running version 0.14.1.6. Syncing starts up fine, but some minutes after the wallet simply crashes. Every time I start the wallet, it starts at block zero all over again. I have tried changing listen=0 to 1 to no effect. I'm wondering if I'm using the correct addnode addresses and rpcport. I've heard some addresses may crash the wallet, is that true?

Thanks for the info, t3ChNo and gliridian. I'll look at the announcement post then. One other thing would be how to wear the signature. Does it have to be a standard one? I see there are some variations...

Hello, there. Congrats on a great project! I'm pretty new here, so I'm wondering how a "quality post" is set apart from others. Is there any specific criteria?

Quick question. What is the use of bios modding the card, if you can set extra launch parameters in Claymore? Don't these override the former?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ¤ DMD Diamond 3.0 | Scarce ¤ Valuable ¤ Secure | PoS 3.0 | Masternodes 65% on: October 15, 2017, 02:28:05 AM
I was successful to compile DMDV3 on my raspberry pi 3 with Raspbian OS.

First I followed that guide until 'make install':
https://diamond-info.github.io/raspberry2.html

and after that i continued with that guide at point #17:
https://diamond-info.github.io/raspberry.html

Jessie is necessary, Stretch is not working.

Wallet is running headless and in stalking is already active.

Thanks guys for the guides.
I was able to follow the steps!

Cheers

I updated the information, plus add a new article:

Dmdv3 wallet compilation guide for raspberry pi (headless mode), october 2017
Dmdv3 wallet compilation guide for raspberry pi (headless mode), october 2017, version 2
Dmd v3 wallet masternode on raspberry pi 2 model b (version: 1.0 - 10.10.2017 - pazor)

Hi, the.clumsy. I'm glad the guide worked for you. As a side note, future users please make sure you follow the Pi Compilation Guide version #2 (with EXACTLY 28 steps, not 26 nor 21). You can find it at the link below:

I don't like current PoS/MN. I lose a lot of DMD as compared to the previous version. Why? If I'm away from home for a long time (vacation, work) any power failure, automatic updates (win10) or problem with the router is my enemy.
Maybe consider paying for a VPS service?

Someone here asked repeatedly for information on running DMD wallet on the Raspberry pi.
I received received the user manual and converted it into html document.
https://diamond-info.github.io/raspberry.html

Thanks for this manual  Smiley

Haha, that someone might have been me Wink

Thank you for the manual, I will give it a shot!

I followed the manual, step by step. Until Point #15 everything worked well.

./autogen.sh is already creating some errors I do not understand, cause directory is there! Subdir-objects?
make command at the end doesn't work, cause there is no make file??

What does that mean? Maybe someone can help?

I think you should wait for a response from pazor_true it's his material
also here the second version - https://diamond-info.github.io/raspberry2.html

Yes, the reason there is no make file is because config wasn't able to complete the necessary tasks. It seems you have a potential Berkeley DB version conflict. We are working on this and will release an updated guide, please bear with us. In the meantime, we need your feedback to guide us on the correct path. There are now many Raspberry Pi models and that makes compilation sometimes finicky.

I am happy if I can help in some way. really complicated material  Shocked  Wink

To all Raspberry Pi owners, we would like to inform that an updated version of the DMDv3 Wallet Compilation Guide for Raspberry Pi (Headless Mode) has been released. You can find it at:

https://github.com/LIMXTEC/DMDv3/pull/36/commits/72160f88fae95fdbc117086e70686c7c92211f8c

This fixes some issues and includes Berkeley DB4.8 to increase wallet portability. Right now, we need volunteers to test the guide. Please note that Raspbian Jessie Lite is the recommended OS.

I would like to mention helmut for his support on Slack, and for publishing the guide on github.

Thank you for your patience and please leave feedback so we can improve things as necessary.

How can I attach a message here at bitcointalk?
Make an account, login then, hit reply in the lower right to make a comment
To insert a picture, code  or a link use the buttons where you type a message.
For a picture, upload the picture to Imgur.com or a similar service. Then, copy and paste the
direct link to the picture. Highlight the link with your cursor and click the insert image button
If unsure, you can always click "quote" on a message similar to what you want to do and see how they did it.

Thank you so much, woody.

Hello,

I'm the one responsible for the guide. I'm sorry you have encountered some compilation problems. May I ask which Pi model and Raspbian version you are running?

I'm reviewing your error messages and will get back to you ASAP. At any event, could you please wait a couple of more days? Reason being we'll be updating the guide to account for greater wallet portability across different systems.

Need some serious help with my masternode. I set it up yesterday, and it had passed the sentinel test (I could visualize my node at Masternodes.pro map). However, today my MN was down. When I issued masternodes status, I got the watchdog expired error message. So, I decided to rerun the sentinel test, and now I'm getting the following errors (it's a Linux clinet, by the way):

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: September 15, 2017, 07:52:13 PM
If I boot SMOS with my RX580 card connected (HDMI out via GPU card), the booting process stops midway. However, if I boot without the card, the process goes along further, but eventually stops, giving me the following error:  "there is no screen to be attached matching miner". Any advice will be much appreciated.

I totally agree. The devs don't seem to care for this coin. I keeps sinking and does not have any features to support itself. Making "taxi" software will do absolutely no good either. How can we say the coin looks promising?
