1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A Bill to Ban Buying All Cryptocurrencies on: May 13, 2019, 08:07:37 PM
No threat that will pass.  Very bullish to see the fear motivating it though!
2  Economy / Marketplace / Re: can bitcoin in the future surpass gold? on: September 17, 2018, 06:43:31 PM
Not really competitors at all in my mind.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are some demonstrably successful ICOs? on: October 30, 2017, 09:39:30 AM
Have any of them come up with a product/good/service that is used by the general non-crypto population yet?
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin vs Mortgage on: September 27, 2017, 10:09:44 PM
My approach is to sell 1 BTC every time I get excited about the price, and transfer the funds over as a principal only pay down on my mortgage.

That way if something horrid does happen to Bitcoin, I've at least got some benefit from it.  Plus it has the advantage of not telling too much in one year once and pushing myself up into a high capital gains tax rate.

Just sold one today, was excited to see the price back above $4K again!
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you catch the falling knife? on: September 13, 2017, 04:40:12 PM
I don't see that anything has really fundamentally changed between $4900 and $3900 - if I was buying at $4900 I'd be buying at this lower price also.

6  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the moon!!! on: August 30, 2017, 12:56:32 PM

8  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 4000$ !! on: August 10, 2017, 10:53:20 AM
I'd be happy getting to $3500 by months end,  doesn't hurt to have the price stabilize and consolidate for a while before each new runup.
9  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in the moon!!! on: August 10, 2017, 10:50:16 AM
$5000 by year end, hoping so any way!

12  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should i invest now in Bitcoin? on: August 07, 2017, 09:02:23 PM
I wouldn't add to my position at this price, but if I had no exposure at all I'd certainly buy.

If not now, when?  Wait for $5K?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why has BCH spiked up today? on: August 07, 2017, 08:58:39 PM
All I know, is if I buy an Altcoin it will drop the next day.

I'm not buying BCH, so it will probably go up...right?

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Deep Onion on: August 04, 2017, 10:20:53 AM
Is the deeponion going to be on an exchange anytime soon?  Might be interested in buying some.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Most Profitable Bounty Campaign Ever, Dude on: August 03, 2017, 11:13:23 AM
Aventus looks good, their token price is 92 per ETH, and i got like 172 tokens, almost 2 ETH. And the bounty have the second chapter and it's still running now. The ICO will launch at the end of this month, this project got a high chance will sucess.

But yeah we can't except so high for every bounty, lot of bounty nowday just fundraising for their useless words, don't have any plan for the money except launching stupid token, in the end their token end at the bottom of market after massive dumping from bounty hunter. But hey, that's what most bounty hunters want, free tokens free money right ?Grin

How much work did you have to do to get those 172 tokens?
18  Economy / Speculation / Re: In about 8 days Bitcoin will finally lock in SegWit on: August 03, 2017, 10:44:09 AM
Progress at last, here's hoping 2x gets honored in a few months!
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2017-08-01 Coinbase/GDAX Biggest Crypto Fraud in history? on: August 03, 2017, 10:42:24 AM
I don't think it's grounds for claiming Fraud, but it is grounds (if you haven't determined this already) for keeping your BTC off exchanges and on wallets where you control the private keys.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Polo is insolvent (spidey senses tell me so) on: August 03, 2017, 10:39:19 AM
