1  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [115 Th] 50BTC.com - PPS|Stratum+Vardiff|Port 80|QIWI,Yandex,Mobile,WM... on: November 06, 2013, 02:03:52 AM
I highly doubt they will payout the remaining balances because 1. the balances were off and 2. they lost a lot of bitcoin. It will be a nightmare to get this all corrected unless they restore the balances from a backup and agree to pay out at a loss and potentially have duplicate payouts. They will more than likely set everyone to 0 and say sorry wont happen again and hope people go back to mining with them. Sucks pretty hard too I've lost over 4btc.

the thing that REALLY sucks about that is.. ok so i can accept that whatever balance was between last successful payout until they got hacked were stolen. I don't like it, but that just might be the way it is. But after the hack, they did not let us know that things were stolen. They made it sound like they were going to get the balances adjusted and would be back up. So i stayed with them for 5 days afterwards. All the while getting a "new" balance. Now ok, so my old balance was stolen. But I KEPT WORKING, they KEPT FINDING BLOCKS. Why not at LEAST pay us the reward from THOSE BLOCKS. Is that how we get rewarded for being loyal and trying to stay with them in hard times? "oh well tough tits kiddo, stuff was stolen, and we refuse to pay you what you helped us earn after the hack."

I really hope I am just being cynical. I honestly hope that they will at least realize we should be paid what we earned after the hack. Anything anyone fairly earned after they TOLD US.. that they were SWITCHING US to DGM and made it seem like we were making progress forward. Otherwise it feels like "oh well sorry hackers stole from you guys, we're gonna steal the rest from you cuz we don't want to be stuck getting stolen from".

I honestly hope that things will get sorted out, and I would actually like to see the pool backup and running again. But I guess at this point, only time will tell.
