1  Other / Off-topic / Creating animated videos. Need help. on: October 21, 2017, 09:26:29 AM
Hello,

I've seen videos of this style--simple animations and transitions in a format reminiscent of an infographic--become exponentially more common over the last few years, to the point where they seem to be literally everywhere. Is there a name for this particular type or style of animation explainer video? Even how does one actually make these? They seem, at least from their outward appearance, to be fairly low cost and visually appealing, so I imagine they'd make a good (if somewhat overly common) marketing vehicle.
Can you guys suggest me a few free software to make Animated Video and to give voice to that video?
Also, it should not show watermark.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.
2  Other / Off-topic / doing whiteboard training on camera .Need help. on: October 09, 2017, 01:27:40 PM
Hello,

I want to start doing whiteboard training on camera. What whiteboard do you recommend?I’m trying to use the Whiteboard Video Animation, but I cannot find the way to get it.I was wondering does anyone have any experience with using whiteboard animation videos on youtube to get views. I was going to get a whiteboard animation done, have it go to a landing page and then to the offer which by the way has a whiteboard video already there was well. Can anyone with experience since I am new let me know if this is a good idea or not? Should I do some other type of youtube video since the offer has a whiteboard video as well?

Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.

6  Other / Off-topic / Fastest 2D animation explainer workflow on: September 08, 2017, 09:35:18 AM
Hello,

I would like to create some 2D animations as an amateur side project, which will include vector and raster art, audio (voice, music and sounds), and lip syncing.

I'm not a professional graphics artist, I do know how to use some software to some extent, like Photoshop, Illustrator, Inkscape, Gimp and others.

I would like to produce the 2d Animation Explainer in the shortest time possible because I have other things to do, so I would like to know what workflow would be the fastest and what software should I use.
I would prefer to use free and open source software if possible.

I already looked into Synfig and OpenToonz and some other tools, but there is no easy to setup lip syncing on them, maybe I could use another software for this.

I think it would be faster to use a bone/skeletal animation method to rig and animate the characters. Drawing frame by frame would take too long.

I also think that I could grab images on the internet and use them instead of drawing everything, I know that some images may have a copyright that won't allow me to use them.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.
7  Other / Off-topic / Promotional video production for a small company? on: September 06, 2017, 12:00:21 PM
Hello,

My friends and I own a small scale web development company. It is a new one and is still in the early stages with only a small amount of marketing going on so far. We would like to create a Brand Promo Video to promote our company online. At first we thought about hiring professional commercial production teams like MJM Media in West Hamilton (link is external). But as we are a small company, we want to make it as least expensive as possible.
So we may try creating a video our own. We have a few people who can take decent videos and do minor editings. We would love some advice on softwares to use for edits and hardwares to do the shooting.
I have heard that some prefer using a DSLR to shoot videos  than normal handycams. Is that a good idea? We have a Sony Handycam and a Canon DSLR. Which is the best device to shoot better videos?

Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.
8  Economy / Web Wallets / Mobile Wallet Issue on: August 21, 2017, 12:33:59 PM
Hello,

so a couple weeks ago I downloaded a android wallet. Sent some miota from bitfinex to the wallet to test it out and it showed up within a minute which was great. Next day it showed a zero balance, then a couple days later the balance was there, now showing zero balance again. Is there any explanation for this and maybe a simple remedy to fix it? I tried generating new addresses which a few others have suggested but this has not fixed the problem. I also went through Mobile wallet video for help but did not find any help.
Quite likely a big turnoff for anyone looking into Iota, but I understand the developers are probably well aware of this issue and are hard at work(hopefully).

Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you.
9  Other / Off-topic / Asset Management Salary and Lifestyle on: August 19, 2017, 02:44:53 PM
Hello,

I am soon to finish up my undergrad studies and am trying to choose a profession for myself. My interests tend to shift over time but currently I am strongly considering a career in Asset Management and had some questions about that field.
I am looking for an occupation with a decent work-life balance. I don't need to work 9-5 but I want to have time during evenings and weekends to enjoy life (family, movies, sports, exercise...) and don't only want to focus on my profession (although I am willing to work very very hard for the first 5-10 years). Is this possible in asset management? Can one become a portfolio manager in a mutual fund (I understand that HF's tend to have longer hours), for example, and work regular and normal hours? Are their any other asset management roles that you think would be a good fit for me? I went through many resourses Asset Management Video for help but,did not find any help.
Please help me out.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you .
10  Economy / Trading Discussion / trading platform on: August 11, 2017, 10:05:27 AM
Hello,

I'm relatively new on the trading online world and I would like to have a suggestion regarding the trading platform to use. I prevalently use interactive brokers but I also own other accounts and I would like to use all of them with a single software, instead of learning how to use several different platforms for every broker I trade with.
Does anybody know a trading platform which is able to use data for more than one broker? And which is the best in your opinion?
I went through Trading Platform Video for help ,but wasnt satisfied.
Any help would be much appreciated and if we like your quote we'll use it in the leaflet with your permission.

Thank you.
