1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BITTREX, the captcha is always wrong >:( >:( >:( on: September 29, 2017, 05:00:03 AM
do you want to improve it ?

What captcha on bittrex ? I'am using 2FA on this exchanger, and never was asked to enter any captcha instead.

Ditto.  I've never been presented with a Captcha on Bittrex.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Poloniex Support on: September 29, 2017, 04:45:50 AM
If you do a little research on Poloniex, you'll really get worried.  The company phone number is voicemail only and the address is just a front.  Go ahead and visit the "office"; there's no Poloniex office there.  The company attorney does not work for the large international firm he claims to work for and never has.  They have never heard of him.  His phone number is disconnected and his license to practice law doesn't exist.  Neither Tristan D'Agosta nor any of the company execs are reachable either.  They have no office number and their personal numbers have been disconnected.  In fact, the personal numbers for all of Tristan D'Agosta's family members have been disconnected as well.  Even the Rutgers department that his mom used to head up has had its number disconnected.  His "best friends" from college claim to have never even heard of him and, interestingly, Tristan is not in a single photo with his "best friends."  For now, I am not concerned because Tristan makes too much money to pack up and take off.  When the US gov't cracks down on exchanges though, don't be surprised if Poloniex goes up in smoke and takes everyone's funds with them.  A legitimate company doesn't use fake lawyers, a fake address and have the phone numbers of everyone with any attachment to the company or its employees disconnected.
3  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bitconnect likely to be a ponzi on: September 11, 2017, 12:33:29 PM
Buyer A uses BTC to buy Bitconnect Coin (BCC), which is traded almost exclusively on BCC's own exchange. Buyer B buys BCC and his money is used to pay Buyer A. Buyer C buys BCC and his money is used to pay Buyer B. When the supply of new investors eventually dries up, the whole thing will collapse and those at the end of the chain will be left with a worthless token. This is the very definition of a Ponzi/MLM scheme.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] SLVR: The First ERC20 Token Backed by Silver! on: September 10, 2017, 03:57:10 AM
Well, I was going to say this looked very dodgy indeed, and that you would need to provide a lot more information if you are going to convince anyone but the noobs on this forum that this is legit.

But then I remembered that Google is my friend, so I did a little "digging" of my own, if you'll pardon the pun.

So... Anyone want to invest in a silver mine that has already been the subject of an investment scam? Not me, that's for sure.

I'll just leave this here: https://www.sec.gov/litigation/complaints/2017/comp23903.pdf

No wonder these fucks don't want US investors.

I'll be doing some more digging on these conmen, with their dodgy blurred photos, and their carefully worded T&C's full of legalese and get-out clauses. You can be sure I'll be reporting them to the relevant authorities, as I do for all scammers.

Good catch.  Not buying their response.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin on: September 03, 2017, 11:03:43 AM
I bought it for $20 and will hold till the price reaches $1k or so.
LTC $1k can be only with Bitcoin over $100k.
See the charts: https://bitcointalk.org/?topic=2007557
LTC only falling all this years. And now at Pump phase. Will return to normal 0.005 very soon.
Smart to sell it now.

It will, literally, never happen.  LTC didn't go up this year by chance.  Charlie Lee's return, SegWit, Lightning Network, atomic swaps, CNBC feature (calling it a "must own"), etc.  It will be over $100 shortly and will see $300 by 2019.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin is the sleeping giant on: September 01, 2017, 03:54:54 AM
Tell us in three sentences what the advantage of Litecoin over other alts like Ethereum, Maid, DASH, Monero,... etc. is?

I do not see any advantage except the Chinese like Litecoin. Therefore, I do not agree with your statement that Litecoin is a sleeping giant at all Wink

so true, i think its over hyped at the moment
Don't make me laugh sir, sooner or later litecoin will gonna die. Because if you see the fluctuation of litecoin in the market it almost no movement. So how can you said that this altcoin will be hyped at this moment???

People have been saying LTC is going to die for years.  It isn't happening.  There are ATMs in Canada.  Coinbase has now added to its app.  It is being offered via retirement funds.  Charlie Lee has been working hard and it has skyrocket ever since he returned to it FT.  $100 by end of this year.  Heck, maybe by end of September.  $300 by close of next year.  Mark this post and feel free to come back and mock me if I'm wrong.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: August 25, 2017, 01:53:10 PM
Poloniex has about $10K of my money and I am unable to get it out of the exchange.  Moreover, I have proof someone inside the company is engaging in insider trading and manipulating the market.  Poloniex doesn't respond to tickets.   Angry

9  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: NXT/IGNIS scam on: August 02, 2017, 09:27:22 AM
OP, I agree.  NXT's price chart has all the makings of a P&D coin.  The crypto market is, inherently, volatile, but no legitimate coin goes up and down 50-60% every few days to weeks (and then repeats the cycle again and again).
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sorry me, but it Very important information about litecoin (LTC) on: July 23, 2017, 05:34:41 AM

Charlie Lee who is it? Blogger who start writing about LTC?
LTC coin of 2012, Pump&Dump progect of Russian btc-e.com .

Charlie Lee is the creator of LTC, genius, and he is most certainly not Russian.
