1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Galactrum [ORE] :: Autonomous :: Self-Governed :: Voting :: Masternodes :: on: June 04, 2018, 02:30:23 PM
Hello, how can I restore/recover the Galactrum Wallet? My PC just crashed and I need to reinstall Windows. Is there a file or files that I have to copy/move after I fresh install the wallet?

Sorry for asking this question, but I have searched everywhere for 3 days and can't find the answer.

Where do you get a BTG address and/or Wallet?

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Z170 Z170A BIOS setting 7 GPU mining success on: August 17, 2017, 08:35:06 PM
I have a rig with 6 AMD RX470, Asus Prime Z270-A Motherboard and Windows Pro 10 (64). I am gettin 19.8 Mh/s per card mining ethereum. My other RX470 rig gets 21.9 Mh/s. Same cards, same brand, different hash rates.

There is something wrong with the 19.8 Mh/s rig, because Claymore does not report the temperature and fan velocity of the cards. Also sometimes the pc freezes and MSI Afterburner does not work. Can't figure out where is the problem. Card driver is 171.1024. The rig with 21.9 Mh/z hashrate has Driver 162.4

Can the problem be in the card driver? If so, how do I uninstall and install the correct driver?

You need to install Windows 10 in UEFI mode. I had the same problem and fixed it that way.

I already tested all cards independently ;-)
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / RIG ONLY RECOGNIZES UP TO FOUR RX470 - HELP! on: July 30, 2017, 08:17:59 PM
I am building a new rig, using an Asus Prime Z270-A mainboard plus 6 Gigabyte Radeon RX470 4GB video cards. However, so far only four cards are detected by Windows 10. When I connect the fifth one, it does not show in Device Manager (Windows 10 Uefi mode). Also, the fans on that card won't stop, what makes me suspect there is something wrong. I have above 4G enabled, also Gen 2 in the Bios. I changed the usb riser but still the same. I am using a SATA HD, don't know if that will be the issue since I have another rig with 6 GTX1070 using a solid state HD that was a breeze to setup.

UEFI mode did it, thanks so much! Grin Roll Eyes
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Azus Z270-A with 7 GTX1060 not working - crashes-HELP! on: July 16, 2017, 02:43:37 PM
Hello,
I am just starting with my first rig:

Asus Prime Z270-A Motherboard
Asus Geforce (Strix) GTX1060 6GB x 7
Windows Pro 10 (64)

I started with only one GPU and then added the other GPUs one by one. I went up to the sixth one with no problems, all recognized by Windows and mining with Claymores miner. When I try to add the 7th GPU Windows crashes (blue screen) everytime after I login to Windows.

What seems to be the problem? I have the latest driver from Nvidia and the latest bios for the Z270. I also changed the risers and cables.

Any input is welcome! Undecided Huh
