Someone I know just downloaded Claymore 15 from claymoredualminer.com It can mine ETH. Anyone know what it is that he has downloaded? The siste only says Claymore 15. is it moreepocs mod or something else?
I would say it is scam but i am not sure. The cli pic on this page is from phönixminer XD. Claymore is also not active and the miner old, why is someone using this miner? What he got was actually PhoenixMiner 5.6a renamed to what Claymore exe file was named (EthDcrMiner.exe?) According to other forum posts I found they only altered pools so that if your pool goes down it will mine to theyr wallet. They have also registered a website for PhoenixMiner.

I got the weirdest issue I can mine etc, zcash perfectly fine on my GPU, I cannot mine ETH ever since the dag increase, this 580 8gb gpu been having issues. it's a chinese brand, so i'm guessing either something is messed with kernel or something, it mined like a champ on eth, never turns off, but now it's giving me so many headaches 2021.05.16:02:02:30.141: main Phoenix Miner 5.6d Windows/msvc - Release build

Hello,
is it possible to mine dogecoin with Phoenixminer? Any guide to set it up correctly?
Thanks =)
Not with Phoenixminer no. It looks like it is possible with GPU but I would be surprised if it is profitable as it can be mined with ASIC. With an Antminer L3+ you can "merge mine" LTC and DOGE at a high profit. (During the crypto winter you could probably buy a used L3+ for the same amount it now mines each day.)

I have problem using phoenix with RX 570 8G
i attached only 1 RX 570 but phoenix detect 2 VGA
GPU1: Radeon RX 570 Series (pcie 1), OpenCL 2.0, 8 GB VRAM, 32 CUs GPU2: Radeon RX 570 Series (pcie 1), OpenCL 2.0, 8 GB VRAM, 32 CUs
i try using 5.5c dan 5.4c and the result same. Anyone can help?
Your onboard graphics or remote desktop session is detected as a second RX570. I think this problem was introduced in a Windows update and I don't know how to fix it properly, it can probably be fixed in the mining software. But you can work around it by not using the onbard graphics (connect monitor to RX570) or by letting Phoenix start at bootup automatically with no monitors attached.

Is anyone running a 6800, 6800XT or 6900XT with SAM enabled with Phoenix miner? I am waiting for mine to come in and I am thinking 100MH/s could be possible with it but would like to see some real world numbers.
I had to google SAM, You mean Smart Access Memory right? I updated the BIOS, enabeled SAM (PCIe Resizable BAR) and saw no increase in hashrate. And frankly I see no reason why SAM should impact GPU mining at all.

I'm a newbie!Help. Zombie mode reduces the hashrate on all video cards? Or what is it? And does Phoenix Miner save you from zombie mode? Sorry for the stupid question, but I'm just learning No if your card has 6Gb or more you don't have to worry about that. "zombie mode" is used to be able to mine ETH on a 4GB card. The term "Zombe Mode" comes from somewhere else, Phoenix does not call it that. But I suppose it is a process where part of the DAG file is stored in computer memory and has to be swapped back and forth over the PCIe bus when the GPU needs a certain part of the file.

Only some of the AMD cards are supported by the -straps parameter in PhoenixMiner? I don't think it's mentioned in the first post.
RX580? RX5700? RX6800?

If You switch to Linux You will get around 20 MHs om ETH. Far better than 30 on ETC. Great news, which distribution do you advice? will ubuntu be fine? And which one? I think SimpleminingOS, HiveOS, RaveOS or similar will be easiest. I went with Ubuntu 20.04 server as I had several rigs and didn't want to pay a monthly fee. Can't really recommend it as it was a lot of work for someone (me) that's not a linux guy.

If you don´t know, how to push your cards to 30mh without claymore, then go fishing or plant some flowers. Sorry thats one of the basics to understand what is happen if i change vram timings, or mem speed or something else.
If say a fisherman or a gardener wanted to set some timings on a RX580 8GB, would he/she have to read through the entire thread on AMD Mem Tweak XL to learn what each parameter does, or is there a way to find timings that would probably work OK for a given card?

Hi all,
I have 13 x RTX580 4GB cards, I can still have 5.4c version running, but the hashrate is no more than 9.3MHs per card. Is there any way to still use them or are they condemned to die? Last year I was mining @ 31 per card, now is less than 1/3, is the power consumption also reduced towards 31MHs or it's still consuming the same but the result is 1/3 (9.3MHs) ?
580 with 4GB is done on the ETH. You can try to mine ETC with full speed. If You switch to Linux You will get around 20 MHs om ETH. Far better than 30 on ETC. Performance on ETH will sink on each New epoc though.

