I'll keep my fingers crossed that you can do it. Was mining since start and just a few coins until I can start a masternode.  Sad

Please update your wallets and Masternodes to the new XUMA-Wallet Version 1.4.0.0!

Fixes:
- Displaying Transactions with 0 amount
- Correcting the DevFee from double amount to normal amount

After November 18th 8pm UTC only the new Version will be allowed to connect to the Network! Please update ASAP!

If you used the click2install script you easily can use the remove script and install new with the script:

Code:
#remove the old binarys
wget -q https://raw.githubusercontent.com/click2install/xumacoin/master/remove-xuma.sh
bash remove-xuma.sh
rm -f remove-xuma.sh

#install new version
wget -q https://raw.githubusercontent.com/click2install/xumacoin/master/install-xuma.sh
bash install-xuma.sh https://github.com/xumacoin/xuma-core/releases/download/v1.4.0.0/XUMA-Linux64-v1.4.0.0.zip

- Download the new Wallets: https://github.com/xumacoin/xuma-core/releases/tag/v1.4.0.0
- Exchanges will be informed later this week to update the Wallets and re-enable the withdrawals.
- Explorer: http://explorer.xumacoin.org/ or http://xuma.uccnetwork.org/

And last but not least: the PoS Switch was successful! Happy Staking!
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xuma - Decentralized database | Masternode | Smart Contract | No ICO on: October 27, 2018, 04:20:32 PM
Switch to PoS is soon!!

Please let your wallet open and unlock for staking.

- Be sure that you are on the same blockheight as the pool letsmine.it is! This Pool was always on the last chain in last weeks. (we can't update our explorer yet, the domain is still in transition to us)

- Your wallet must be fully synced before the block 330240!

- You can check your staking status with console:

Code:
getstakingstatus

--> all must be true if we enter the PoS Switch Block!

Latest Version for the PoS Switch is the 1.3.0.6!

Get latest version at github https://github.com/xumacoin/xuma-core/releases

Version 1.3.0.5 is on Github.

This version fixes the "St13runtime_error".

I tested it for 1 day (compiled from nextgen branch) and the error doesnt show up anymore.

9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xuma - Decentralized database | Masternode | Smart Contract | No ICO on: October 09, 2018, 02:12:50 AM
Version 1.3.0.4 is on github.

This will probably be the last update for a while. That's why I recommend everyone to update.

Anyone still using version 1.3.0.2 or below, update is mandatory!

https://github.com/xumacoin/xuma-core/releases

please use the following addnodes:

Code:
addnode=93.178.98.224:19777
addnode=95.174.101.14:19777
addnode=212.237.29.88:19777
addnode=93.186.253.211:19777
addnode=194.182.80.175:19777
addnode=50.59.59.191:19777
addnode=50.59.59.192:19777
addnode=50.59.59.247:19777

Also use the bootstrap file provided on github to get to the latest chain.
direct link:
https://github.com/xumacoin/xuma-core/releases/download/v1.3.0.4/bootstrap.tar.gz

-> decompress it into the mainnet folder
-> move the xuma.conf file one Folder up into the .xuma directory
-> delete the blocks directory, it will be built up automatically from the boostrap file
-> delete the file "peers.dat"
-> add the addnode lines at the end of xuma.conf file
-> start wallet again. It will import the blocks from disk first (could take some time)

Thank you for your patience and understanding
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xuma - Decentralized database | Masternode | Smart Contract | No ICO on: October 08, 2018, 07:10:51 PM
Hello, all fixed and running!

Quote
Please Update to Version 1.3.0.3 because the 0.2 had a mining Problem which caused several chain splits!
Attention to comply with PivX Code and to not make coding errors the xuma.conf file is now located inside the .xuma Folder!
--> Now mostly Up2Date with latest PivX Code!!
--> simply copy your file from mainnet one folder up into the xuma Folder!
--> A bootstrap File will be provided so that you can get on the right chain.
--> The Mac-Wallet seems to be crashing; i can't test it - maybe install libboost manually.

Sorry for all the stress - but at least now is action at Xuma Smiley

Download the Wallet here: https://github.com/xumacoin/xuma-core/releases

make the Update also on the Masternodes.

A Bootstrap file can be downloaded here:

https://github.com/xumacoin/xuma-core/releases/download/v1.3.0.3/bootstrap.tar.gz

You can mine Xuma on:

https://pool.coin-miners.info

https://lambda.venus.it

http://mpool.cronyx.org

All 3 pools running latest version and are in sync.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xuma - Decentralized database | Masternode | Smart Contract | No ICO on: October 08, 2018, 02:21:34 PM
Latest wallet version is 1.3.0.3

you can find compiled version here (Attention, its a different github Repo):

https://github.com/flyinghuman/xuma-builds/branches

Because of stucked wallets on different mining pools a chain split occurred 2 times already.

Better do not send any coins or withdraw them from an exchange. The coins might be lost!

The community + Devs are making every effort to resolve the matter. There will be another announcement and a bootstrap (so you don't have to syncronize the wallets from scratch) for download.

What's the term - oh yeah.. "thats Crypto"!   Cool
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xuma - Decentralized database | Masternode | Smart Contract | No ICO on: October 06, 2018, 12:38:26 PM
Time to update your wallets and masternodes!

New code base, masternode payments are working. It might have some issues to "follow" the blockchain. Seems like its sync in chunks.

