Oh wow, and as if by some magic power I clicked back over and I has received a payment!! Awesome.  Grin

I think payments are stuck on the http://pool.boldprivate.network mining pool. The block height seems correct but I have not received a payout in 24 hours and have a pending balance of 1,030+ BOLD. Killer project though.  Smiley
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [POW] [XHV] Haven Protocol - untraceable payments x stable value storage on: April 27, 2018, 04:08:14 PM
How do I connect to the wallet? I'm having issues starting the daemon and when I put in a remote node and press connect, nothing happens

Try starting havend.exe manually, if it isn't there your antivirus probably deleted and you will need to redownload.

The remote node address is remote.havenprotocol.com    port: 17750

OK, I'm blind. lol Thanks havenprotocol! This helped! Is the wallet undergoing an update? I was curious as to why the local sync stopped working. But thanks again for this post!

Anyone having trouble with the local sync on the Mac wallet? I tried running "havend" independently but get "bus error 10" "logout" and thats it. I also tried remote sync to 211.159.138.158:17750 but clicking sync does nothing. Everything was running great until this morning.

I can see this's miners community and no one care about the growth of the coin but to mine and sell it at any price. Too bad this coin is still not listed on Coinexchange despite low listing cost. Shame on the devs. It means Anthony was the only one getting things moving. Investors are not foolish as you think.
You want everything run fast, this is not good for BTCZ project, which is very young.
Many people are mining and holding and I think this is very good strategy at this stage - very high chances that you will multiply your holdings, because this project is damn good.

Besides of possible profit I also like this project from the concept point of view: without any premine, GPU mining (no ascis), real decentralization, fast and cheap transactions, possibility of anonymous transactions, community development, no tricky and greedy developers (like in BCH, BTG projects) this coin really follows ideology of Satoshi and it deserves to be in top ten of cryptocoins. Many people forgot initial idea why Bitcoin was started and are looking only to earn x1000 as soon as possible.

This is exactly the way I feel about this project. Anyone dumping this coin instead of holding it is selling the project and themselves short; but they'll be kicking themselves later.

Is the BitcoinZ community interested in having this coin listed on Poloniex? I was looking at different exchanges regarding coin listing and read this on the Poloniex site. Let me know if I'm missing something but is this basically saying that they don't require payment for being listed on their exchange? If its already been requested and requires voting, let me know so I can get some people here in town to vote on it (that goes for any other exchanges where BTCZ is in listing progress as well).

How can I get a coin listed on Poloniex?
Modified on: Thu, 15 Jun, 2017 at 9:28 PM

We don't have a definitive set of criteria as each project is unique. We listen to the community and select projects that we believe are unique, innovative, and that our users would be interested in trading. We also look for products that have strong (organic) market demand.

Some takeaways:
We cannot list any token that resembles a security. We suggest token devs familiarize themselves with The Howey Test.

The developers/leads of any token exchanged on the platform must have fully verified accounts. Since tracking down dev teams and requesting ID verification can be quite time consuming, this is something the project team could do in advance to greatly expedite the process, in the event we do decide to list.

Note: We do not accept payment for listing. If you are contacted by any party soliciting payments while claiming to represent Poloniex, notify us immediately.
Glad we could be helpful. Thanks for the feedback.

Can a masternode be run on any linux distro that is debian based?

My node works on debian.

Awesome thanks!

I have no idea why people are not flocking to this coin instead of BCH or BTG right now. BTCZ has an amazing android wallet! Transactions seem to be the fastest I've experienced with any coin. So, in short, it's fast and practical.

I've been mining and holding this coin and getting people into mining it as well but telling them to hold it and not sell it.

I've also started doing this thing where talk to friends and random people about BTCZ and tell them that it's basically Bitcoin 2.0 and to install the wallet so I can send 'em 100BTCZ right then and there. They get pretty excited about it and the project when they feel like people really want them to be part of it. I also do it to show them a quick demonstration of how it works and also tell them to just leave it there because it'll be worth lots later.

Now I have people asking more questions about the project and it has also led to some of these same people going as far as building a mini rig and mining it as well. (with a little instruction)

I really believe in this coin and its community... So much that I'm giving away BTCZ here to people who don't know about it yet to get them excited about it. I don't know how much longer I can give coins away to locals but it seems to be working to get them into it.

Is there no way to get coins from an old wallet that I was using a few months ago?
There is no "wallet" in the bitcoin sense. Your passphrase is the sole secret that is needed to control funds. You can log in to any wallet that is up to date and check/send your funds wherever you want them.

Try this site works like a charm for me: https://wallet.burst.cryptoguru.org:8125/index.html
Press "returning user" and enter your passphrase. Thats all it needs!

Thanks Real-Duke!! Worked perfectly!

Oh I know, but since the site went down I was trying to login here http://pool.burst-team.us:8125/index.html (a link from a previous post) and it was showing up with the correct wallet address but a 0 balance and an error message.

I really like this coin.
I feel drawn to it.

I'm working on a site with info + dedicated forum for you guys. I'm not a dev or anything of the sort. I just want to contribute.

My plan was to build the site, secure it and then introduce it here in the forum and if the majority like it, then we can roll with it; if you think it sucks, no hard feelings. lol I understand the vision of this coin doesn't belong to me, but to everyone in this place. Everyone has a vision so I'd like to hold a vote on here since I feel this is pretty much the stronghold of this coin's community as far as I can tell.

So anyway, I'd like to do this. Its not ready yet. Still working on it as I have 3 jobs currently. But I will slap it together as fast but securely as possible!

I hope the stuff gets sorted out with Cryptopia soon! I love that exchange!

I'm new to 8Bit and Masternodes but not crypto wallets. I downloaded the latest version of the blockchain for 8Bit and seem to be having issues syncing extremely slow. Its so slow that I am now more behind than when I started. It seems that the blockchain is developing faster than the wallet can sync. I have also allowed all port access for the 8Bit wallet as well. If you guys have anymore helpful information plz seed.

Thanks!  Grin
You seem to be using Windows wallet. If your PC is powerful enough, try running a virtual machine with Ubuntu + 8bit wallet. Linux is the only way for me to work with this coin currently.

PS - It's been awhile since I've been in the forums. If my forum etiquette sucks, feel free to tell me. Thanks again!

Alright drays, I installed Ubuntu in VMWare Workstation. Is there a wallet available for Ubuntu or does it have to be set up like a VPS Masternode and access everything from the VPS installation console? Also is this something I can run from a Vultr or Linode similar to Chaincoin's Masternode?

Thanks for all the info!

Yes, sure you can run it from Vultr or Linude. If you plan to run a masternode, you will need to use them anyway, to have static public IP.

There is no ready wallet for Linux (I actually doubt it is possible to have at all, as there are too many flavors for Linux). So you have to build the daemon yourself.

Use this instructions: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1028119.msg19946996;topicseen#msg19946996
Or these ones: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1028119.msg15242104;topicseen#msg15242104
Use whichever you like more... Smiley I have to tell I didn't test any of them myself though.

Excellent! Thanks drays!! I'll give it a shot asap!
