1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I sell BSV? on: October 03, 2024, 08:01:24 PM
Thanks guys, I ended up using Simple Swap which was suggested by another user and it all worked out.

If anyone else is looking to get rid of their BSV, I recommend Simple Swap. It wouldn't be my exchange of choice under normal circumstances, but better that than nothing. Cheers.

Okay.

I just realized that simple swap works for USA after all so I that may have just solved my problem. Thank you very much!

I think Tether is probably a better idea. Here is my Tether address: 0x2207B9B3a61C22c014FCeb4213fC81eb35d08e90

Let me know when you are ready and I can send.

What a cool idea for a thread. I myself am a professional poker player. I currently mostly play 5 tables of 100NL with a mixture of 200NL and 50NL when games are good or dry. This is definitely possible with good bankroll management. I would advise away from the meme coins, because they tend to suck, but if you stick it out in poker you can go far.

Cash games in my experience are really the cash cow for making money. If you want to do a long shot, I would advise putting some money in a tournament rather than a meme coin, because you'll have way more control over the outcome. Freerolls are great for building a bankroll, but once you get that going, I'd go heavy into cash games, but that's just me.

Last month I made over $6,000 from Poker myself after 75,000+ hands with over 172+ hours of play. If you grind hard and with mental discipline, you can go far.

If Bitcoin surges in the next year or so it could take quite a long time, but also the opposite could happen and it would make the goal more achievable. Good luck on your journey sir.

I am in the USA and it is hard to sell BSV because it is not listed on exchanges. I would like to send someone the coin and then they send me money to Paypal or some cheap Crypto that is American friendly like Dogecoin. I'd prefer for you to have an established trust score with a good track record.

7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Where can I sell BSV? on: October 02, 2024, 09:03:18 PM
I have a BSV coin and I'd like to sell it. Unfortunately it is delisted on KuCoin and I live in the US. Seems like there aren't many exchanges US friendly that will accept it.

How do you change your profile Nickname? The "save changes" option is faded out and is unclickable for some reason.

Polymath pumped. My small amount of coins that were too cheap to move became massive. Sold all of it. Read about Polymath here:

Complete air project, yet people have dumped money into it recently. Glad I got out while I could.
10  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How long does Hitbtc have withdraws offline? on: March 09, 2021, 11:08:46 AM
Long ago, I bought Polymath off of KuCoin exchange, but since they delisted it I moved it to HitBTC. Polymath had been delisted from KuCoin for some time, even passed the deadline if I recall correctly. I guess support felt bad and gave me my coins anyway so I have a soft spot in my heart for KuCoin. I also know that KuCoin is located in Hong Kong and not a mystery place.

I emailed a bunch and was polite in my emails talking about my ticket. Polymath opened up and shortly after that my KYC was verified. I was able to withdraw my Polymath. My account will close in 14 days given that I am from the US. I also grabbed my doge coins too. I had 80 Litecoin cash which I wasn't able to withdraw, but that is pennies. I dumped everything else for profit and I am very pleased. It was quite stressful, but I am glad it is finally over.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I don't understand Ethereum on: March 04, 2021, 05:32:37 PM
Thanks guys. It was the lack of gas in my wallet. That was a nightmare of an experience, because I was rushing to get rid of my Polymath before it tanks. I suppose it could moon, but yeah. I calmed the fuck down and was able to think more clearly. I assumed the gas was taken out of the wallet when I send it automatically like how it happens with Bitcoin. Learned something new today and happily got my money.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I don't understand Ethereum on: March 04, 2021, 04:52:20 PM
I have a swap that says "failed". Not sure how to check any lower Nonces. I don't think there are any, because it would alert me right?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I don't understand Ethereum on: March 04, 2021, 04:49:38 PM
I am using Metamask.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I don't understand Ethereum on: March 04, 2021, 04:47:16 PM
Maybe I messed something up. Here is the transaction:

https://etherscan.io/tx/0x91faaf0bf6a308295a69686fcd0d248854838d32cc4853415a4b10d9ae3160d5

I went to compound.finance then I clicked on ether in supply. I clicked withdraw. Then I clicked max. Then I clicked withdraw. I set the gas to 152 and it has been stuck for over an hour.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / I don't understand Ethereum on: March 04, 2021, 04:15:03 PM
I have a transaction pending with 152 Gwei. Wtf. Instant transaction my ass. I put a higher amount than ASAP on https://ethgasstation.info/ and more than high on Etherscan. I don't understand why my transaction isn't going through.

I had to cancel my first transaction, because it wasn't going through fast enough, but didn't have enough gas so I couldn't cancel it. Grabbed my Ethereum from Compound because I needed to get gas. Couldn't get that because the first transaction wasn't going through. First transaction eventually failed on its own. Now I'm withdrawing from Compound at 152 Gwei which is slightly more than the fastest transactions on all the sites. On Etherscan it says Estimated Confirmation Duration: < 45 secs, but has already been 30+ minutes. What am I doing wrong? Please help me. This is a time sensitive issue.
17  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How long does Hitbtc have withdraws offline? on: March 02, 2021, 05:34:04 AM
This is crazy. How can an exchange exist without anybody knowing where it is? Wouldn't credit card payments or bank transfers create a money trail? Has nobody decided to do detective work to figure this out? I never knew this was possible to create a website and be able to anonymously collect money without a trail. I remember somebody recommending Hitbtc has a secure exchange. I don't remember ever hearing anything bad about it, but now it seems everywhere.
18  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How long does Hitbtc have withdraws offline? on: February 26, 2021, 07:20:52 AM
Too late. I already did the KYC and now they know I'm US. I figured they already knew because trading was restricted, but I guess I'm out 5 grand. Well now only 2.5 grand because it has shrunk since then. I'll let you know if they eventually let me withdraw, but I won't hold my breath.

They didn't previously restrict US people, that was later, but I never received an email.

Does anybody know where this exchange is located or how to find out?
19  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: What is the most secure device to store Bitcoin? on: February 25, 2021, 10:33:34 AM
Another way is to go to bitaddress.org. Go offline. Print out a paper wallet or a few if the amount is substantial and move them to safe locations. Bitcoin thieves are computer geeks and less likely to use brute force. Just don't tell anybody about where you store them.

I think diversifying where you store your coins is good, but paper wallets are the most secure in my opinion.
20  Economy / Exchanges / Re: How long does Hitbtc have withdraws offline? on: February 25, 2021, 06:04:43 AM
Yeah, the coin is under "investigation" whatever the fuck that means. It pumped hard less than 24 hours ago and now I can't withdraw it. I have to watch as my worthless Polymath coin dwindles to nothing.

Why do you have to do that? HitBTC is only suspending Polymath's withdrawal but only its withdrawal. Everything else related to Polymath seems open. Polymath deposit is allowed as well as its transfer and trading. So if you want to take profit from your Polymath, why don't you try to trade it with BTC or ETH or USDT if you wish?

Well, I'm looking at HitBTC's system monitor only.

I'm located in the US, which does not allow trading.
