1  Economy / Goods / Re: [CLOSED] Casascius 1oz Silver Bitcoin Rounds (2013) on: September 15, 2013, 02:02:42 AM
I received a package from "Mr. O" today as well.  They look great!

Made sure to leave some positive trust feedback as well.

Thanks Og and Mike!

3  Economy / Goods / Re: [1/20][GROUP BUY #2] Casascius 1oz Silver Physical Bitcoin Rounds (2013) on: July 09, 2013, 02:40:20 PM
PM sent.  If group buy #2 works out, I'd be interested in 2 coins.

Thanks!
4  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Should I go with 50btc for mining or Slush's pool on: April 28, 2013, 06:47:50 PM
I mined with Slush for a few months and had no complaints.  The only feature that I would have liked to see over there (unless I missed it) was an "on-demand payout" button.  Other than that, I had no problems at all.

Thank you all for a very useful list!

One item that I would love to see added, is the definition and/or explanation of a "change address".

I've read about several situations where people using paper wallets have lost some of their BTC because they may not have been aware that, depending on the client they imported their key into, the remainder of their unspent BTC is not necessarily sent back to the original address on the paper wallet.  Hopefully a clear explanation of that might help prevent such a loss in the future.

I'm pretty sure I have a decent understanding of it, but I don't think I'm qualified to provide an "official" definition.  If someone is willing to add that to the list, that would be great.

Thanks!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple: How to get free XRP?? on: April 28, 2013, 04:52:58 PM
I missed out on the free giveaway here too, however I found a lot of people selling XRP on Bitmit.  Some are definitely charging WAY too much, but there are others that are offering more reasonable deals out there if you look around and do the math.  I bought my initial XRP that way a few weeks ago.  It was very easy in my experience.

If they were still around 20, I'd be very tempted to ask for early release from "Newbie Jail" so I could put in a bid.  At 30+...  that's getting out of my comfort zone.

Hi everyone!  I've been a lurker here for a while, and I appreciate all of the great information everyone has posted over the last several months.  I guess it's about time I sign up and (hopefully) contribute to the discussion.

I look forward to seeing everyone around the forums!
