1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leave Crypto? on: September 13, 2018, 10:31:14 PM

Thank you for this thread, I am sure it is useful for lots of people, it makes us think and calm down. We have been waiting for a long time now, and some people just have no patience left, but it's so silly to leave crypto now, after all this time waiting for a change. I suggest we help and encourage each other to stay strong))
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 80% of ICOs are Scams on: September 13, 2018, 10:11:13 PM
I couldn’t agree on this. Some of the ICOs are not really scam but only failed to promote their project. Lack of promotion cannot make a project flourish.

I agree with you, there are lots of scam projects out there, but there are also projects who just fail to achieve their goals and fail to follow their plan according to some problems that occur on the way. But it's not fait to call them scam, because they try hard to succeed.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to Choose a Good ICO on: September 13, 2018, 10:08:57 PM
Hi guys, there are so many ICOs, such as those listed in https://www.coinschedule.com. It's pretty hard to review them one by one.

Which elements I need to consider, the team? the product? the promoting technology? or something else?

Thanks for any suggestions Smiley

For me, icodrops.com is a very useful source with upcoming projects, with all the necessary information. At first, I choose several projects there, according to the information they offer and after that I make my own research.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you find interesting ICO ? on: September 13, 2018, 09:38:58 PM
I am looking for a good ICO on the ICO rating pages. There I will choose ICO with score 4.0-5.0 . These ICOs are appreciated by many different factors of the appraisers. I believe them

I use icodrops.com to surf for a project to invest or for a bounty to participate. There is also a telegram channel that sends notifications in order to help you in finding a project.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market is GREEN - Do you trust it on: September 13, 2018, 09:30:30 PM
Do you think the market will stay green or turn red?

It not an easy call

I say green

Oh)) I saw the date of this post and it made me smile)) If only we knew then that in almost in half a year nothing really has changed, hopefully, we'll witness some improvements by the end of the year...
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the time to buy! on: September 13, 2018, 09:28:05 PM
"Buy when there is blood in the streets" "Be greedy when others are fearful"

This is the time to buy if you want to become rich, The top coins are at bargain prices, 200 dollars for an eth, (that is an easy 5x if you hold).

I believe the whales and wall street manipulators have been keeping prices down and shaking out the noobs so they can accumulate for very cheap prices.

I agree completely, we are in a similar situation as last year, but there will not be such a simple repetition, we need to be ready for all the scenarios, I think there will be some slides for a while. Will wait.

I really hope, you, guys are right, but, frankly, I am getting sick and tired from this waiting and holding situation.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will every crypto coin survive? on: September 13, 2018, 09:22:55 PM
I really doubt that all the altcoins will survive this "great crypto depression". So at least the half of it will disappear forever, and I don't think there will be lots of mourning. That's why I don't really trust altcoins and I don't choose them for long-term investments, I learn from my mistakes..
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it better to buy during ICO or Market? on: September 13, 2018, 09:02:24 PM
I think it totally depends on a currency you are willing to buy, but, as for me, I prefer participating in ICO, the price is much better than buying it for exchange price. But it's riskier, because you can't be one hundred per cent sure, you will see your money again, but the situation is pretty much the same with all kinds of investments.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too many ICOs on: September 13, 2018, 08:44:11 PM
I would say there are too many ICOs that don't deserve to exist, that's for sure. And, unfortunately, there are only a few worthy projects. The market situation is very tough for almost every project now, for both good projects and not good ones. I really hope it's going to improve and we'll get the profit we deserve.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties are STUPID on: September 13, 2018, 08:30:13 PM
In my opinion what i dont like in bountys is the participators limit, best for bounty is 200 peoples not 600 like in many bounty events, other thing is the dump u dont get ur reward but when they send ur funds on wallet price is down! Many of bounty is scam or cant collect soft cap and u dont get anything from it!

I totally agree with you, especially about the idea of limited number of bounty participants. This is so fair, I respect bounty campaigns with such attitude.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will every crypto coin survive? on: September 10, 2018, 10:51:45 AM
I think that 95% of crypto coins and tokens won't survive and the reason is that a crypto coin in order to survive and get value it has to be accepted as a way of payment for purchase goods or services.
Very few coins will manage to do it at the end of the day and of course these coins will get enormous value.
The only thing you have to do is to find out which coins will enter the market of real currencies.

