1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Loan or Lease | Masternode P2P Decentralized Lending Platform | LOL on: February 03, 2018, 04:13:20 PM
Are you releasing new wallet versions as well?

Also, I'd like to run a masternode on a private VPS; is that possible to configure now or have masternode node not been activated yet?

Is the OSX Wallet going to be up too?
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][JEW] Shekel-Global Decentralized Cryptocurrency-PoS/Masternodes-No ICO on: January 27, 2018, 11:32:46 PM
I've spoken with one of the CryptoBridge admins and I was told that the coins that I have pending in a withdraw transaction will be recovered after the fork to the new JEW wallet and chain will be completed. The coins will be in my JEW wallet on CryptoBridge. The fork is going to be tested on CryptoBridge tomorrow. That's all I know, but that's what I was told.

Hope this info helps someone.

Can anyone calculate the rewards based on the MN specs?

Thanks,

Cryptopia would be nice indeed.
Cryptopia is really expensive, like a hell. But listing ALQO on Cryptopia would be really nice Smiley

Cryptopia is 20BTC... yeah that's a bit steep

I noticed a slight change on ALQO coinmarketcap page. Coinmarketcap used to calculate market capitalization from Total supply of the coin. Now, they calculate market cap from Circulating supply which is probably Total supply less coins locked in masternodes. Nice move to make room for further growth in market cap  Wink

I noticed that this morning as well. While it is good news for outside investors to see the low marketcap – why the change? I haven’t seen any other coin be calculated by this. Why Alqo?

This change was new to the team as well and we were more or less "not happily surprised". In the end the dev decided not to directly contact CMC instead waiting a couple of days and check out if this low market cap will attract more investors eventually. Nevertheless for the fact that there is a lot of talks with financial officials, banks and so on this move from CMC was not good at all.

Lets see what the next days will look like and there will be action in that manner soon.

I think that's the smart way to go.

PoS and Masternodes are running perfectly fine, you can also now find us on Masternodes.online !
Master node requirement is 25,000 JEW
We are now only on stocks.exchange, new exchange coming soon (fee has been paid just waiting implementation)
25BTC 24hr volume, not even listed on CMC yet, this is just the beginning my friends.

What will be the new exchanger?

I think the price of a coin will only grow now.

We are now listed on CryptoBridge!

Sweet!

Crypto Bridge exchange is the best place (currently) to buy ALQO. It is a very nicely done exchange I must say.

-snip-

There are many packages that you don't need for the wallet, and which are meant for services only. For example you won't be needing the following packages at all:
Code:
npm nodejs nodejs-legacy redis-server software-properties-common

The wallet is not written on javascript nor java, so what would it really need the nodejs for example? Also reddis is usually used for databases in combination with nodejs, which is why it's not needed at all. I added the software properties common there as well, because i've never had to install that because it's meant for much different things rather than compiling C++ code. Also after compilation i'd run "sudo make install" just because then it adds the PATHS so you can just call bitsend daemon whatever the location on the terminal is.

Hello.
I see message in wallet: Warning: unknown new rules activated (versionbit 7)
What is it?

Bitsend Core version v0.14.0.3-unk (32-bit)

That's normal. I think that the wallet thinks that the segwit activation does not belong there, however it does and atleast for me transfers work normally so you don't have to worry about that warning at all.

We change it in the next version.

Kind Regards Christian

Sorry, I am confused. Current version is 0.14.0.2 on github? It's less than v0.14.0.3.

I don't think that is true, I've been running 14.0.4 since Chris uploaded it, built from source on linux.

Here's the link: https://github.com/LIMXTEC/BitSend/releases/tag/v0.14.0.4

Segwit is now active on BitSend, confirmed working by my transaction here: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/bsd/tx.dws?561529.htm

Thank you, yes it is true. We are now the first masternode coin with newest coinbase and segwit. I am very happy about that.

Segwit with Core 0.14.x
The Segwit opens up new possibilities like the Lightning Network, Tumblebit, Schnorr Signatures, Confidential Transactions, Cross-chain atomic swaps, and so on.
We are already exploring all these new functions, and testing the water. We expect the first implementations as fast as possible.

Kind Regards Christian

Chris, that's really awesome Smiley

What are the exact differences between Bitsend and Bitcore? The question is legitimate since the devs are the same, and BTX is getting a lor more of attention from the markets right now. I own both coins, but i am trying to understand if it makes a sense to keep them both or if there is some redundancy.

BitCore has many parameters similar to Bitcoin. 21 Million coin supply, 10 min block time, same halving interval. The distribution is also different from Bitsend. The airdop is based on stake (compounding interest), and there are also BTX airdropped to BTC holders.

Bitsend is a Masternode coin, which is the primary distinction. This changes the economic model, although both BSD and BTX incentivize people to hold coins rather than sell them for short term profit. 210,000,000 BSD and 180-second block time -- very fast.

