1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: August 19, 2021, 07:19:01 AM
I have 1070 cards, what is the best miner for Ethereum with these cards?
These video cards are no longer overclocked, the average hash rate is 27-29 megahash.
https://2miners.com/blog/best-ethereum-mining-software-for-nvidia-and-amd/
"The only open-source mining software Ethminer came third. It doesn’t charge a developer’s fee, so hashrates in the program and in the pool are almost identical with a 0.01% difference. As you can see, if mining software is free, it doesn’t mean that you get more profit. If you choose Gminer or T-rex, you gain more."

Thank you. I am using Gminer.

I have 1070 but with this miner I get only 18 mh for ethereum.
Can I get around 30 mh with this miner if I set it up correctly?

try this set

memory +500
core +100
power 85%-90%

I tried, but hashrate is the same, 18 mh per card with Phoenix miner.

Two good exchanges in one day.
DeepOnion will make your dreams real   Grin Grin Grin

This is very nice. I am staking some onions and it is nice to hear this kind of progress as it is reaching out more markets. Maybe in the very near future, we will see Onion to reach $1. Aside from this exchange listings, any major activity coming up for this project?

I hope that Onion will also have stable liquidity in addition to a decent price. So as not to repeat the story with KuCoin a year ago...

As you can see here
https://deeponion.org/community/threads/marketcap-or-gitcap.43516/
DeepOnion is no joke. Development is very serious and that kinda work is not easy at all.
When something is fundamentally strong it will attract people.

You didn't have to wait for so long to see 1$ per ONION.
But this is a modest price as DeepOnion fundamentally grown in a serious manner.
With a low supply and serious developing activity, a much more noticeable growth in price is inevitable.

Hello, is there any big exchanges where I can buy onion?
Price is down I would like to buy some.

The team and community are working on activating ONION trading pairs on Kucoin.
On April 29 there will be an official listing announcement for Coinsbit,
I think trading will be possible few days earlier on Coinsbit.

If you want to buy ONION now you can do that on:
-Southexchange
-Crex24
-Stakecube
-Stex
-Bitexlive
-Citex

Yes, the price is down, like everything else, nice opportunity.

why you need members? to have fun banning people? that's why you need bots, to have illusion that your channel not empty

Having real members is a real organic value of the community.
Bots can't replace the development and the decisions of the community
that has the power to decide where the DeeppOnion project will go in the future.

please, share ur thoughts.

Luxury offer
Pairs: Onion/BTC, Onion/USDT, Onion/Arrr, Onion/XMR

You have enough funds for it:

we got the project (devs, bounty) ONION funds with the dedicated purposes.

we got the discussion on the official forum:

So it is not allowed to be discussed here at bitcointalk?
You have asked here, so I answer here.

Not much to discuss or canvass in this bog. What are u gonna discuss and who would u discuss that with? I see one topic to talk over, why nobody cares about onion? The answer is this, even after massive marketing escapade, and with all the new people onboard, u guys have failed to gain trust coz u misused the community funds, and half of that got probably stolen before everyone could notice.

That is not the truth. I care. And when we talk about funds you can check the fund's balance here https://chainz.cryptoid.info/onion/#!rich
You can clearly see the dev funds and bounty funds. And what's even more important you can participate with other people in the community
and decide where those funds will be used. You can vote too as we do.

What your system and drivers?
Don't forget about this:
Please note that the usage of 4 GB AMD cards on Windows 7 is problematic, because the blockchain driver from 2017 doesn't seem to work properly with big DAGs, and the newer drivers do not support turning on the compute mode. There are some possible workarounds with patched/hacked drivers but we haven't tested them and can't tell you how to do it.

So, if you have Windows 7, forget about mining on 4Gb cards.

It says...Good drivers. These are versions from 18.12.1.1 to 19.7.5 (inclusive), and from 19.12.2 to 20.4.2 (inclusive). These will allow you to mine until DAG epoch 372-373 and won't need restart of PhoenixMiner on each DAG epoch change.

Some of my rigs still work no problem and some of them doesn't
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: PhoenixMiner 5.0e: fastest Ethereum/Ethash miner with lowest devfee (Win/Linux) on: July 24, 2020, 05:42:24 AM
Not work for me 5.1C, same problem, he dont mine with 4 gb (RX570)
Miner close itself after

Code:
GPU1 Light cache generated in 3.6 s (16.8 MB/s)

I get only 10mh.

Computer mode

When I start miner it says
''AMD Compute mode is not turned on!'' next line
''AMD Compute mode turned on'' and next line
''You need to reboot the computer in order to activate AMD compute Mode''

I have win 7 on rigs with rx470(4GB) and rx570(4GB) cards and tried different (newer) drivers and I don't have compute mode option.

I enter Gaming, global settings, but after that I don't have GPU workload (graphics) option, so no compute mode option.

My other rig rx470(4GB) and rx580(4GB) working fine.

What to do?

On one rig with 4 rx470 cards, SSD got messed up. I have put it in the other rig to test it if it's working (previously I pulled out the working SSD from this rig).
SSD is ok, but now both of my rigs are messed up. I have reinstalled drivers (tried different versions too), I updated windows (it's windows 7), but I only get 10mh on ethereum per card.

I have another rig with the same 4 rx470 cards and is working fine. I used Macrium to clone this SSD from good rig to two that are not working properly.
I got the same result (10mh per card). I don't know what happened.

I use win 7, tried with some other miners, but I got the same results. Virtual memory is good.

Should I try to BIOS MOD the cards or something?

try amd driver 22.19.659.0

I am using the latest driver and the same problem as yours occurs. It is normal to switch to this (22.19.659.0) version
I'm using 22.19.659.1 blockchain drivers. It's not that.

Did you update drivers?

I did the update from the old blockchain driver and hashrate took a dump, so it looks like amd took away the ethash fix.
Could be wrong but that seems to be the issue as if I point hash to different ethash chain then it mines at the normal rate.

I have tried different drivers too, but problem remains.

If I overclock use of strap and rxboost to much current hashrate drops.
Balance is the key I guess