That is a reasonable explanation, I totally agree.

In addition, I would say that people are loosing their interest in altcoins, well, definitely in the old ones.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying NEO on: September 10, 2018, 08:11:03 AM
Do you think is a good time for buying some NEO now? Whit many Ico coming could be the last chance before the price is going to increase much.

My purchase of NEO turned out to be a nice move, I bought it in order to participate in a couple of ICOs, and saved some money, because the ethereum decreased. I think, investing in NEO at this very moment might be a profitable move.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT IS RISK IN INVESTING IN CRYPTOCURRENCY on: September 10, 2018, 08:02:28 AM
Making investments is a risky way of getting profit, that's for sure. And crypto investments can be described as the riskiest ones. Crypto os volatile, not stable, not regulated. No wonder, it's risky to put money in it, but on the bright side is the opportunity to earn a nice amount of money.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoin To Buy Now? on: September 06, 2018, 11:11:11 PM
What altcoins are you guys picking up for cheap in this dip?
I don't think it's a nice idea to buy them at the moment. It's tough for altcoins to recover from such dump.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties are STUPID on: September 06, 2018, 11:07:29 PM
I am pretty aware of the fact that this "shouting' name of the thread was created specially for making people furious))
My only advice to the author, if you think ICO and bounties are stupid, don't participate in them. You can invest your money in BTC, and live happily ever after.
Why bother posting about such stupid things?
You were talking about hero and legendary accounts wth low quality posts. So you are welcome to become an example of your own, cause being a senior member and creating similar to a dozen other threads can also be considered as a low quality forum behaviour
16  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why you should stay off from market prediction on: September 06, 2018, 10:57:43 PM
As an investor one thing you shouldn't engage yourself with is Predictions, if you want to be successfully in this Crypto ecosystem, you need to stay off any form of market prediction.

Here are few reasons why you shouldn't engaged with it (market/price prediction)

1. Predictions can be wrong

2. Listening to predictions makes you a speculator

3. Listening to predictions makes you an onlooker

4. Price prediction gives you nothing for today, only false hope

5. Listening to price prediction makes you think in one direction

Finally

Don’t let speculation and assumption make you decide what to do.

All kinds of predictions cannot be 100% trusted, but there are some characteristics and indexes that can help to predict. But it is definitely not the only thing you need to focus one, while choosing the strategy.
17  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that the HODL approach is good bitcoin? on: September 06, 2018, 10:42:30 PM
According to my experience, bitcoin and ethereum are the only investments good enough for long-term holding. The rest of the tokens are just getting less valuable. And at this very moment I have lots of tokens that I don't know what to do with..Like rivets, comsa, zonto, etc. So from now on, I am not going to hold anything but ethereum and bitcoin.
18  Other / Archival / Re: Why to Invest in ICO? on: September 06, 2018, 10:19:43 PM
Investment in ICO is a great way to earn money. We all know that it's challenging to choose the right project, this is why the risk is high. But if you find the right ICO, you can earn a lot. For instance, Quark chain. This project had a great result.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if Bounty is scam? on: September 06, 2018, 07:45:14 AM
How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.

I participate in bounty campaigns, but usually they are bitcointalk bounties. I feel very insecure about translations, it is a very time-consuming and hard work. I don't thin that there are some clear instructions on how to choose a worthy project. But to avoid scam you need to look at their website, whitepaper roadmaps, ann and bounty threads, for sure. And you need to analyze it if it looks real. And for sure, you need to look it in some sources like icodrops.com.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will keep people from getting into cryptocurrency? on: September 06, 2018, 07:37:36 AM
I thought about the unpredictability of bitcoin and its current status and it made me realized that this might drive people away from getting into cryptocurrency. What do you think are the other reasons that will keep people from using bitcoin?

I am sure the lack of information definitely effects the situation. Some people get some knowledge about crypto, and they sell everything if the price goes down and quit))