I fired up 2 of my Antminer L3+ Litcoin miners today. Anyone know what firmware is recommended? I use Blissz v1.02 but I noticed there are many different versions out promising up to 720MHz And about mining when price is down; don't you think it's better to just buy the coin when electricity is more then what you mine is worth?

I have 3 rigs with identical hardware (8x RX580 4Gb) running Ubuntu server 20.04. All 3 stopped yesterday but only one of them is mining after a reboot, running at 29MH/s per card. All 3 rigs are using AMD driver 20.20-1089974 Does this log give any hints what could be wrong? Is there some batch parameters I could add to solve this or perhaps try another AMD driver? 2020.12.16:09:30:32.995: main Phoenix Miner 5.3b Linux/gcc - Release build 2020.12.16:09:30:32.995: main Cmd line: -epool eth-eu2.nanopool.org:9999 -ewal 0x19f6bnnnnnnn/rig022/nn@nnn.com -epsw x -mode 1 -ftime 10 -cclock 1140 -mclock 2110,2120,2090,2130,2080,2080,2100,2050 -powlim 50 -cvddc 850 -eres 0 2020.12.16:09:30:32.996: main No CUDA driver found 2020.12.16:09:30:33.744: main OpenCL driver version: 20.20-1089974-ubuntu-20.04 2020.12.16:09:30:33.745: main Available GPUs for mining: 2020.12.16:09:30:33.745: main GPU1: Radeon RX 580 Series (pcie 1), OpenCL 1.2, 4 GB VRAM, 36 CUs 2020.12.16:09:30:33.746: main GPU2: Radeon RX 580 Series (pcie 2), OpenCL 1.2, 4 GB VRAM, 36 CUs 2020.12.16:09:30:33.746: main GPU3: Radeon RX 580 Series (pcie 3), OpenCL 1.2, 4 GB VRAM, 36 CUs 2020.12.16:09:30:33.746: main GPU4: Radeon RX 580 Series (pcie 5), OpenCL 1.2, 4 GB VRAM, 36 CUs 2020.12.16:09:30:33.747: main GPU5: Radeon RX 580 Series (pcie 6), OpenCL 1.2, 4 GB VRAM, 36 CUs 2020.12.16:09:30:33.747: main GPU6: Radeon RX 580 Series (pcie 7), OpenCL 1.2, 4 GB VRAM, 36 CUs 2020.12.16:09:30:33.747: main GPU7: Radeon RX 580 Series (pcie 8), OpenCL 1.2, 4 GB VRAM, 36 CUs 2020.12.16:09:30:33.747: main GPU8: Radeon RX 580 Series (pcie 10), OpenCL 1.2, 4 GB VRAM, 36 CUs 2020.12.16:09:30:33.754: main AMD sysfs monitor initialized 2020.12.16:09:30:33.755: main Eth: the pool list contains 1 pool (1 from command-line) 2020.12.16:09:30:33.755: main Eth: primary pool: eth-eu2.nanopool.org:9999 2020.12.16:09:30:33.757: main Starting GPU mining 2020.12.16:09:30:33.757: main GPU1: fan PWM control mode 2, min 0, max 255 2020.12.16:09:30:33.758: main GPU2: fan PWM control mode 2, min 0, max 255 2020.12.16:09:30:33.758: main GPU3: fan PWM control mode 2, min 0, max 255 2020.12.16:09:30:33.758: main GPU4: fan PWM control mode 2, min 0, max 255 2020.12.16:09:30:33.758: main GPU5: fan PWM control mode 2, min 0, max 255 2020.12.16:09:30:33.758: main GPU6: fan PWM control mode 2, min 0, max 255 2020.12.16:09:30:33.758: main GPU7: fan PWM control mode 2, min 0, max 255 2020.12.16:09:30:33.758: main GPU8: fan PWM control mode 2, min 0, max 255 2020.12.16:09:30:33.809: hwmc GPU1: set power limit 262W 2020.12.16:09:30:34.071: hwmc GPU1: set GPU clocks to 1140 MHz (Vddc 850 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:34.847: hwmc GPU1: set VMEM clocks to 2110 MHz (Vddc 950 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:34.847: hwmc GPU2: set power limit 262W 2020.12.16:09:30:35.109: hwmc GPU2: set GPU clocks to 1140 MHz (Vddc 850 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:35.886: hwmc GPU2: set VMEM clocks to 2120 MHz (Vddc 950 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:35.887: hwmc GPU3: set power limit 262W 2020.12.16:09:30:36.148: hwmc GPU3: set GPU clocks to 1140 MHz (Vddc 850 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:36.925: hwmc GPU3: set VMEM clocks to 2090 MHz (Vddc 950 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:36.926: hwmc GPU4: set power limit 262W 2020.12.16:09:30:37.188: hwmc GPU4: set GPU clocks to 1140 MHz (Vddc 850 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:37.973: hwmc GPU4: set VMEM clocks to 2130 MHz (Vddc 950 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:37.973: hwmc GPU5: set power limit 262W 2020.12.16:09:30:38.237: hwmc GPU5: set GPU clocks to 1140 MHz (Vddc 850 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:39.014: hwmc GPU5: set VMEM clocks to 2080 MHz (Vddc 950 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:39.014: hwmc GPU6: set power limit 262W 2020.12.16:09:30:39.276: hwmc GPU6: set GPU clocks to 1140 MHz (Vddc 850 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:40.053: hwmc GPU6: set VMEM clocks to 2080 MHz (Vddc 950 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:40.053: hwmc GPU7: set power limit 262W 2020.12.16:09:30:40.315: hwmc GPU7: set GPU clocks to 1140 MHz (Vddc 850 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:41.092: hwmc GPU7: set VMEM clocks to 2100 MHz (Vddc 950 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:41.092: hwmc GPU8: set power limit 262W 2020.12.16:09:30:41.354: hwmc GPU8: set GPU clocks to 1140 MHz (Vddc 850 mV) 2020.12.16:09:30:41.405: wdog Starting watchdog thread 2020.12.16:09:30:41.406: main Eth: Connecting to ethash pool eth-eu2.nanopool.org:9999 (proto: EthProxy) 2020.12.16:09:30:41.406: main GPU1: 27C 19% 32W, GPU2: 32C 19% 35W, GPU3: 27C 18% 34W, GPU4: 29C 19% 50W, GPU5: 27C 19% 33W, GPU6: 26C 18% 34W, GPU7: 30C 18% 35W, GPU8: 27C 18% 33W GPUs power: 286.6 W 2020.12.16:09:30:41.463: eths Eth: Connected to ethash pool eth-eu2.nanopool.org:9999 (51.255.34.80) 2020.12.16:09:30:41.463: eths Eth: Send: {"id":1,"jsonrpc":"2.0","method":"eth_submitLogin","worker":"eth1.0","params":["0x19f6b9639f2de1acf65eb8a4168b6578f43fb96b/rig022/jt@kks.no","x"]}

