Export the private key from your wallet in Jaxx, then import it to Electrum. There, you can sign your message.

The recent dip is price was just part of the 'everyday' Bitcoin volatility. However, keep in mind that prices now still have not settled (IMO) from the massive price spike in June. Now, I am not saying that Bitcoin is in a bubble or anything, it's just that all the recent hype, and naysayers (Wall Street), and the upcoming segwit, led the prices for Bitcoin to reach a very volatile state, spiking and falling like nobody's business. I predict that August will be a VERY good month for investing in Bitcoin once all this blows over, and the price stabilises, leading to a stable price increase as time passes, and not to mention transaction speeds will be improved if all things go well with the segwit, possibly leading to more mainstream acceptance and usage.

I use Exodus Desktop wallet. Looks and runs amazingly, have Shapeshift support, full control of your private keys, quick glance at your cryptocurrency portfolio, a handful of cryptocurrencies supported, with dozens more to come, etc. Oh and did I mention it looks effin amazing?

I have not tried that wallet but I believe that maintaining offline wallet is always better than keeping the funds in the online wallets. It really doesn't matter if there is a 2FA enabled or not in the case of hacking of the web wallet/exchange database so maintaining offline wallets like desktop, hardware or paper wallet is the best option.

Exodus wallet is a desktop wallet. It just has many nice additional features, but at it's core, it is just like any other 'lite' desktop wallet.

Is it possible to get the faucet script to create one?

coinpot is not open to the public, and until further notice, is only for use with the sites that the Moon admins manage.

At the moment, in my humble opinion, I believe that Bitcoin is more akin to gold rather than Fiat money. Sure you can pay with gold, but expect to pay higher fees to convert the gold to fiat, or get charged a fee for accepting gold. So, I am treating my Bitcoin more as an asset, for me to invest in, rather than a currency.