Clearly more energy has been put into BitCore lately with the recent BTC airdrop and addition to HitBTC. The pendulum will swing back. Working product, competent developers, not over-hyped. Both of these coins have bright futures. Take the lack of hype as an opportunity.

no you should dump before devs do BTX is being taken over by the bitcoin community ~ dev here is too greedy :\ BTX will take over this BSD is done<<<
what makes you think this will ever happen? What makes you say dev here is to greedy, hope it not bcus you weren't accepted in airdrop?

because i'm an insider >.> these devs are not doing their jobs and keeping the pre-mined coins for their own greed :\ not cool brah<<<

There are no 'pre-mined' coins. If you are going to spew poison, at the very least please get your facts straight.

Hello.

My question about masternode payments.
Now, here: https://www.mybitsend.com/masternode
Masternodes Online : 220
Your network share : 0.455% Reward Size : 20 BSD
Your Daily Claim : 2.102
Payout daily
Bitsend : 42.045 BSD
Is it true or just advertising?

Since 1 of November masternodes count drop down from 360 to 230, but payments still old ~ 27 BSD/day.
Why?
Graph here: https://www.mybitsend.com/#masternode

any idea why masternodes count dropped down from 360 to 230? Do people selll their nodes, cuz they make good profits?

i guess so.they made the nodes with 1000$-1500$ ..so yes, they make profit now

Where do you have that 27 BSD/Day from? You will have to check over multiple MN to get a good number I think.
Don't think that the reward can be wrong. (*)

The MN drop is strange. I try to understand that myself. If they sell than that lowers the price but we see that the MN count is going down and the price up. Makes no sense.

But for those that keep their MN their reward climbs double due to less MN and higher BSD price.

What fork at 25. Nov? I must have missed something. Is there an announcement somewhere?

(*) Edit: I agree with your observation just checked my MNs. They should get 2 block rewards per 24h but it's less.. more in the range that you say.

Checked the Blockchain and this is fine:

last 12h 236 blocks (target is) 240
last 24h 485 blocks (target is) 480

Guess we will have to check the MN count

Bingo..the MN count my masternodes see is 375 and not 220.
So the MN count on those pages are wrong.

(at least that explains why the price didn't drop..there is no MN selling)

p.s. why was the masternode list command removed? That would be very helpfull here to get a clue what is going on.

The masternode status for about 100 or so nodes is POS_ERROR, which does not stop the master nodes from mining. So the correct masternode count can be seen via bitsend-cli masternode count (which as of right now 380).

So the masternodes count didn't drop, the issue with the bitsend website reporting masternode count because it only counts masternodes with status of ENABLED.

BUYER BEWARE

This is a classic ponzi scheme. There is no real use for this coin so the only buyers are people who are wanting to run a master node. When there are too many master nodes and ROI goes down to nothing there will be no more buyers left for this coin and everybody will be stuck and unable to sell. The only people who are making anything are the ones that got in early and are selling into the people buying master nodes. You have been warned.  caveat emptor

This can be true, however, there's already over 80% of coins staked to run masternodes, so there just is not enough coins in circulation to pull off a scheme like you are describing. Maybe if there were 20% of coins staked, then yes. The way it is right now, you are safe in running masternode(s) and keep mining the coins, it will take a while before there's any real danger of this coin tanking.

One way it can tank that's highly unlikely (since 80% of coins are staked...), is if the majority of people with masternodes (those making up the aforementioned 80%), sell off their coins.

Also keep in mind, this coin is only over a month old.

Cheers...

◢◤ Development Update and Roadmap 2017- Bitsend the first Masternode Coin with Segwit Support
10/5/2017

[23:33, 5.10.2017] Steve Mueller: We made a big step forward with the new Bitsend 0.14.03 build. We entered a  completely new stage because we left the Dash Core fork and developed a completely new unique code base .

After some investigation we didn't find any other crypoto currency with a working 0.14 Masternode system!  We are very proud to achieved that goal.

It is recommend to download the newest Bitsend version 0.14.03 for desktop clients, nodes and masternodes.
Segwit will be activated from block 400000.

We partnered with coinomi. They are currenntly working on a BitSend listing in their android app service.
In the next weeks it will be also possible to use that Multicoin app as a SPV BitSendwallet

At the end of this year we are hard working to present a BitSend Electrum Solution. This will be a big step forward for a SPV wallet and also for web applications.

Joshafest works currently on a smart contract solution for Bitsend (This process is actually in 'alpha' phase, we cant promise a final release date yet)

We are proud about our development which we build without any ICO or foreign investments.

Here you will find more informations about BitSend, masternodes and about the new Core 0.14 :
https://bitsend.info/the-first-masternodecoin-with-core-0-14-and-segwit

Kind Regards
Joshafest, Kaali, Steve, Jon, Lauda, Mczarnek  and Christian

After upgrading bitsend-cli getinfo returns a message:

"errors": "This is a pre-release test build - use at your own risk - do not use for mining or merchant applications

Should this just be ignored?