One of my rigs keep complaining that "debugger detected" and stops. It can run for days but now and then it will get paranoid and stop. Windows 10.
in order to solve the issue, you have to specify in the batch arguments which architecture you are using. Example -NVidia (I am using a 1060 6GB) Happy Mining! Have added -amd but the problem is still there. Is it Windows Defender that is causing this problem? I'll turn off real time protection and se how it goes.

mining in home with 10-20 gpus is not profitable now ?
Why should it not be profitable? If you have 4GB cards, switch to Linux and some other miner to mine ETH as long as possible. When 4GB cards can no longer mine ETH they will all move to ETC and other more obscure coins. Who knows what will be profitable when they get all that hashing power.

Both 5.2e and 5.1c sometimes detect one extra card
.....
There are 6 cards in this rig so GPU 1 and GPU 2 is the same card. Needless to say this does not end well
So far I have managed to run 5.1c over some time but not 5.2e Windows 10
Most probably mixed-up drivers. Remove the drivers with DDU, then check if they are really removed - they should be listed only as "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter" not as Radeon .... If necessary, run DDU again until you see only "Microsoft Basic Display Adapter"s in the Device Manager, only then install the new drivers. I suspect this problem is related to how the latest Windows 10 build(s) deals with "Microsoft Remote Display Adapter" when connecting through RDP. I've seen this problem with more then one version of the AMD driver and both in PhoenixMiner and Claymore. All is fine if I reboot the miner and do not connect to it until after mining has started. But if I start the miner after logging in with RDP it will detect 2 GPUS on PCIe 1. This issue can probably be solved in the miner but I suppose it's not of high importance.

Can someone report hashrate for AMD RX 570/580 4Gb on linux or windows 7 ? Is bigger or the same than on Win10 ? Today i have only 22Mhz...
Thankyou!
I have 8Gb 580/570 on Win 10 and they range from 29-31 MH, never used 4Gb cards not sure what the hash speed difference would be. RX580 4Gb about 30MH/s Phoenix on Linux. And I know it's not the best BIOS as Claymore with -strap was 1-2 MH/s faster under Windows. Which linux are you using ? Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS Server

GPU 0 and 1 is running at 0 or just a few Mh/s while GPU 2 to 6 are at 30 Mh/s as they should (mining some coin with 1.3GB dag). Similar problem with Phoenix on ETH. Yesterday all was fine mining ETH on Claymore. Suggestions how to solve this?
