Hi all!
I managed to install DeepOnion wallet v.1.2 headless on Ubuntu 17.04 (zesty), by compiling a bunch of libraries.

I'd like to post a step by step tutorial for that but I cannot get a confirmation email for deeponion.org' forum. Do you think I could post it in this thread?

Hello mate! I had the same issue. Even after requesting new confirmation mail (about 5 times) still no mail arrived.
I don't know what your registration email address is but it seems that server has some issues sending to less known email providers.
I'd recommend either join slack or change your email address in your DeepOnion account (the second option is much faster).
For 2nd option just change your email address here: https://deeponion.org/community/account/contact-details
I used gmail as contact address and it arrived immediately. Smiley
Let us know if it helped you. Smiley

EDIT: I forgot to mention that I was waiting 2 weeks and nothing arrived.

Thanks! In fact I did the same some minutes ago, used gmail and now I'm in, writing the aforementioned tutorial.

is this a confirmed scam?

Yes it is a confirmed scam. How comes this thread has not been locked in the first place? Mods?

please not delta)) bittrex or liqui

I believe that for an ERC20 token is quite straightforward to be added to EtherDelta (which is not so bad after all, you got to get used to it), the authors just need to add a contract address or whatever

Сoins was distribution to investors.

...

News on exchanges: "We will announce the exchange on Monday and it will be available then (Monday early afternoon time Pacific time)".

My tokens are there alright. First exchange to hit should be EtherDelta, innit?  Wink
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: UTOX [Open - ICO] Escrow platform using blockchain technology on: September 03, 2017, 09:37:17 PM

It's a scam.

In this page

http://utoxtokensale.pagedemo.co/

these people claim that you can pay with BTC and that you should "include your ETH wallet address".

But there is no way they can know what ETH address is related to what BTC incoming transaction.

Stay away from this.

I don't like to send my passport to a chinese ICO (it will be the same if it were elsewhere)

There's much hype around this ICO, it'll be worth it

113.75306272 for 0.355478321 Ether is that correct ??

I received 320 LOQ for 1 ETH, same ratio as you, but massively short of advertised "1 ETH = 4500 LOQ + Bonuses"

Any insider here that can explain that?

All this kind of problems are due to the fact that there're so many miners creating blocks at fast speed. Some of the blocks get "out-of-sync" with the network (the "too early" errors) and others just are superseded by a previously mined block on the blockchain, and to avoid creating a fork, they are automatically discarded (the "REORGANIZE" messages).

When the network is fully PoS those messages will start dissapearing due to the different algorithm managing the staking. Ah .. and some of the mined blocks are rejected due to a "proof-of-stake" block found first and these take precedence.

I hope this explaination is not too technical and you can understand it Cool

That's fine thanks  Wink After all I managed to get the wallet running on Ubuntu 17.04, my knowledge is constantly rising as we speak  Grin

Another question though: I'd like to know more about master nodes, can you please direct me to some discussion/documentation?

Don't know why, only know it happened me 8 times and only 1 block was credited to my wallet.

After more analysis, it turns out that, out of these 8 times a new block was found, "ERROR: AcceptBlock()" was triggered 6 times, while in the other instances I got:

Code:

What does this mean? My guess is that my computer managed to find a new block, but it then failed to broadcast it to the network (I did not manage to mine any coins so far). Anyone knows why it fails?

you can find the debug log under Debug window->Information->Debug log file: open

Don't know why, only know it happened me 8 times and only 1 block was credited to my wallet.
