I think they don't see the big picture of bitcoins. People will always reject something they don't fully understand so it's quite a relatable experience that you had with people who don't like bitcoins. It doesn't necessarily mean it scares them, they just resent the idea of investing in the internet rather than investing in banks where they actually see money involved. Whereas bitcoins, have better and bigger profits.

This era of teenagers and children, I guess can easily adapt to changes. Due to advance technology, they already have access to the web. Which I think gives a leverage in the future. I do agree in a sense that BTC could be the future money and BTC is really hard to explain. Though we could only assist them in understanding things, We can't provide everything to these kids. But, If ever bitcoin would be accepted as money worldwide. For sure that every schools and colleges would do add cryptocurrencies as part of the curriculum.

I had a limit order in at $5520 but I've just taken it off because the price is falling so quickly. I want to increase my stash of BTC but want to be able to buy as much as possible.
If it goes through $5000 I think it could well go to 4300
I would start buying it at $4,000, but it's not likely to happen soon. Thus it's like my dream. The price is very stable above $5,000 and even the correction waves, that wall and support line were not destroyed yet. I think the pattern won't change a lot in 2018 as well. I think by the price it reaches $2500 to $3000 i would start buying.It may be far from the current price right now but still we never know what will be its movement.But i also think that bitcoin price will still be in the middle of $5000 to $6000.And by next year IMO bitcoin price will skyrocket again if not by next month. Wait, you'll buy at $2500 to $3000 but you also think it will skyrocket possibly by next month? |

Just don't buy because the price is falling however just wait until the bottom. You can buy bitcoin again after the price decrease stop and it indicate an uptrend. If you buy at, let us say $5520 and the price still decreasing you will money for sure. Unlike if you buy at uptrend. Text me when BTC hits the exact bottom please. Thanks dude. |

if people are checking the price several times a day, they are literally asking to give themselves mental anxiety issues.

Why is there always such panic? We are just having another correction caused by the cancellation of the SegWit2x hardfork. It is just a matter of time before everything gets back to normal. We have 180k unconfirmed transactions. Don't you think it is suspicious that it happens right after some group claimed that they have 30% of the hashrate? Bitcoin hashrate dropped almost by 50%.
If you can't handle these ups and downs, I'd seriously sell right now.
