Huh? What are you talking about? What did you just sell in ebay to remove your already existing tax obligation? Didn't you just sold all the miners in 2017 that's why you have a tax obligation now? You wouldn't even have local sales and compensating tax if you didn't sell anything coming from abroad. Or you are talking about some of the miners you are still selling now? If that's what you are talking about you just made your tax obligation bigger because you have sold another miner online, it doesn't really mitigate anything at all.
Hey, I guess there's a miscommunication here, so let me be explicit. In 2017, I purchased a large number of cryptocurrency mining machines directly from Bitmain, shipped to NYC. Many of these were purchased months or weeks before I would actually receive them. They were all then received in NYC to my relative's personal home, and then shipped out to customers all around the world. And yeah, 99% of these were sold on eBay, so I have good records of everything going on. Does that help? If it means anything, I do everything personally and have not incorporated, or have any official business.

I immediately sold everything online via eBay. Thanks for the advice, I'll start doing some homework.

I just got hit with an 8% NY state tax on $66k worth of declared miners I resold back in 2017. So a bill for about $8k. https://imgur.com/a/w4bwtgyAnybody see any way out of this, or think a lawyer might be able to help me out? Otherwise, I'll have to take out a loan or consider bankruptcy.. :/

Correct. The total owed will just be around $75 which is 2.6% of the original stated value. No big deal.

On the docs I received. It says the liquidation date is 0/0/0000.
Perhaps that's something I could use to my benefit? It really looks like the employee I'm dealing with doesn't give a shit about anything.

Total bill ends up being about $75 or something. The new fee is just 2.6% of the original declared value. Person at FedEx who was communicating with me via email just doesn't really have any regard for grammar and spacing, and how to spell fedex.com.
A 6084 is a TYPE of bill, that they assumed I would understand, rather than meaning a bill for $6084. Crisis averted, thanks all.

I'm out here looking up how likely it is I would get sued and how they would ever serve me papers since I don't live in America. But you guys may be giving me some semblance of hope. I remember getting a similar notice from UPS from something a while back, but it was only for a few hundred, so I just paid it without any fuss despite it coming in MONTHS after the fact. What's weird is her response to my email is written in garbage english, and the fedex.com URL in her signature isn't even spelled correctly. I called up the phone number and got to a voicemail that did match the name though. I have not yet received any instructions on how to pay. The V9s were imported on Feb 14, 2018. I do see the thing about disputing for $75 each. Should I be talking to a lawyer about this? Here's all the info I have if you guys don't mind taking a look.. I suppose I could take out a loan to pay this off, but honestly, I'll probably just dodge it if I can. https://imgur.com/a/X9xil4f

I got two of these available with the breakout boards and pci cables available

my electricity cost is .14 USD per kwh, at 1600w on two machines, I'm getting about 30GH. So I guess this isn't profitable for me to mine right? Just wanted to get my math checked over, as I found a loss when I typed these numbers into WTM and tried to check the rate on starpool which is .000018 per GH/day I believe.

You should launch this as a mineable token as well
