1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: wallets or exchanges supporting Bitcoin Gold? on: October 25, 2017, 02:45:40 AM

What is the big deal to let exchanges trade btg while the "partners wallets" did not offer support for the coin and you neither can't claim your btg yep?

I'd like to confirm something.

Say you have your Bitcoin stored in your Electrum Wallet, and you want to move/spend this Bitcoin prior to obtaining your BitCoin Gold; do you need to record the keys in order that you can later obtain your Bitcoin Gold? Or is there anything else you must do? I wish to move/spend my Bitcoin, but I don't want to lose the Bitcoin Gold allocation if I can avoid it.

Much appreciated!

Hey Green!

When the fork happened, it divide the amount of all btc present in the private keys.
To claim you btg wallet, you will need the same private key which where the btc in the fork time. That's why it is a good suggestion to remove all btc from the wallet before claim the btg.

Got it?

Hello. If I send my bitcoin from Electrum wallet, Will I still have bitcoin gold in the wallet ? Is it safe? I really need to know! Thank you !

Hey Zu,

in the first place, your private key need to had the btc just before the fork. When the fork happened, it just split the number of btc of all wallets. So, if you had btc on your electrum wallet when the fork happened, it would be good to remove all btc from this wallet before claim it in electrum (when it offers support to btg), due the replay protection and other stuff.

Does it helps?

How can btcgpu.org be off-line in the fork day... really?

Any signs of wallets for it yet?
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: An (even more) optimized version of cpuminer (pooler's cpuminer, CPU-only) on: July 21, 2017, 11:42:41 PM
Guys, Iīm runing a cpu doge mining with pool miner downloaded from the indicated link from AikaPools website)

following the .bat file as suggested:

Code:
minerd -a --scrypt -t 6 -s 4 -o stratum+tcp://stratum.aikapool.com:7915 -u UserName.WorkerName -p WorkerPassword

It didnīt work because:

Code:
unknow algorithm -- '--scrypt' pooler miner
So I change it for:

Code:
minerd -o stratum+tcp://stratum.aikapool.com:7915 -u nemesysteste.wdoge1 -p 1
pause

Now the .bat initiate the .exe and it runs like this:

Code:
[2017-07... the date] Stratum request work restart
[2017-07... the date] thread 1: 300 hashes, 0.02 khash/s
[2017-07... the date] thread 0: 200 hashes, 0.02 khash/s
[2017-07... the date] thread 1: 1128 hashes, 0.04 khash/s
[2017-07... the date] thread 0: 1004 hashes, 0.03 khash/s

(...) so on...

Is it mining - and it takes time to refresh on AikaPools dashboard (the worker doesnīt appears activate in Aikas dashboard)?
Or it isnīt and I am missing something?

Thanks you Smiley !

The miner keep rolling the code like:

And my pool's dashboard be like:

Does anyone knows if DOGE takes more than 30min mining to appears as unconfirmed deposit?
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty for Open-Sourced XMR/Cryptonight GPU Miner Bounties Thread on: July 17, 2017, 07:47:22 PM
Hi guys!

I downloaded the .bat from Minergate, put it in the same folder of ccminer, but when I run the bat shows:

  • "'ccminer' is not recongnized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file."

Win7, Intel Core2 Duo E7500, with an antminer (that I don't know how to make it works).

This recognition problem is happening with other miners too. Already google it and find some answers, but none worked for me still.

Does anyone know what it can be?

Here's the bat file I'm using:

  • ccminer -a cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://bcn.pool.minergate.com:45550 -u user -p x
    pause

Tx!
