1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [MNY] [INO]: MONKEY CAPITAL INITIAL NOTE OFFERING on: May 15, 2018, 02:12:35 PM
ICX probably more interesting to be honest than NEO so I don’t care. If it’s got icx that’s something

You don't find it interesting that Dunaton managed to convert NEO into an ERC token?  Everyone in blockchain is talking about it.

ACCEPTED PAYMENT: COE + OTHER ERC TOKENS (e.g. EOS, ICX, NEO etc; SPECIFICS TBA)

I can't wait to send all of my NEO "tokens" to the smart contract!

I'm sure this will lead to CRAAZYYYYY profits for investors Daniel Harrison.
Investors are going to be LINING UP to partner with join the class action against Daniel Harrison.
No one knows how to lay dump a market like Daniel Harrison.

He's definitely the FUTR (Fraudulent, Underhanded, Thieving Reprobate) of crypto.
Avoid this and any other project associated with this snake oil salesman.

4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🔶 ICO is Live 🔶 Purchase is automated on GainerCoin.com 🔶 on: January 15, 2018, 12:16:16 AM

ICO hard cap of 100 Masternodes is touched today as 100 Masternodes got sold.

You can login tomorrow in 18 hours from now to purchase more GNR coins

What??  My purchase was pending while this happened and just went through.
So now I've got 5000 coins and I can't even set up a node for them?

Where was this hard cap published?

Pretty sure you can set up a node if you have 5k coins.

There were 102 nodes earlier today

Yep, it was my misunderstanding. I was able to get my MN up and running with no issues.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto watchlist / portfolio trackers (Rainmeter for Windows desktop skins) on: November 26, 2017, 05:52:32 PM
Good job! The skin seems pretty exhaustive. Especially useful if you can customize which cryptocurrencies are immediately displayed.

Been a fan of rainmeter before but only for aesthetic purposes but tell me, how heavy is this on CPU usage? I wouldn't want this slowing down my regular and other tasks.
Also from where does this fetch data from?

Thanks! Yes, it was a lot of work to be honest, but I'm happy with the results.  I haven't had any issues with CPU so far and I only have 4GB RAM.  You can always limit the number of coins you track (both skins are adjustable) or use the small / medium variants to reduce the load.

The tracker uses coinmarketcap and the portfolio / watchlist uses cryptocompare for data.

Hello everyone,

I wasn't satisfied with the available ticker / widget options for tracking crypto prices, so I decided to make my own.   Hopefully some of you will find them useful.
The first tracks CoinMarketCap data. You can view a list of assets sorted by market cap, with an adjustable starting point and count.
The second is a cryptocurrenty portfolio / watchlist. By modifying the Portfolio-User.inc file, you can track a specific list of assets by symbol, and view your holdings and USD value for each.

haha! this is exactly the type of account I just described!
Brand new, freshly signed up, just to participate in this program. But I don't think you'll receive a payout this way. We'll see.

Ok, that was offtopic. Let's get back to topic! Let's talk all things WCX. Ready for the World Exchange?  Cool

Well, I came here after seeing a reddit referral post and not finding enough information on the WCX web site.  Getting the payout would be nice, but I'm more interested in getting my questions answered.  I plan on investing a lot more than $10 if the devs can deliver what they're promising so far.

another question that came to my mind today, from where will you legally operate? will you be based in the United States or in Europe or elsewhere? Sorry if this has already been answered, couldn't find it.

Cheers!

This is a big concern for me.  I'd like to have some clarification about the legality of the dividend payouts for customers in the US.  I know that Iconomi and Lykke are both facing obstacles with the SEC and I imagine that WCX would have similar challenges.
