I remember that 2k ebtc giveaway and price almost 2$. Still dead github though

you are right, no more news from git or twitter

Our twitter is @ebtcfoundation. About the github, the only public repository we have, is the smartcontract one, it won't get updated unless we need to upgrade the token smartcontract.

There are close to 2M tokens locked in etherdelta and decentrix smartcontracts.
Currently there are around 19M tokens circulating.
We had a number of failed transfers that we are currently prioritizing, they will total around 170k eBTC.

(-_-)$$$$@ll_day don't comment on something you don't fully understand, you're spreading a lot of innaccurate information.

11.3M to 19M is a big gap. Can we please see the 19M breakdown so we as investors are informed on your calculations?

You can go through the transfer events from our disbursement address or check:

There is a new listing of EBTCNEW in Etherdelta. Is it the swapped token?

EBTC listing is also erased from Etherdelta.

Announcement says that the swapped token will be for those under the block 4462000 but it is only 4458863.

Part of preparation, nothing to worry about. Stop by our telegram channel to get all the updates first Smiley

How is this related to eBTC?

Try a little research (google): "beware of slack scam"

So i just sit back and relax with my ebtc in my MEW wallet and you will send me the new tokens?
Great, seems easy. Good news right? Or am I missing something?
I guess I'll stay on this crazy ride a little longer.

It won't happen automatically. You have to send it to them.
Just make sure you have your eBTC tokens on a wallet (you control/own the private key) before block 4462000.
If the tokens are already on the private wallet you associated with EtherDelta, you can leave them there. Just don't leave any tokens on ED's smartcontract.

From the released guide FAQ:

What do I as a token holder need to do to receive the new eBTC?
You need to remove all your old eBTC tokens from all exchanges and send them to a private wallet like MEW, Parity, etc.
We will distribute the new more secure eBTC once block 4462000 arrives and the new smart contract is activated.

What should I do with my OLD eBTC once the new more secure tokens arrive?
Once you receive your new eBTC, the old eBTC will become worthless, so they can be simply forgotten about or burned.

What if I leave my eBTC in an exchange (hot) wallet and not in a private wallet?
You will not receive the new eBTC.

How soon can I start trading the new eBTC tokens?
We will be notifying the exchanges before the token swap happens. Please consult directly with your exchange for the
details about when the new eBTC will be available to trade.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Different programming languages for smart contracts on: October 21, 2017, 03:13:53 AM
Tezos uses Michelson language. Functional, aims to provide more simple, secure and auditable code.

Ethereum's Viper has similar goals (still experimental).
