1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple or Bitcoin on: September 05, 2018, 03:05:01 AM
I for one would choose Bitcoin.  RIPPLE has a horrible reputation among a large sector of the crypto crowd.  RIPPLE has that seedy banker feel to it.  I got into crypto to get away from that not to jump right back into it.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I bought bitcoin at $20k last year on: September 05, 2018, 03:02:54 AM
Don't sweat it you will still profit off your investment if you can see this thing through.  Your getting to be in much better shape ads Bitcoin is strengthening and making a comeback.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Its time to move on, and ignore the BTC !!! on: September 05, 2018, 03:00:34 AM
If I was able to trade/hunt and make money there is no way I would leave Bitcoin behind.  I would try to balance my life and not be 100% all the time Bitcoin however I would continue to work in crypto as it gives you a certain amount of freedom.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why do governments don't make BTC illegal worldwide ? on: September 05, 2018, 02:58:34 AM
I believe the governments keep Bitcoin legal because it is the governments that brought this to us.  It's the perfect tax weapon to use against us all once our name is connected to  our public wallet address.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH, road down to $50? on: September 01, 2018, 02:05:34 AM
Are you playing with this $50 dollar prediction?  I don't think we will breech $200 let alone get to $50.  The market is getting very bouncy.  I think this bull is about to come to life.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH is now dying, what do you think? on: September 01, 2018, 02:00:22 AM
I'm not sure why you would think Ethereum is dying?  Is this a shill attempt or serious?  I would highly recommend buying vs selling Ethereum at this juncture.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap data on: August 30, 2018, 07:12:48 PM
Hopefully coinmarketcap.com goes away and better alternatives come along.  A lot of times their data is outdated or just float out wrong.  It's much better to get your data feeds directly from the exchanges your trading on.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A new bomb from Vitalik Buterin on: August 30, 2018, 07:11:28 PM
What is Plasma Chain for friends who do not know first? I want to explain this. We can refer to plasma technology as a block chain within the block chain. So let's think about how to get things done together: let's say you bought a CryptoKitty yesterday and in Augur you used the World Cup semi-finals prediction from England and maybe you gave your Etherleridia money. Instead of doing these three operations separately, blockzincir actually holds these three operations in another chain, and eventually all three are hanelized as a single ethereal operation. The vitalik buterin counts days with the erc20 to work together with the block chain, making the ethereum network even more intelligent. Who knows, maybe this is just a start so sooner and much faster and smart nets can be waiting for us

Great news for Ethereum.  I see all these posts worried about Ethereum going to zero and never coming back. Vitalik is on a different level than these other developers and all they will be able to do in imitate.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold your coins in multiple wallets on: August 30, 2018, 07:09:14 PM
It's a horrible pain in the a** to maintain multiple wallets.  I have 10 wallets that I now have just for Ethereum based assets just in case I have a breech I don't loose it all and may only loose 10% if I'm lucky.  It does require much more effort and book keeping.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is our money in crypto? on: August 30, 2018, 07:07:29 PM
Money is not at all safe in cryptocurrency, There are so many hackers around here who's only business is hack a wallet of bounty hunters to get money without doing anything.

There are robbers looking to mug you at gunpoint for cash.  There are carjackers that want your car.  Are you going to stop using cash and driving?  Crypto is the same way.  Take precautions and do your best to minimize the risks.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: to many poor people? on: August 25, 2018, 10:52:37 PM
It's just a ying yang thing.  Crypto must find its balance.  We are experiencing huge waves of change due to this all being new.  Eventually an equilibrium will be hit and things will smooth out.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Where to invest 500$ on: August 25, 2018, 10:51:11 PM
I would drop my $500 into NEO and collect the gas fee while I waited for the market to come back.  Another great thing about NEO is when the market rallies this think flies up hard.  You will make huge percentage gains with NEO.  Especially at these levels.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can any other crypto replace bitcoin? on: August 25, 2018, 10:49:32 PM
No other coin can replace Bitcoin period.  The only way this would be possible is if someone went back in time and made their coin before Bitcoin.  Bitcoin was first and it was done nicely.  Game over.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD on: August 25, 2018, 10:43:18 PM
Holding is also an easy thing to do when your not sure what to do.  I think a lot of new people come in and are like a deer in the headlight so when they hear hold this seems to be the easiest action to take so that's what they do.  Selling takes work and motivation.  If your not knowing what to do sometime holding just happens naturally.
15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who sells BTC now? on: August 24, 2018, 01:40:54 AM
Scared people sell Bitcoin right now.  Emotional people sell as well as people who need emergency fiat funds to pay for an unexpected issue.  Lots of reasons someone would cash out.  Some reasons are sound.  Some are not.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Paying Bounty With TOKEN or ETH which will be better? on: August 24, 2018, 01:39:26 AM
I like receiving the token I'm doing the bounty for.  I realize sometimes we get duds but man when one hits or you become part of an awesome community it's really cool.  If we all got Ethereum we would not experience that.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All Alt Coins are a scam. on: August 24, 2018, 01:37:28 AM
Well this is what the insightful Tone Vays claims...

He claims that ETH, DASH, shit 99.5% of all the ALTS are scams and the only coin that will survive is Bitcoin.

So l guess we should all sell our Alts now!

That's just ridiculous.  Ethereum is running 1,000's of coins on it.  I don't think that's a scam and It's pretty damn important to crypto in general right now.  Can't believe they allow these people to speak.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you think, will BTC again jump in December? on: August 23, 2018, 01:31:04 AM
I'm not sure.  It seems to me the big boys are keeping this down until they have regulations in place.  I'm not sure when they will have the setup they want but I don't think we will move until then.
19  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Short term vs. Long term investments on: August 23, 2018, 01:30:06 AM
Well I like short term as I like to get my money back faster.  Some of my short term trades do turn long term by accident however I try not to hold very long at all.  The market is too shaky for a long term play in my opinion.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Resources to learn crypto trading? on: August 23, 2018, 01:28:07 AM
The best resource is yourself and personal experience.  I would suggest getting some coins and start trading extremely small amounts and just keep going from there.  If the competition is all reading the same books they really provide you with no useful information.  Get in and get your hands dirty instead.
