Honestly, just about any router will work, though you might want something with a higher reliability.
You just need to set a larger subnet size. For instance the 10.0.0.0 net can route 16777216 IP's.
172.16.0.0 - 172.31.255.255 = 1048576 and 192.168.0.0-192.168.255.2255 = 65536
You just have to setup your subnet to the right size.

Sorry, but I really think you still need the fans to circulate coolant through the fins. Merely having a pump in the tank will cause most of the coolant to follow the least path of resistance, ie flow around the miner. Unless you have some other way to jet coolant through the fins, you need the fans.
It would be a shame to build your system to size without fans, and then find out you need them.

Myth indeed. What you are saying is wrong.
They can sell every single miner they build, at a massive profit, they don't have to care about making slower miners. Please at least say "your guess" when you make such a statement, since fact does not match what you've claimed.
And yet somehow, Braiins and what not are able to re-tune tons of lower spec miners to much higher rates reliably. The evidence does not support your claim of fact.

They take a 95TH unit, and re-tune it and it's a 110 TH unit. But they sell it for thousands more. ... Almost got it right but no cigar. There is more to it than that, the faster miners are using better grade chips that can run faster and still be stable. Same thing is done by CPU makers, the various speed CPU's in any 1 family are not different versions- they are the exact same chip design that during testing are binned (graded) for speed and stability. Some can run faster than most, most are on-target and some are slower. No matter what they are all chips have design targets that state min, avg, and max performance to be considered a usable chip and the chips are graded and priced accordingly. Fact of life is that in any given production lot there are far fewer grade-A chips (best) coming off the line than there are grade-B (avg) or grade-C (usable but...) Sure software tweaks can make a miner run faster than what the mfrs sold it as, question is, how stable is it? Same applies to OC'ing your CPU or GPU's. That's mostly a myth. While it's true that they can, and do use chips that aren't able to achieve peak performance, in most cases that's just not the case. Most fabs have very high yield rates these days, and they just don't have enough lower spec chips to meet demand, so they typically use the exact same high performance chips and de-tune them for a lower speed. Why? Because they can sell more of the lower speed units than they can the higher speed units, and by controlling the firmware they make sure people aren't buying the low speed units and clocking them up. Simply put, not everyone can afford top of the line, and there are more people looking to buy less expensive than more. Even if you can afford it, many people prefer the lower speed to save on power and/or heat dissipation.

Original firmware loads fine.
I think you misunderstand. Of course the original firmware loads fine, it's signed with Bitmains key. 3rd party firmware, whether or not they release the source will not load because it's not digitally signed. So it doesn't matter one bit whether they follow the license or not, it cannot be used as of right now. So yeah, it doesn't matter if it's open source or not, you cannot use it.

Oh, I see, I didn't know that. Partly it is understandable from the point of view of the manufacturer, but on the other hand, they should do a much more flexible firmware. Generally I would be happy with a higher level of openness/interoperability/transparency in the mining HW business.
The thing is, Bitmain does that to STOP you from tuning them. They make a lot of money by using market diferrentiation... They take a 95TH unit, and re-tune it and it's a 110 TH unit. But they sell it for thousands more. They don't want you buying the cheap unit and tuning it yourself.

There is more open source code from the miner manufacturers than from any 3rd party firmware.
Doesn't do any good if you need a key to sign the image for it to be loaded into the miner...

I've tried to google this, and all i get are tons of people selling various fans from 5500 - 7500 rpm, all claiming to be exact replacements... which they obviously can't be...
Does anyone know the exact spec of the fans used in the S19? RPM, CFM, connector type?
Has anyone tried to use a higher quality fan that claims to be quieter? I can't imagine it would be much more quieter, but 5-10db would be a nice drop if you can maintain the same air pressure

The S19 series shipped with firmware that requires a digitally signed firmware image to update. So far, nobody seems to have figured out a workaround, thus there are no alternate firmwares available.
They are working on it.. braiins, etc.. but who knows when they'll figure out a workaround.

The cost of mining bitcoin is insignificant compared to the cost of producing, managing, processing, transacting, and destroying fiat currency.
Think about how much energy the federal mint uses to print fiat. How much do banks use, who's only purpose is to transact in fiat? Think lights, heating, cooling, construction of buildings, computers, networking... it's staggering.
Think how much energy is used by the credit card industry. 100's of thousands of employees, most requiring electricity for various purposes (computers, lights, heat, construction, etc..)
I'd bet, on market cap basis, fiat uses orders of magnitude more energy overall than bitcoin.

Apart from what everyone else has said... which is that if someone hoards and drives the scarcity up, someone will eventually offer enough for someone else to sell... The other thing to keep in mind is that if bitcoin became even more scarce, they could just add more subdivisions, smaller than the current satoshi.. you could call them finney's, or if it was really insignificant, wrights So you can keep sub-dividing bit coin and each smaller portion will just get worth more as scarcity increases. The bigger issue is attrition.. the number of people that lose access to their bitcoin forever... that will make bitcoin more scarce than people hoarding it.

I notice that the S19's have two C13 power inputs. Can anyone tell me how much current each C13 draws on an S19j? I'm a little confused... I thought C13 was for 120V? This says it needs 240V. It's not 120V on each input, I take it? Or is this some technique so you can plug them into different circuits to share the load?
I have Nema 6-20P outlets, is it ok to use a Nema 6-20 to dual C13 splitter on the same circuit? Total draw is something like 2900W on my S19j 96T

I have a few S19j’s coming, and I was looking at this method to reduce noise as well. I may have to rethink this.

Ok, it’s been over a year now. Is there any movement on being able to flash custom firmware in s17/S19 models yet?

What's the deal with ThreeEyed?
I was mining on suprnova, and was making about 12RVN an hour with my 5 1080 Ti's.
I switched to ThreeEyed and after 1 hour only made 4RVN.
It's been over a day, and no payout, despite it saying payouts hourly over .001 on the home page.
Why did I only make 1/3 of the coins? Why no payout?
you winding me up? ..or are you a horse Huh?

The security risks have been eliminated and the assets are safe. That doesn't say "nothing was stolen". "assets are safe" could mean they are covering any stolen assets.

Not that surprising, lots of people just selling the free coins they get. I would hold on to them really, one day they will be back up I think and people will regret having sold them this low. But hey your coins so do with it what you want
That's what the Signatum people kept saying...
