I get an assertion failure line 436 with kernel.cpp expression pindex-> pprev||pindex-> getblockhash()==(!if testnet? hashGenesisBlock:hash GenesisBlocktestnet
Happens when I try to open the wallet., reinstall didnt seem to make a difference to a new directory.. thoughts?
Update - Deleted files as suggested now seems to be updating fine and can start it up!

Sorry , for clarity that's what I'm doing now, will revert back to confirm it fixes, which is expected since it is a new wallet, new install. Update - New install of client received coins, wallet unlocked for staking only and no crashes, but no minting yet due to coins being immature..

Bittrex down for wallet maint, easiest fix seems to be 1) install latest wallet onto new machine, send coins there, uninstall from old machine, remove wallet, reinstall, resend coins back to first reinstalled wallet..

Patch didnt work, not long after unlocking wallet it crashes as before.. so I think next move is the bittrex transfer

I have some blue coin in QT wallet but they are not staking and it says coins are not mature, how long does it usually take for coins to mature? or if its been a few days and still says this is this indicative of a problem?

I would appreciate some guidance, i have wallet 1.3.1.1, I downloaded the 1.1.3.2 unzipped into the same directory but when I click help and about it still shows 1.3.1.1, how can I confirm the upgrade occurred ok?
thanks!
Anyone else see the same thing? I see the same as you, BlueCoiner probably didn't change the value yet to .2* I also upgraded and see the 1.3.1.1* value. Thanks Ron, lad its not user error this time I do note though when you unlock and tick unlock for proof of stake only it shows as unlocked for all.. is this by design? i thought it might say unlocked for proof of stake only..

What effect does underlying price fluctuations of bullions have on the object backed by it, in this case coins? does each bigcoin increase in value if say gold jumped over night, or would it mean you get less bullion for coin when exchanged..
I guess I'm wondering if underlying price of metals goes up would this push up value of coins..
|
|
|
Thanks yes, I've seen standown period and you can exchange how is par value calculated? 1 coin = what in what bullion, also mentions a handling fee but not what that fee is.
|
|
|
Is it correct to say at some point you can convert coins to metal? if so how would this work and at what ratio? ie 15 coins to 1 ounce of something? 1:1?

found this update on an exchange "SPATA back online - trade at your own risk A premine has been found and has been confirmed by us. At this point, we have re-opened the market and will leave it to the community to decide the value and fate of the coin.. The wallet will continue to be open if you wish to withdraw your coins."