So, keep an eye on github for further updates.

https://github.com/xumacoin/xuma-core/releases

All in all, its a mandatory update and its working.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Xuma - Decentralized database | Masternode | Smart Contract | No ICO on: September 30, 2018, 07:31:27 PM
Blockchain stuck at 299999 because at 300000 there's a switch from PoW to PoS and until now, nobody found the important block #300000.

Team announced:

Quote
If we don't find the first PoS Block until Monday evening (CEST), we will release the update of the wallet which introduces a complete new codebase!

This update will include:
- increase last POW Block for 30240 Blocks (until 330240) so everyone have enough time to update the Masternodes and Wallets (~3 Weeks)
- in this time mining will be enabled again
- it will be a mandatory update, so we have to also talk with the exchanges which can be difficult!
- lower the block output to gain more value (80/40/20/10/5 for now, halving every half year)

I hope all goes well..fingers crossed.

Hi friends.

Long story short!

After we pushed out the baikal miner version two of multi-algo miner that can support X11/X13/X14/X15/Quark/Qubit, it exicted many mining players.

Since that, we spend many times on perfecting the updating scheme Now, it's done!

Detailed information please check with the below links:
For Google: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B1GBwN5-i39VcWJDdm1BUjhZTjg
For baidu: http://pan.baidu.com/s/1jHAGcLo

Haahaa! Dude.. welcome in 2018! You quoted an announcement posted in 2016 (for older Multi-Algo-Miners by Baikal)!

Something different: I saw peaple were talking about mining Keccak with an X10. Do you think this will be released one day? Or just rumors?

I know. if I restore the old version, the balance shows. when I put a new wallet with the old wallet.dat - balance 0. Now I'll try another option. I will put a new wallet on another computer and make a transaction from an old wallet.

I did the same... Old wallet.dat to the new data directory...and it was working without problems.
ALL coins are in my new wallet.
You did something wrong, if you lost your coins! Was the new wallet synced? You restarted the wallet, after you put the old wallet.dat to the datata directory?

Can you provide a few nodes please? My wallet is connecting to 1 node only, and this connection get dropped after some minutes. After restarting the wallet, its connecting to this node again for a while, until its dropping this single node again. Never found more nodes, never connected to more nodes.  Huh

applicable starting now!

happy mining.

(this is just a temporary offer, and will be back to 1:1000 after ZETTEL block height 200k)

Continuing to mine a coin that you are sure will increase in value is otherwise always going to be far more profitable than shutting your miner off.

Then its better to mine it with GPU, because its much more efficient than a B3.

Bitmain Antminer B3 was built to offload non-seller called SOPHON BM1680.

They developed those chips 1,5+ years ago and nobody wanted them. B3 (Sophon chips) are not developed to mine Bytom.

With some weird coding tricks Bitmain successfully managed to make those chips mining Bytom. Then they put all BM1680 into some aluminium boxes and called it "Tensority Asic". Haahaa! I thought ASIC's are chips, special produced to do computing operations at max efficiency.

If all GPU's (maybe CPU also?) are much more efficient than BM1680, why should I use Antminer B3?

@Bitmain: Stop telling us lies about hacked/stolen code! YOU can develope chips/ASIC! Some non professional coders managed to beat your B3 using GPU!! GPU is not a specialized chip to mine Bytom. Thats the best proof, your BM1680 is not built to mine Bytom.

Bitmain, you scammed me!

You sold a super hightec special developed ASIC to me,which is NOT! You sold me old and almost useless chips, packed into a box and telling me "look whats that? Our new ASIC Miner!".

somewhere in the thread I and others mentioned this. These units are the A.I. units for artificial intellegence...been aroud a year or so....so they built a coin around

the units when they became and/or saturated the A.I. market. Bitmain: rinse, wash, repeat.

And of course it did not work, but damn they moved a lot of old A.I units out of production for new A.I. units from the $$$ to be put into newer research labs...of course

they expected it to work well enough that they could rinse/wash/repeat that as well

so yeah, it was a 'trap' indeed...consumers left holding the bag...I new this to be true ..in that THE NEXT DAY they had these B3 miners to sell ie...no pre-orders...

sorry for your loss, we have all been there.

myself, I doubt I will buy any 1 algo miner from anyone again, FPGA maybe or something where firmware can be adjusted...I think pow-scrypt may actually die

from bitmain's stunts....as a 'former' big miner (30 plus units in a data hall of various mnfg's) I'm out...to hobby mode..IMHO this is not the time to buy equipment

if you do want equipment i'd hoard coin and wait for a 'hopeful' 25% pump of the current price..then consider it. At this price of 8k sideways price it makes no sense

and at 6k it makes no sense ....this added to the only option is bitmain etc...best maybe to wait till 2019 and look for new options and/or save crypto on the pump.

w/o a pump ...no reason to get new equipment even if it made sense.....sideways price is always sketchy to dump eventually again IMHO

again sorry for your loss

What I wrote is not proven. Its my personal view after lots of research. Everybody please do the same and you will see how fishy this is.

This IS proven:

The Sophon BM1680 chips are inside the B3.

As a good start, check this thread and you will see:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3870665.0

Next, look whats inside this AI-cards. Check when it was released. Here is a link to SC1:

https://www.sophon.ai/product/introduce/sc1.html

Google will help you to find out, how the machine was promoted by Bitmain.

I want the whole community should be aware about this case. This was too big to sweep it under the carpet!

Again: Not all is proven (yet), build your own personal opinion and help the people who bought the B3.
